Spelling "correctly" means spelling how you want it! You don't need to spell it "Jackson" bc your mother's grandmother's great grandmother spelled it that way. Go with your gut and you will be happy. I like Jaxon bc Jax is cute and simple for a baby or adult! Either way would be fabulous!

Spelling it "correctly" means following established and accepted spelling and phonics rules, not replacing random letters in order to be youneek.
People need to remember their LOs will not be cute little kids forever, they will become adults at some point. They need a name that can be taken seriously in a professional setting. At work I am helping with interviews, and whether you like it or ( whether it is right or wrong) people are judged by the name on the top of the resume. If I am looking at 2 candidates with essentially the same qualifications and one has a youneek name, and the other doesn't. I (along with the majority of the other's involved in hiring) will favor Jackson over the "different name".
