DAMN IT PEOPLE now I want coffee but I shattered my cafeteria... (OK it got moldy I didnt want to wash it, so I told DH I broke it and actually broke it to hide that fact... so really its to me to blame... )
UO- I Dont get the need for all this "baby food"... blame it on being a FTM but I was fed milk and then bits and bobs from what my parents had.... likewise all my cousins... (maybe with less seasoning or a "specially" made selection of steamed carrots and diced chicken)..
Aren't babies just little people? shouldn't they eat people food?
One of my best friends started selling these wrap things - I had to unfollow her on Facebook and Instagram because all she does is try to sell that crap to her friends/family. So annoying.
I was selling Advocare- only because I want the 20% discount and the shiz is expensive! And I loved the super yummy energy drink- but now I can't drink it so my selling has fallen by the wayside.
February Siggy Challenge- Post pregnancy indulgences
Yesssss I hate MLM I have used the monkey backpack leash though - my oldest (5 now) used to be a runner - he has autism - it was seriously terrifying. That leash can be a lifesaver! I hate mint flavored anything (esp chocolate mint) unless I'm trying to freshen my breath (gum/toothpaste). Also used to hate the taste of coffee until I weaned myself into it .. Started with cappuccino and flavored creamer and tons of sugar, now I just like a bit of heavy cream and teensy sugar
My UO: I love the bare belly bumpies! IDC what size/shape someone is, I love the sportsbra & briefs pregnancy shots; I think pregnant bellies are so pretty, stretchmarked or not, pale or dark or linea nigra or hairy or whatever! (I do hate the "sexy" ones though - awkward). All the ones I've been taking since 4w are in the same black tank pulled up and black shortshorts, but those are just for me, since I know it weirds some people out.

@MrsPittman13, I have a friend that sells the wraps too. The "it works" brand. It gets so annoying, "join my team and earn ___". The funny thing is that a very small percentage of the people who sell that crap are thin so I am left thinking why would I buy that when you sell it and look the same as before? Another friend I had to block was selling Mca type of insurance but it is a pyramid scheme with horrible reviews. She would post pictures several times a day with her holding a handful of cash trying to get us to join her. Umm, if you are making THAT much money why would you want more competitors? Answer: they aren't, it's a scheme. Grrr.
My UO is that I hate anything mint and especially chocolate with mint like those chocolate mints from olive garden or thin mint cookies. Yuk!
ETA I will eat chocolate and mint all day long and sprinkle some coconut on it and enjoy it with my coffee while wearing my skinny jeans. But I won't try to sell you shit on FB

Baby led weaning is where it's at. We tried some purees at first and my daughter hated them. I hated them, they are disgusting and either taste crazy salty or way too sweet or completely inedible. We just overcooked things like sweet potatoes and noodles so it was a little more mushy and she never had a problem. Plus, it's so much easier. You don't need to sit there and spoon everything in them, they can figure it out and feed themselves some with help!
My UO is that I can't stand hearing "breast is best". There is very little concrete evidence that it makes any marginal difference on intelligence, health, etc. It's something that hits home with me so I'm sure I'm being biased but I really just wish the new slogan would be, "feed your baby, you're doing great!" Because seriously, formula or breast milk, who the hell cares as long as you're taking care of your baby. There is enough shaming as is and it needs to stop.

Breast is more convenient.... One less string to carry since they are attached already...

As a mom who couldn't breast feed and had severe depression because of it, formula was a million times more convenient! Plus, my husband could feed her too. There are pros and cons with both, my point was that either way is great so do whatever works for you and your family. No one should have to feel guilty or inferior.

I've done both. Imo I preferred breast because I'm a sahm and it's convenient. I didn't have to buy or wash bottle or deal with the stinch that sometimes comes from formula. I think it just depends on what works for you and your baby.

Um we don't either and I feel really bad about it but there aren't enough facilities at the apartment we live in so it's not really by choice. I would if I could but I can't so I don't.

If you ever watch Penn & Teller's youtube on recycling, it might change your mind. Plus a lot of trash companies sort through your garbage anyway, so you might be recycling and don't even know it.

I like that they donate a pair when you buy a pair, and since they are made really well I don't mind shelling out a little more for them. Makes me feel at least a little charitable about buying new shoes.
I was reading somewhere that the whole "donate a pair" thing actually really screws up the people they are trying to help, and it's really just helping them get more customers who think they are "helping" … I'll look for the article, but ever since then I have kind of felt differently about that aspect of their business.

red3ye and @oceanchild: My FIL is an alien watcher. This spring I kept having head colds and sinus infections so I had a cat scan of my sinuses. Turns out I don't have frontal sinuses and its very rare...also an alien signature. Now my FIL is nervous around me. Thoughts?
Also the only reason we recycle is because its part of the fee for garbage service and if they are going to charge me I might as well do it.

I hate that I think of UOs throughout the day then forget them before I can post.
Not really a UO but a huge pet peeve. I hate when people who offer you a service say thank you instead of allowing the patron to thank them and saying you're welcome in return. It's like people can't stand saying you're welcome so they want to beat you to the thank you punch.
Leash laws for dogs are important I get that people love their animals like family but I live on an island where we have leash laws not because of the dog but because we are trying to protect your dog. We have 8 to 9 foot gators on our island and while they have never attacked a human we did have 2 dogs attacked because their owners were idiots and let them loose off there leash and they went near a pond, one survived the other unfortunately died. I don't understand why anyone would blantenly let their dogs loose knowing this. We have signs posted everywhere saying keep animals on a leash keep yourself and children away. Now the owner of the dog that died wants the gator killed and I'm bothered by this since it was only doing what it does in nature had they been a responsible owner the dog would still be alive. It's like getting attacked by a shark in the ocean you should know you are in someone else's habitat if your attacked it's more your fault than the animals. Sorry to rant I just don't understand killing something because of someone's stupidity.
