I was sweating like crazy until I started my period yesterday. I only breastfed for 2 weeks and hoped it would go away sooner, but I started my period yesterday at 10.5 weeks PP, last night I felt like my old self again, icy cold feet and all.
Sweaty and I feel like I miss a heartbeat every now and again... Wondering if it's related to the mini-pill Or hormones in general? Time to call the doctor. Anyone else experience an irregular heartbeat?
I had this reaction last time I got on the pill after DS was born. I stopped immediately. If resolved itself after about a week of being off it. I'd call your doc.
Mirena bleeding has officially ceased after 6 weeks. CAN I GET A HELL YEAH?! First time since like 23 weeks I haven't had to wear a panty liner. Helloooo non granny panties.

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
Anyone else prescribed Estrace for a non healing episiotomy? I had some skin burned off yesterday (so much fun!) and then was given estrogen cream. Wondering if anyone has had good results.
Like clockwork, my hair is starting to go at 1 day before 3 months PP. So far, just lots on the shower drain. This was true before pregnancy but it's been so long, I forget if this amount is normal or extra. I didn't lose hair the same way when I was pregnant.
Shortly after giving birth I noticed rough patches on my knees. I kind of scratched and picked at them because i'm disgusting and then tried hydrocortisone cream. It is kind of better but still a little pink and rough. The doctor said something generic about hormones but I would think that would have settled down by now. Anyone else have this strange symptom?

The hair loss has started for me too, ugh. When I dry off after a shower my lost hairs are everywhere! Starting to see it in the shower drains and on LO too.

Tons of my hair falls out in the shower. And I'm always plucking stray hairs off of LOs clothes, fists, spitty blankets. The texture feels different, too.

Yes! I had to wear a heart monitor and they checked my thyroid. All was nkrm but they chalked it up to lack of sleep
This thread made me feel like the only person left who hasn't had PP sex, so I gave in (keepin up with my peers). Like losing my viriginity, but less exciting.
I haven't done the deed. Almost 3 months pp, but I'm scared it's going to hurt real bad. :-S
@caitlincunn frequent pooping. Lots of greens. If I didn't go for a few days it was worse. I still kind of clench when I go at the beginning because the pain makes me nervous.

Weird lightheaded spells. What's up with that? Luckily they only really happen when I lay down and when I sit up from laying down. But they're stronger than the usual blood pressure thing. And STILL having muscle spasms in my ribs / back.
I can see why drs recommend waiting a year to let your body recover before getting pregnant again or putting your body under other stresses, geez.
@mellymar I had a weird/bad light headed spell yesterday, too. First one PP and I only remember having one bad one during pregnancy. They're freaky. Sorry about your rib/back. I forget if you ever went to a chiropractor? I finally went two weeks ago. It was the first time since childbirth so I was a mess. I felt soooo much better after. And, sorry about your beer fridge. So glad you saved the beer! What a pain though.
Depression. And crazy lady hormones. I was calm and happy during pregnancy. As soon as he popped out I've become a over emotional mess. He's almost three months what the hell.
@virginiaunicorn11 no I haven't been to a chiro. I'd like to go but my insurance is balking at covering stuff for this (I also couldn't get physical therapy) so they won't cover it and we can't really afford for me to go and pay out of pocket. So, I've just been doing some stretches for my general back area and also some stuff based loosely on yoga poses that open up my ribs. They don't happen as frequently or as strongly, but they're still around. My OB gave me a certificate for a half hour massage at my 6 week PP appt for it, but I keep forgetting to schedule until times like now... When the office is closed. :-q I'd also kinda like to use that as a treat type thing vs a fix it thing. They should eventually go away with the stretches, I think.
@mellymar My chiro both in the Midwest and East Coast both charge $25 for an adjustment (saying this because there is often a huge price difference for things in those two locations). And I found my East Coast guy through a Groupon package for a few sessions (sounds shady but he's legit, swear!). I've definitely been through periods where I don't have $25 to spare, but just FYI in case you thought it would be more. I wish I could get you to a Fix It massage coupon so you could get that taken care of. I have deepest sympathy for back and rib pain! Take care of yourself, lady!
Hair falling out. ..check Creaky joints. ..check, especially my ankles when I get up in the middle of the night Weird dizzy spells. ..check, a few of them but usually when I haven't eaten enough Gassy before poops. ..check
The PP time is so awesome huh?
And thanks ford the poster who mentioned bruises on your thighs. I could not figure out why I have so many until I saw the post about the car seat causing them. Makes so much sense.
I've had more belly aches since LO was born. Anyone else? What's that about?
These are straight up stomach aches (not womanly cramps) like a little kid gets where I feel like I need some Pepto. Almost always in the evening or during the night and doesn't hang around like a bug. I feel like some kind of food may be bothering me, but I haven't tracked closely enough to see similarities. Maybe I'll put that on my to do list.
Ugh, so many headaches now! I'm so tired of always having a headache, it seems like. Plain Tylenol doesn't cut it. I've been having to use my Tylenol 3s (with codeine). I wonder if I went back to the Dr and asked for fioricet if its safe for bfing. That stuff was the bomb.
And yes, @swaugh14 my stomach is often messed up now, too.

Mine too! A couple bouts of unexplained nausea at night.
Well, not that I'm glad others have tummy aches, but I'm a little less worried if maybe it's one of the many body changing side effects of giving birth. The list is never-ending!
Ugh painful internal hemorrhoids. Make me dread pooping. Like sometime I'm legit scared to go. It sucks. I have like a frozen bag in the freezer for after oh and my spray bottle. I hate it. I'm 13 weeks pp. also leakage. I find my panties a little wet sometimes from drippage.
My hemmerhoids are still very painful during #2. And they bleed when I go. They're not uncomfortable at other times, and they're not large. Also, I used to be very regular and have an easy time going. Stupid mother nature. Stupid stupid stupid.
Re: Lingering postpartum symptoms- post here!
@katyqv I've gotten light headed a few times if I go too long without eating.
Last two times my period didn't come back for like 7 months but I'm worried the Mirena is going to make it come back sooner this time.

Will my vagina ever be the same? I had a third degree tear
