What's something new you are doing for baby? Worked on organizing DS's baby clothes and accessories so I'm all set if it's another boy. Also continued moving his playroom downstairs since his current play room will be his new bedroom.
What's new with baby? Baby has doubled in weight since last week.

GTKY: What makes you happiest about Fall? (Recipes welcome) I honestly just love getting back into jeans and long sleeves.
What's something new you are doing for baby? Now that we told family last night on grandparents day I feel so much better! I feel like I can actually start getting the baby's room started. I want to get the big stuff like crib and what not set up before I'm 6 months so I can help set it up while I'm not too big.
What's new with baby? Baby is the size of a peach!!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves: Wowza this heartburn is making me miserable. I never got ms so yay but I have always had heartburn at night and nausea. Today I got it while I was driving the kids to school =(
Questions: I don't like taking any meds at all so would taking meds for heartburn affect the baby??
GTKY: What makes you happiest about Fall? (Recipes welcome) I can't wait for snuggly sweaters!!!! I live in TX though so it's never too cold but I want stuff to cover my baby bump that's forming because I'm still not ready to tell my boss. I work as a nanny and I don't want them to feel like I can't work and I have a plan for when the baby comes I just don't want them to know because they are very nosy and it's still early.
What's something new you are doing for baby?: this week I am starting yoga, since I've finally kicked most of my morning sickness.
What's new with baby?: baby has really popped up in the last few days! I went from not showing to holy pregnant!

What's something new you are doing for baby? I'm going to hit the gym again this week. I've been really slacking lately, I just get so out of breath even going for a walk, I've been putting off the gym.
What's new with baby? I keep trying to feel baby, but no luck so far! I'm a FTM so I know I may not feel baby for a few more weeks, but I want confirmation baby's still there.

I love the smell of wood smoke! And every year we go pick our own pumpkins for carving.
What's something new you are doing for baby? We painted the upper half of the baby's room yesterday. After living in our house for just over a year the awful pink is finally gone! Not we just have to figure out what we're going to do below the chair rail so we can get rid of the poop brown color it (and the closet doors...wtf?) are painted. Also have an ultrasound on Wednesday to see if this damn SCH is gone.
What's new with baby? According to Ovia, our babe is the size of a roborovski hamster which is just stinking adorable. Baby is developing so fast!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves: I am so sick of getting sick while brushing my teeth. I already had a mild gag reflex to begin with but the last month has just been ridiculous! Oh and my boobs are itchy as hell. DH has already commented that he can not hold one in one hand anymore so I guess that means they are getting bigger.

GTKY: What makes you happiest about Fall? (Recipes welcome) I am WAY more comfortable in fall weather clothing. Boots, tights/leggings with a dress instead of pants, scarves and layering. In fact, I busted out my boots today. I also love Sundays full of football, the fact the hockey starts, playoff baseball (go Cards!), fall foliage, chili (any good recipes?), all thinks pumpkin, no more mowing the grass, basically any and all things fall. It's my favorite season.

MrsEtheridge324 I take zantac every night for GERD and my son was healthy. I know a lot of women eats Tums like they are candy. Talk to your doc to make sure.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves: Terrible indigestion when I'm try to sleep (stomach sleeper). Regardless of eating 3-4 hours before I go to bed. Also running to the bathroom every hour, on the hour.

What's something new you are doing for baby? We just got the crib and changing table for the nursery and are planning on finishing cleaning out the nursery so we can paint it next month, probably painting the walls a pale yellow or light green to go along with the Winnie the Pooh theme we are doing.
What's new with baby? Little baby is growing so quickly and is about the size of a plum!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves: I really hate that brushing my tongue almost always causes me to gag/throw up. My breasts have been sore and tender for a couple of weeks now, drinking lots of water (just means more frequent bathroom trips!), and eating pretty healthy! Since I've been pregnant I've been craving lots of fruits, vegetables and salads.

GTKY: What makes you happiest about Fall? (Recipes welcome) I love Fall for pretty much everything! We live in the Midwest (KS) and this is definitely my favorite time of year, time to bust out scarves, boots and sweaters!!! I also love cooking for this type of weather, lots of stews and pies (below is a link to my FAVORITE apple pie, family agrees it's the best!)!
What's something new you are doing for baby? Just started prenatal Yoga, so happy about this as I was told not to do Bikram anymore once we found out.
What's new with baby? Baby is the size of a peach, and is able to move and flex the arms and legs (confirmed by the little bean bouncing off the walls in my uterus during the NT ultrasound... already misbehaving.) ;-)

What's something new you are doing for baby? Trying to cut down on my sugar intake and now that my appetite is back, find lots healthy things to snack on.
What's new with baby? She/he waved at us durring the ultrasound last week.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves: Crazy emotional. We had to put our 1.5 year old pup down last week. (She started having seizures about 6 months ago and the meds quit working... Vet couldn't find anything to help her and she pretty much lost her mind and started biting us. We had been awake with her for two nights in a row during aprox. 30 siezures.) Then the same day, we saw baby on ultrasound (amazing). Woke up the next morning on 9-11 and watched a horribly sad video. And just fell apart from the whole week. I'm still trying to shake the blues and roller coaster of emotions.

