I may or may not have been eating the Velveeta cheese spread that came with our taco kit straight from the pouch after dinner last night while DH cleaned up...he was disgusted when he caught me. I was shame-faced.
My future sister in law (fiance's brother's wife) just announced that she's 7 weeks pregnant with her second child so she's three weeks behind me. It will be kind of cool to have babies so close in age. I would never tell her, but for some reason I'm just not that happy about it. It's not helping anything that she feels absolutely fantastic while I've been having all day sickness for weeks.
@shawnacrest ... btdt.... seems like every time we get preg... one of my sister in laws does too! Not that I need all the attention.... but dang.... can I just have a baby by myself please? !?!?!
When I was pregnant with DD, my DH's younger sister got pregnant 4 months later. Now his older sister is 5 weeks ahead of me. Most of me is/was happy for them, I'm the only one on my side of the family that has been pregnant ever so I at least get that to be special! But with my DD, I was one of EIGHT women at my work who were some amount pregnant at the same time. This time, so far, it is just me. I like the special attention...lol.

She might be telling you she feels absolutely fantastic when in reality.....
My SIL did that this past winter. She looked like crap and would tell you she felt fine. There was one point where she had just gotten done telling me she felt great and then ran to the bathroom to throw up.
This morning I made brownies for my girls weekend. I licked the spoon and spatula clean...and I don't even feel guilty...first thing in weeks that has tasted amazing.
I ran out of my Club crackers (and I'm so incredibly sick of saltines) so I grabbed the only other box of available crackers in my pantry. They are Town House Focaccia crackers, tuscan cheese flavor. Oh...my...word. They are so insanely good. I'm pretty sure I'm going to eat the entire box...so I plan to stop at Publix on the way home to buy a new box, put it in the pantry, so DH will never know I ate the entire box.
@AEG84 same here. Bagels are the only thing that make me feel better.
My FFFC is that I've spent the morning hiding from DH and DS. DH works out of town M-Th but I just need to be left alone. Every time they find me I slip out of the room and hide in another,

Eat all the bagels!
Another confession: the only kind of bagel worth eating is blueberry. The deli downstairs at my work does not carry blueberry. WHAT?!?

I haven't had a bagel in YEARS. Today I had a mini one and I can't stop thinking about it. I want all the bagels!
I want to swim in a pool of buttery popcorn goodness...literally---doing butterfly through that yumminess! With my mouth wide open chowing my way through it! Or just go swim laps....or better yet...sit on the couch with a bucket of movie theater popcorn!
Confession.. 2 out of the 4 weekends in September I will be on mini vacations and taking DD with me while DH stays home hangs out and hunts. I am jealous that he gets 2 4 day breaks from having responsibilities and I really hope he decides to take DD out for a whole day so I can have some alone time! Don't get me wrong I have enjoyed my away time with just DD but I want some me time!
Confession: Everytime I hear about someone not having any symptoms and not "feeling pregnant", I wish I would punch them in the throat. You want me to share my symptoms with you?! Because I have plenty to go around. Ok, back to being nice.
We close on our new house on September 30, I go out of town for a girls GTG (sans kids) October 1-4. I do not feel bad about leaving DH to unpack everything.
He an a buddy are going out of the country on a vacation the following weekend, so I will rearrange when he's gone.

Today, I got invited to a wedding. It's clearly a "you're on the B list and not enough people from our A list responded so wanna come?" type invitation. I know this because 5 of the 7 people in my immediate family got their invitations 2 months ago. My sister and I got ours today. The wedding is in 3 weeks.
My confession : I think B lists are super tacky. I don't want to be a backup guest just so your tables are full and you can get my gift.
I think people WAY overreacted to the view thing with nurses. Yeah the stethoscope comment was extremely uneducated, but I'm sorry, that "'monologue" was not a talent. Of course nursing is a talent. You have to be extremely special to do it and do it well. But if you want to show that as your talent, then show us what nursing is. Don't just read something. Show us how to check vitals and do cpr. I'm really talented at baking cookies but I wouldn't monologue about them, I would demo them. I'm also great at embroidery and I wouldn't just go and be like, I make the design in my software, then I transfer it to my machine and get my garment on the frame. I would show people. The only time a monologue is a talent is if is performed in a dramatic fashion like during an audition etc. but she just spoke casually about her talent instead of show casing it.
First BFP 12/2012, MMC at 9 weeks
Second BFP 6/2013, resulted in DS, born 2/23/14 :-)
Third BFP 5/2015, natural MC at 6 weeks
Fourth BFP 8/2015, hoping for sticky little brother or sister to H!
Proud SAHM to our little monkey H.
Pro Vax, extended breasftfeeder, ring sling and stroller loving mama. I don't judge you unless you don't vaccinate!
I called out of work yesterday. I work afternoon shift, and I had a Dr appt in the morning. I only got about 3 hours of sleep the night before and I was so exhausted. I probably could have gone in, but instead I decided to stay home and sleep. And today I feel much better! No guilt!!
Oh don't be jealous. I'm disgusting. I've just been feeling like such hell I am scared I'm gonna wobble in the shower (freaking head rushes). I shouldn't go more than2-3 days without washing.

My brother-in-law and his wife are expecting a daughter in December. So far my son is the only grandchild. My in-laws love him so much, are amazing grandparents, drive two hours to see him all the time, etc. etc. I confess I am jealous that there is going to be another grand baby and I secretly hope that they still love my son the most. is that awful???

I sit to shave now specifically for this reason. Also, laziness.
I think cloth diapering has its benefits but after hearing my mother tell me what a disgusting hell it was I've changed my mind. Disposables for the win .

For the record, cloth diapers are entirely different now. If it's really something that interests you, I'd do a bit more research. They're nothing like the ones our parents used! lol
3 miscarriages - 1 DS (6) - 1 DD (3) - #3 due March 30!
Here's mine: This is my first pregnancy since becoming a fitness competitor and the body image thing is fucking with my mind!!!! I'm constantly analyzing what lines/remnants of my abs are left on my midsection and staring in the mirror all day, trying to suck it is and look normal. Gah. I'm not this person!!! I enjoyed being fat and happy with my last two babies.

At least you shave, I shave maybe once a week. Fiance made the mistake of telling me he really doesn't care that much.

My friend Ann used cloth diapers ( super cute ones ) for about 6 months with her little girl and had some positives and negatives she shared with me . It's still a big nope.

Oh it doesn't happen more than once a week

Also, I would feel bad about what it would do to my DD's life.
