We came up with our name short-list before I got pregnant since I was afraid that hormone surges would do wacky things to my judgement (my mom came up with a comical, food-related name for my brother whilst pregnant that my dad had to talk her out of).
A boy will likely be Henry Edward as a nod to the names of my grandfathers since DS is named George William for my husband's grandfathers. Plus, we just like those names on their own for their sounds, meaning, and flow with our last name.
Our girl choice is more rare, but we're pretty set on it: Guinevere Rose. I love the variety of nicknames with it as well as the literary nod and DH immediately fell for the name when we first put our list together a few years ago.
Other names that we like, but probably won't use are Wesley, Desmond, or Leopold for boys, and Cordelia, Elsbeth, or Zelda for girls.
When we had our son, we could only think of a boy's name. We couldn't decide on a girl's name! This time around we only can think of a girl's name... We like Lucy Pilar (Pilar is my mom's middle name). Can't wait to find out the gender
My hubby and I started picking out names before we were even engaged! For a girl Evelyn Leia (we're a family of nerds and my initials spell ELF so if we have a little girl my hubby wants hers to as well) and for a boy we like Logan Taliesin. We both have super common names, and it always annoyed me growing up, so want our little ones to have at least one name that has a better chance of being unique.
My daughters name is Vivienne Violet
If it's a girl I am thinking of Olivia Leigh or Olivia Moon. Moon was MILs birth name before she was adopted from Korea.
If it's a boy I'm thinking Jack David
Love Moon. My friend's dad passed away right after she was born and was adopted later by her step dad --- BUT her birth fathers last name was Nightingale and I begged her to use it for a middle name of her DD...I still cant believe she past it up.
Hubby and I have had the boy name picked since the beginning of our relationship. He will be Isaac Lucas. If it's a girl we like the name Magnolia Leila. We would call her Maggie for short.
If this one's a girl, it will definitely be Virginia May (my grandma's name).
For a boy, my husband has his heart set on on James, but calling him Jamie (after my grandpa), but I'm still holding out hope that I can convince him to go with Isaiah... we'll see
If it's a boy- Ryder Stange (Stange is a family name) Girl: Eleanor Lynn (Lynn is after my husbands mothers) Back up boys: Easton Back up girls: Evelyn
DH is obsessed with Mackenzie. Today we made a breakthrough (or so I thought) because I love the name June. So DH said he liked Mackenzie June. Hopefully I can nix the Mackenzie before May... We are about to start on boy names.
Been married since 2009. Unicornuate Uterus (yes I menstruate glitter) Several MCs DD born 2013 (our miracle "you can't have babies" baby!)
We have decided not to discuss names till after we know the sex, but Im in love with Sterling Alexander for a boy and Aria Sage for a girl. Hoping this isn't too much of an argument. I already know that everyone in my household and his hates Sterling, but I think my heart will hurt if I don't have a Sterling in my life.
We like Whitney and Brooke for a girl. Boys are harder- I like Jacob. We both like nick (his dad). I don't mind RJ (Ryan jr). But not sold on any of them. The Chinese sex predictor on TB says we are gonna to have a boy so we better start thinking of boy names I guess! Haha!
DD is Scarlett Mae so we're trying to come up with something that goes well with it.
Boys
Emmett
Nolan

I feel like name agreement is going to be way more difficult between DH and I this time around too... Eek!
Nolan is my son's name and Gemma is one of our top choices! Love your taste in names
We chose Jeremiah Jorge and Nicolette Grace or Eliana Nicole. if its twins of the same sex we're going to have to think of another boy name. I like Jaxson or Grayson but my husband doesn't like either. So I guess once we find out if it's 2 then we will think of boy name #2. :x
we haven't given it much thought really. we have 2 daughters, so I'm kind of out of girl names I did come up with Hoyt Andrew for a boy though, I thought that was pretty cute.

Sterling is a family name for us! It was my grandfather's first name. Then used as my brother's middle name (he passed away at 7). Then it was used as my little sister's middle name (Logan Sterling). I have always loved it!
We definitely haven't decided on anything, but have been talking about it! We are more set on a girl name, I love Willa Elizabeth (my grandfather was William and Elizabeth after my mom (Beth), grandma (Betty), and DH's grandma (Beth). We also like Jane, Clara, Cecilia, and Lydia. For boys names we like Griffin, Lincoln, Reid, Clayton, and Henry. I'm sure our lists will change as we get farther along as well.
We have been throwing a lot of names around. But top runners .. Girl: Everli , Kendrix Boy: Niklaus Valko,
Were just constantly picking out names separately and then if the other doesn't like mark it out. We still have a while tho. But we need REALLY unique names. We have a sons named Leighjian and Zaleighyon.
I am so stuck because I was originally so gung-ho about Desmond for a boy, but for some reason it just isn't sounding right now. I would love a 2 syllable name, easy to spell/pronounce, easy to find an appropriate and cute nickname, that is either English or Italian that would sound good with a 5 syllable Italian last name D______o. Middle name is definitely David. Any suggestions?
PS- our son is Renzo so I'm trying to find something that kind of goes with that
For a girl, we are debating between Ruby or Iliana with a middle name of either Diana or Mary (respectively) to honor our mothers.

I also love Ruby, but my husband has vetoed it. I'm going to continue to work on him, though!
I think MH would probably veto it too if he knew why I wanted the name Ruby. Yes, it is super cute and beautiful, but I am a total Potterhead and Hagrid is my favorite character. What is his first name? Rubeus. So technically, I somehow convinced MH to name a future daughter after a character from Harry Potter. Score!
Girl - Evelyn Jean Boy - Walter John (or Jon or Joel... we aren't sure yet!) I'd like to call him Wally as a nickname.
We have a back up name in case it's twins (though I really don't think it is), which is Toby. I'd like to use this name regardless of it's a boy or girl, but I'm not sure what DH will think about that!

Boy: David James (my dad and my wife's brother)
Girl: Sonia Margaret (Sonia for Justice Sotomayor, Margaret is a traditional middle name on my wife's side, and her middle name as well)
Took us FOREVER to settle on a girl's first name we liked that went with Margaret!