What's something new you are doing for baby? Trying not to get crazy anxious before my next appointment on Thursday. It can't get here fast enough!
What's new with baby?
Baby is squirming around and I am beginning to think I might be feeling some occasional movement. Over the last couple of days it has been more noticeable. I'm still not 100%, but it's possible.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves: today I have almost constant RLp. My right side is really sore and Everything feels so stretched out and pulled. I also have to pee constantly which is not easy now that I am back in the classroom.

I don't even know where to start. Apples, cool air, warm comfort food, football, cider donuts! I live tree blocks from a 140 year old cider mill. Dangerously close for a pregnant lady.
What's something new you are doing for baby? Decorating! Seem to be nesting a lot already
What's new with baby? I'm sure I've started to feel tiny little movements which is very exciting!

What's something new you are doing for baby? Nothing really... we're waiting until we find out the sex before we start buying things. I'm considering exercising today (by exercise I mean go for a walk - I am not in shape at all!) while DD is at preschool. We'll see if that, cleaning, or netflix wins....
What's new with baby? Lemon sized. I read it could be sucking its thumb already, so cute
Symptoms/Rants/Raves: Still feeling sick, tired. I'm starting to lose hope that my nausea will ever go away during this pregnancy. By this time with my first pregnancy I was feeling GREAT. I tried not taking my unisom last weekend and couldn't keep anything down. Even with the unisom though I still get sick usually once a day and feel yucky a lot of the time. Ok, rant over!
Questions: Do any of you worry about older kiddos being too rough with your belly? My DD is 4 so she understands she's supposed to be gentle, but I keep getting an elbow or knee to the belly when shes climbing over me or just being her crazy 4yo self. I know the baby is pretty well padded in there but I don't know how much of a risk this is.
GTKY: What makes you happiest about Fall? (Recipes welcome) I LOVE fall. Favorite season of all. I live in the south, so this is when the weather becomes perfect, and we can have long outdoor adventures and walks. I also love all the festivities: pumpkin patches, decorations, pumpkin spice candles...
What's something new you are doing for baby? Started daydreaming about how we will re-arrange the spare bedroom and our bedroom to make a temporary baby space, since we'll only be in our current place with the new baby for 1-2 months. Also daydreaming about what furniture is needed.

(39 WEEKS AND 4 days) he joked and said that's a gamble and expects me to go sooner BUT they can't schedule you any sooner than 39 weeks.
Question- Has anyone not yet had an internal/pap exam? I have had 2 OB Appts and haven't done that. We are now in 2nd trimester and My pap was due in august

What I'm doing for baby: Eating... A LOT
What's new with baby: Baby is the size of an orange.
Symptoms/raves/rants: I'm on pelvic rest and was told not to exercise or lift anything heavy after some bleeding this weekend. Honestly, the pelvic rest is a nice break. But my dh is going a little over board on the no lifting. I keep getting scolded for everything... Bringing in groceries, carrying our son, picking up laundry baskets, etc. It's nice that he cares but it'll be nice when the doctor tells him he can relax next week!
GTKY: We throw a pretty awesome Halloween party every year. Complete with a haunted maze made in our garage. I'm so excited!

What's something new you are doing for baby? I bought more maternity clothes, and I keep picking up clothes for the baby when I see something cute. I also ordered drapery for the baby's room. Lucky kid.
What's new with baby? I've felt a few things that feel like maybe movement? But I'm not certain it isn't gas.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves: Really tired still and still so emotional. I've been really, really not feeling like myself. I thought that was postpartum!!

What's something new you are doing for baby? Cleaning and de-cluttering we'll be moving in Jan so I'm trying to get as much done now hopefully I get more energy soon.
What's new with baby? Size of a lemon I've felt some flutters and I felt the same with my second son so I'm excited to feel more movement in the coming weeks.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves: My son gave me his cold a few weeks ago and now my throat hurts and I'm more than just pregnant congested. Thankfully no fever but if I don't feel better soon I'm calling my doctor.

GTKY: What makes you happiest about Fall? Pumpkin patches, fall festivals. Boots, sweaters, hot apple cider and my favorite thing of all is crockpot meals. I use my crockpot all year round but for me my fall and winter recipes taste so much better.
What's something new you are doing for baby?
Yesterday after my midwife appointment, I went and picked up a crib off of Craigslist ($40 including mattress! Was expecting it to be shoddy, but it was in great shape! They needed it out of their apartment!), traded in an old booster seat that a friend donated to us for the Babies R Us Trade-in event. I saved $100 on a new travel system, making it way cheaper than even Amazon. Also set up a registry at BRU It was a big baby prep day!

Ok...the heart rate debate! Baby has been at 152 every time. Everyone says it's a girl. I know these are speculations, but I'm curious: has anyone on this board found some truth in heart rate correlating to the sex??

Fall colors make the BEST backdrops for photos! My scrapbooks are always "Fall-heavy". Tons of orange and brown! I need some inspiration for different color palettes for those hundreds of pages!
