^^ yeah I've heard from other folken who have had the Mirena that they either didn't get a period or if they did, it was a day or two of spotting and that was all. I just kinda expected to have one by now because I am not EBF (tho I do still BF, maybe my body thinks its doing all it needs to - its not but oh well) and I waited until 13 weeks PP to have the mirena put in. Glad to know others still haven't had theirs yet, tho. That's reassuring
I've had 2 periods, the first was at 10.5 weeks and lasted 5 days, really heavy, then light. Not 2 weeks later, it happened again, so September 2-6, then 18-23, and then on October 3,I started spotting pretty heavy and cramping. Dark, mucus like spotting (sorry, TMI). I'm not breastfeeding anymore and I started back on same pill I was pre-pregnancy when they told me to and just started the 2nd pack last night. I called and left a message with the nurse just to see if this is normal. My period has always been like clockwork, so this is really annoying. Also starting to freak out that the spotting is implentation bleeding, even though I take my pill everyday and was on it for 2.5 weeks before having sex without a condom
I've also lost a crap ton of hair, it just keeps coming out. So much so that some of it got tangled on lo's toes and she was screaming because it got wrapped around her little feet!! UGH, I'm so tired of pulling out globs every day. I'm on the prenatals so I'm hoping that helps maybe I will go chop some of it off this week. I'm hoping we all have some hair after this...
No period here either I think we are 14 weeks (I would have to look at the homepage I always forget the weeks). EBF.
I would like for my system to return to normal... Whatever I eat gives me terrible gas... Like could rival your male family members quality - it's really not attractive lol.
I've mentioned in that past that since having LO I've had lots of stomach aches and issues (aka sprinting to the bathroom). Well, I have figured it out!
Dairy and/or Eggs= Disaster
I don't eat much dairy to begin with, however I started buying some Greek yogurt after LO was born. Very out of character for me, but it sounded good and is a quick snack. Also, although unrelated to the dairy, about once a week I'd find myself making a few eggs for dinner - again, fast and easy. After eliminating these two things independently I've resolved all my problems! Is it possible that your digestion can change after having a baby?! It's sort of blowing my mind. Or maybe it's some freak coincidence. Regardless, if anyone else is having stomach issues I wanted to share in case this helps in any way.

Oof, thinking of you. I'm sure it will all be fine, but if not, give your FIL a lie detector test. He's the one who wanted you to have another baby ASAP, right? Sorry to joke, but truly am thinking of you and betting/hoping it's just your body regulating.
For those of you dealing with painful hemmheroids and poops...
DH has had them for years, and taught me to bring my knees in closer to my body, kind of go up on my toes to get my knees higher, and kind of bend over... This makes more of a squatting position than sitting upright. (Imagine squatting down over a hole in the ground, and trying to get your butt below your knees, lol)
And it worked! I'm so relieved I'm not in pain every time I go now!! Hope this way TMI can help some of you (and actually just hope none of you are dealing with this issue any more, it sucks).
Ive had one month without bleeding since LO was born. June-September I was bleeding because of DEPO and now I am bleeding because of Mirena?? ENOUGH ALREADY!!
@virginiaunicorn11 yes, when LO was 4 days old, maybe he tampered with my pills, lol. I talked to the nurse yesterday and apparently breakthrough bleeding is common with the pill I'm on (never had it before). She was going to talk to the doctor today and call me back. Pretty sure I'm not pregnant, just my overactive mind at work

Interesting! I'll need to do some detective work on myself - a good issue didn't occur to me! But yeah I've had random bad guts. Hopefully not my Chobani breakfasts!
Sex. 4 months PP and i still haven't healed yet. I have scar tissue on/in my virginia which makes it so painful. My doctor prescribed a topical estrogen cream but it isn't helping. Anyone else struggling? It's really upsetting...
@kbbtah sex is still no fun for me. In addition to the fact that I just. Don't. Want. To. I don't know about the cream, but I do remember some ladies talking about needing a cream to help heal. Hopefully they'll chime in, but I did want to let you know the deed isn't fun over here, either
Had my IUD check up today, I thought the spotting I had was in relation to that and the weird pressure during sex I was feeling was a result of baby...turns out I just had yucky polyps. Ewwwwwww! OB cut them out today and she said everything should resolve itself now and that they're common after delivery....but bleh!
I have a lot of scar tissue where my top stitch popped and the wound didn't approximate right. I had the skin cauterized to help with healing but it's still very painful. I do have estrogen cream which I think is helping some. I use it when I can remember. We've only had sex twice. The scar tissue hurts and it just burns horribly. I joke our poor LO will be an only child. My poor DH. However it's pretty frustrating for me too. I birthed a baby out of there and can't have sex bc it hurts too much. Who would've thought.
@swaugh14 I had to cut out Greek Yogurt and milk as well. I would get terrible gas with the yogurt and noticed LO had an upset tummy after as well. So strange. I loved that stuff before having her!

Every time I think the diarrhea is over, it comes back with a vengeance. You'd think I'd lose weight since I can't seem to keep anything in my stomach, but somehow I'm getting fatter.
Really looking forward to my neurologist appointment week after next so I can figure out this numb tailbone crap.

Aw, lady, that sucks! I hope you feel better soon and they figure out your tailbone. Mine hurt for about a month PP but then eased up.

Thanks, I don't even understand why it hurts, I had a scheduled csection so I didn't labor or push. I'm over it. Sitting at my desk and having an almost 3 hour round trip commute is killing me
@KarasTwin still having the weird diarrhea myself, too. The other day while I was grocery shopping I had to race home and after checking out and quick bring LO inside while leaving my groceries in the car because it was almost a disaster. And that's not the first time. At least each time I manage to complete my grocery shopping. What the hell, man?
@KarasTwin sorry about the tailbone. That sucks. Hopefully you find a solution.
Hair loss...check Weird pooping...check...when I gotta go I gotta go. Not losing weight as quickly as I wanted...check...I might actually be gaining back now.
So funny that the very day we are over here complaining about hair loss, we have a drive by hair loss thread. #-o Literally within the 10 most recents comments here. Le sigh... :-<
My sister said she had diarrhea for a year. I can't handle that. And as @mellymar said in the parenting fails thread, major swamp ass. I usually put LO in the bath with me, but I told DH I was going to shower first. He asked why and I told him I needed to wash my butt because I had swamp ass. He almost fell off the couch laughing.
Has anyone experience ingrown toenails since being post partum? I don't get it ever since I had my LO its been one after the next and now they are getting infected and worried they will have to remove it
Re: Lingering postpartum symptoms- post here!
I EP, 5-7 times a day. So I wasn't expecting it quite so soon.

ETA I also still tear up when I see stupid cheesy commercials or movies..which I never did before pregnancy.
