I need to rant. As I told everyone here a few days ago. I'm expecting a baby boy. I'm also a FTM so maybe I'm a little sensitive here, but when my husband and I told my SIL we were going to be having a boy - she got mad. Telling us she wanted to have the first boy. Not even saying congrats or anything. She just had a baby girl five months ago, and she wanted a girl! So I don't know how she can be mad that I'm expecting a boy! She then commented on the name saying his didn't like the middle name which is my dads middle name. The middle name isn't something crazy. It's Jay. So maybe it's just my hormones but she's made me super annoyed. Ending. Rant. I hope everyone else is having a good day!
Why am I being so lazy, Back to the Future and Fifth Element have been on SyFy and I always have to watch them when it's on. All my motivation is now post in front of this TV.

sorry your SIL is behaiving like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum.
DH and I plan on keeping the name a secret until the baby is born so we can avoid any conversations where people feel the need to chime in with their thoughts/feelings/suggestions so we don't have to deal with it. I know me, with my hormones right now I would not be very nice to anyone with snarky comments on the name....lol.
@ndgraham, I can totally relate! My SIL is quite a few years older than my DH and I. She totally screwed up (so did her husband) in her first marriage and ended up getting divorced. She has not been remarried yet. When we told her I was pregnant with #1, she literally hated me for 9 months. At one point she even got mad at me for not showing her my stretch marks because it was "the least I could do" and stormed out of the room.
My husband and I dreaded calling and telling her about #2, for good reasons. When we called and told her it was radio silence for a good minute and then all she said was, "Great. I am just so behind in life".
I understand feeling upset you're not where you want to be in life, but maybe fake it until you're off the phone?! She's also been cheating on all her boyfriends, so I have a hard time sympathizing with her. :-q
@SparkE82 She's the only one who has a problem with the name we've chose. A lot of people have given us complements on the name. So I think maybe she was saying her comment to be spiteful!
@OneRainDrop My SIL and your SIL have a lot in common! My SIL use to cheat on all her boyfriends then complain to me and my husband about how hard it is to find a good man. I had to bite my tongue.
@ndgraham that sucks that she is so immature. It always amazes me the number of people who begrudge other people's happiness but do nothing to make their lives any better or easier.

Good luck to all the ladies with appointments today! I'm so jealous- my appointment was supposed to be tomorrow but it got moved to Monday- meaning my 16 week appointment will be at almost 18 weeks. My doctor's office is getting really behind on me! I can't complain too much though- he is a highly demanded doctor and I am fortunate to have had him for the past 4 years. He has helped me get over my weight struggle, properly diagnose me with PCOS, and most importantly, he helped GET ME PREGNANT in the first place!

I don't like sitting with my laptop either. Also, the Internet browser on my phone is what I was talking about. I haven't had any problems using tb that way.

I have decided that Tuesdays are the worst day of the work week. Why not Monday, you say? Well on Monday, you're still riding the high from the weekend. Sure, it's a little sad that it's over, but you still have those great memories to carry you through your 8 hours. Wednesday is hump day and knowing the week is half over is always a relief. The anticipation for the weekend helps you get through Thursday and Friday. But Tuesday?? You have nothing. You're just an empty shell of a person with the last weekend far behind you and the next weekend way out of reach.
If you can't tell, I'd rather not be at work today lol.
Woo hoo! I just totally SCORED!!! I was going to buy all new baby gear, but I found an ad on craigslist for a full set of stuff for $150! Pack and play, swing, high chair, and stroller/carseat travel system. All in neutral brown and they all are the matching set! The lady said she never used the stroller so its like new. Oh yeah- and its all Graco!
Rant/Whine: I'm exhausted, nauseous, have a headache and hangry. I just want to curl up in a ball under my down comforter and watch HGTV all day with no toddler or DH to bug me. One can dream.....
