Random, sorry: So I'm 13 weeks and the MS has subsided BUT diarrhea has taken over with a vengeance. I called my doc and he wasn't worried and told me to drink Gatorade, make sure I stay hydrated and just eat simple foods. I've been doing that for 2 days now so I decided to give regular food a try and big mistake! Back to bland foods I guess. How long should I let this go before I call my doc again?
A random thought. I can't stand looking at pictures of people eating, as much as I hate people taking pictures of my while I eat. I find it gross and rude. I was scrolling through Facebook and a friend posted all kinds of pictures of people stuffing their faces at a church luncheon, and then she posted pictures of her hubby gobbling Wendy's chili down- I'm talking mid bite, open mouthed stuff. Drives me nuts
Yes. Also I suffer from not being able to stand smacking or talking with food in your mouth. Drives me absolutely insane. Lol, I taught my kids at a very young age not to do these things (as did my mom with my siblings and I). Just gross.

Omg I am such a *terrible* mother lmao! I divided the birthday cake and gave the girls each a piece, and cut one for myself. The girls were screaming for more but I said no- if I give them more they will be up all night, not to mention the one I caught her feeding her dinner to my dog and wanting just cake. I sneaked out and cut another piece (by now the girls went to Dds room). They came out and caught me. My defense? "The first piece was for me, the second piece is for baby". The have now left me alone lol!

One of our lovely ladies be willing to start a craft thread? It could be crafts for babies, the holidays, scrapbooking.. ect.. I feel like of I do it I am sure to screw it up
I've been bad this week with my prenatal. I forgot to take them once and I think I took them twice on two days. I don't know why I'm forgetting, I've been on metformin and I've been taking prenatals for months so I'm usually very good at it. I guess I'll have to set reminders in my phone!
I keep loosing my prenatal to the toilet. So I'm taking Flintstones hummus until I can handle the prenatals. My dr recommends me to take the prenatals, and she gave me several samples because the have iron, but since they don't stick, I am not worrying
Nearly cried at the thought of trying to sell my cello tonight. I rarely play anymore, but I felt so weird thinking about selling a part of those years of my life just for a little extra space. Maybe the baby will like it when I get all huge and pregnant?
Stupid auto correct... I'll leave it there and see if it makes anyone else smile @2goofykids if it means alot to you, keep it if you can. Your baby will no doubt love listening to you play, who knows, maybe it will help instill a love of music
Yes, I vote keep it! Wouldn't it be great someday to teach him or her to play it? DH studied the upright bass in college and I really wish he still had it. (He does too. In fact, he's been pricing new ones and let's just say now I REALLY wish he had just kept the one he had in college. They're expensive!)
I went to the bathroom and noticed some pink spotting when I wiped. I'm 15 + 3 so I immediately freak- I haven't spotted since 10weeks! After about an hour of panicking I go back to the bathroom and recheck- and got nothing. So I feel around down there and yep sure enough, I was bleeding.
Now I have pretty moderate to severe psoriasis that I have everywhere- elbows, scalp, FACE, ears, back, tummy, ankles, even under my breasts and on my pubic area. Somehow either I was itchy and scratched (which I don't remember doing) or my panties caught it right and it split open and bled. And when I had a bout of discharge (sorry for the tmi) it mixed with it to make it look spotty.
Here is a pic of my elbow so you can see just how bad it is. you can even see where it cracks and can bleed. I just cant use any medicine right now, because its all steroidal stuff. Its all over and it sucks!
@charley15 awwww I'm so sorry. I will say I am glad that you weren't spotting. Is there nothing you can do for relief? Also, I'm sending you hugs >:D<
Thanks I have an appointment to see a new dermatologist but it isn't until October 29th. For now I use coconut oil mixed with tea tree oil, but I can't put it on when it's open because the tea tree oil will make it sting!

Ugh I hate waiting for appointments but I'm glad you're getting to see someone. You will have to keep us updated if you're getting something new to help Be careful and if you need an activity where you're not super active I'm sure there's more than a few of us on here that would love one of those baby blankets!

