So many of you know I struggled for a bit breastfeeding. Its still no walk in the park, but im past the hump and we are chugging through. I got back to work at the beginning of November and plan to hopefully pump for her then. I cant decide how long to keep it up, 6 months, 1 year?? How long are you all planning on trying to make it breastfeeding??
Re: How long do you plan to BF?
I BF DS for almost 3 years. I'm planning on going for, at least, a year with DD.
Edited: because I don't know my children's gender in the middle of the night.

We're supposed to get a 30 minute meal break and two 10 minute "personal breaks" - smoke, go get coffee, sit down for a few minutes, whatever. So that's a total of 50 minutes. Break that down into two 25 minute pump sessions and there ya go. I just always made sure to pack my lunch and take care of any other personal needs before work so I wouldn't need additional breaks.
Like I said, my coworkers have always been more than supportive. Half the time they were the ones reminding me to go pump! lol. Good luck!
As for what the plan is when I go back to work (3 13hr shifts/week), I honestly don't know. I'm just trying to make it through now!