Well I still have some storage boxes of baby clothes around the perimeter of the room (can't see them here), and I hope they don't open the closet LOL but my parents have a comfy place to sleep now! Just touch-ups in the rest of the house. We will just ignore the mountains of laundry in my room hahaha
I'm finally over the stupid fever/aches and the worst of the nausea. I'm really wanting to do all things fall (cook, decorate, plant mums, yadda yadda), but dang this stupid sofa feels soooooo comfy. I'd love to spend the day tackling my office because I'm so inspired by oceanchild, but that ain't gonna happen. Sigh. I'm so lazy.
I really want to do fall stuff too, but we're going through a heat wave right now and it's be in the upper 80s and lower 90s lately. I hate it! We don't have AC because we live about a mile from the ocean and usually the ocean breezes cool down our place, but not lately. So I haven't been working out at all for the past couple of weeks and my butt is definitely more lumpy than usual...
@oceanchild I have never used the term "amazeballs" in my life, yet that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the pictures of your progress. Seriously, nice work!
@BrooksMommy33 Welcome! What kind of job do you work at? Is it the graveyard shift? And what are you studying for?
@charley15 Ouch! That looks so painful. Can you just put coconut oil without teatree oil on the bleeding parts? I'm sorry you're suffering, but glad it wasn't spotting!
@oceanchild is inspiring many people today I see. I too need to get my ass of the couch and clean up and do work! I'll take this as I sign that I should start!
@charley15 Ouch! Have you tried Eucerin cream? I know everybody is different but since it's a little thicker, I thought maybe it would help to relieve some of the bleeding patches. I hope you can find some relief while you wait for your appointment next month!

Thanks guys I am doing better now lol. and to pass the time a nd rest up a little... I did crochet more today I made a hat! The light doesn't do it justice- it's actually baby yellow but the bedside lamp makes it look bright lemony colored!
@charley15 that is some impressive work! Makes me want to get back into knitting.
I managed to get the upstairs tidy now I just need to do the floors and the bathrooms. I am expecting a house full of people on Wednesday. However, that is for later since we are going to spend the day at my friends farm picking vegetables and berries. We are spoiled!
Alright, guys. Need some support here. DH and I have decided to move from TX to NV to be closer to his family. We've also decided to move in a little over 60 days. I've told both my sisters, and now we have to tell my parents. I fear my mother's disappointment (I always have) and I just need some help figuring out how to tell them. It'll have to be over the phone or Skype since they live in Florida. Any advice? Anyone done something similar?

Are plane tickets cheaper to NV? Maybe you could spin it that way?
I'm hoping my excitement for being back in the desert and starting this awesome new adventure will win them over. They can't be mad forever, right? Especially not with grandbaby #1 in my belly d:
Oh I almost forgot! First appointment is today at 2! Fingers crossed that all is well and hopefully we'll get to see or hear little stormageddon today! Couldn't be any more nervous...
@2goofykids you'll be close to me! I'm in Lake Tahoe, about an hour away. I'm from Reno so if you need any help, let me know! I'm excited to know someone else pregnant in Northern Nevada!
Finally caught up. You ladies were busy this weekend! I'm kind of dreading catching up on the board today. So here's my randoms...
Celebrated DS1's birthday early with extended family this weekend. We'll be at the beach next week for his actual birthday. Almost completely called it off because he was being super bratty - he gets super mean and mouthy when he's sick and a brat replaces my sweet boy. But then he shows his sweet side again and all is forgotten. Parenting a 3-year old is not for the faint of heart.
My poor DS2 was super snotty all weekend and just felt like poop. I'm hoping both boys pop out of it before we leave on vacation.
Speaking of vacation - T-6 days and beach here we come!!!
DS1 - 9/21/11
DS2 - 7/4/14
DS3 - 2/21/16 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our family of 5 is complete!! Love our boys!
I just needed to rant and share that I really don't like the belsomra commercial with the words sleep/wake as pets. I keep thinking that she's really mean to the "dog." She never picks it up or plays with and she's super sweet to the "cat." She picks up the cat, pets it, let's it cuddle on the bed...and the dog gets ignored and sleeps on a doggie bed. Don't like! HAHA!! I realize how absurd it is but it really bother me! Oh man, I'm going crazy!!

This commercial kills me. Yes, I hate what you're saying about it too but the part that absolutely gets me are the side effects. I'm like wth?! Lol but that's with most med commercials.

@kynbar5 ha ha!! At least you pay attention to the side effects. I have no idea what's being said because I'm too busy internally screaming at her, "PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR DOG!" It's official I've lost mind.
@soxfan9968 it's kind of turned into something funny my husband and I enjoy. Wow, saying that out loud makes me feel a little lame lmao. "So, what do y'all do as a couple for fun?" "Well, we really enjoy laughing at the side effects on medicine commercials!" Hahaha

The side effects are seriously worse than the ailment most of the time. The best was there was a gout medication and a side effect was gout. Ummmmm does that mean it's ineffective???

Haha! One of my favorites are those attorney commercials that are suing for whatever went wrong and I crack up when I hear "if you've experienced blah blah blah or death please call" I'm like well, there surely was a better way to word that because if I experience death I'm doing a lot more than suing someone! Lol

To anyone who has multiple likes from me: I spent the past 2 1/2 hours catching up on something like 1,000 posts on this thread!
Why?
1. Intense boredom
2. Longgg night shift
3. Procrastination at it's worst.---- I have two homework assignments due Tuesday that I diligently avoided at all costs.
Additionally I do not want to be one of the crazies that are being picked off by Gif parties!
