My hair has been falling out in handfuls for the past few weeks. It's like there's a small rodent in the shower drain when I get out. I thought hair became thicker during pregnancy??? Anyone else have this symptom?
Is NOT having any symptoms normal? I get little cramps and twinges of pain every once and a while- no bleeding and I only get nausea when I don't have a little snack with my prenatal vitamins. :-/

Yep. It's normal too. Consider yourself very lucky! I have had it pretty easy myself. I get waves of nausea usually when I have an empty stomach, minor headache and minimal pelvic pressure and fatigue but really, that's it. A lot of ladies have it much worse so I would definitely count your blessings. Maybe the symptoms will come any day so enjoy it while you can!!
Is anyone noticing their morning sickness letting up? If so, at how many weeks? Having all day and night sickness this time. Can't remember from my last when I got some relief.

I am approaching 10 weeks. The past 2 days, I have felt great for the first time in weeks.
I'm 8 weeks tomorrow. I've had consistent mild cramping along with some extremely light spotting. It feels like almost bowel movement cramping, and the spotting is light brownish. I switched OB's after I found out. Two weeks ago I had my second intravaginal ultrasound and the dr said no internal bleeding and a good heartbeat. But, I'm still super scared. especially the "12 week rule!" This is my second pregnancy, I found out with my daughter around 8 weeks.. But that was ten years ago! Yikes I'm freaking out!
I have cyclical morning/all day sickness. On Sat night I start feeling nausea, Sunday all day nausea and no appetite, Monday I'm vomiting all day which lasts until Tues afternoon when I start to feel better. The rest of the week I just have morning sickness but like clockwork every Saturday the cycle starts again. My week does change on Sat so that's the only thing I can think of that causes it. So weird!!! At least I don't have to work on Mondays...
Hey I was curious if anyone is feeling like this? My stomach is so bloated that I already look like I have a "bump" even though I just hit 6 weeks. The skin on my lower abdomen is super tight all the way to my underbust line and its constantly feeling like its being stretched. Also, my belly and nipples are super itchy. Any ideas how to ease the discomfort a bit?
My mouth feels terrible, awful taste, I understand the pickles craving now as I feel like I need to suck a pickles onion to make the taste and feeling go away.

Exactly this. I even asked SO if he noticed how much hair I was shedding lately. It's been ridiculous. I feel like I could be bald by the time the baby comes.
I had really bad all-day sickness from 5w and have been taking Unisom daily since. Now 8w and it's got a little better (or maybe I'm just better at compensating for it!) Still throwing up every 2nd day but the nausea isn't so debilitating. Boobs are also massive and nipples are quite sore, and the fatigue has been epic. By the end of the day I have some serious bloating too. Bring on the second trimester!
This is happening to me too!! I have to snack almost every hour to keep the nausea at bay btwn meals and during the night..and I don't wanna eat or nothing sounds good. I feel your pain!! So sick of eating. I'm a FTM and I sure hope this goes away by the 2nd tri. Hang in there!!
I have terrible motion sickness in the car for the past few weeks if im not the one driving . On the way to our lake house today I had to have DH pull over so I could drive and it didn't help much . It's only an hour drive and here I am on a sunny day laying on the couch trying to get rid of the headache and nausea :-w
I'm 10 weeks pregnant and my symptoms are slowing down. I was always throwing up at all times of the day. It wasn't fun. Especially because as soon as I ate, it would all come back up. Now I'm just experiencing major fatigue and lots of burping as well as minor back pain. I'm hoping this all subsides but the pills for nausea that my doctor prescribed worked wonders for me!!!
This is my first pregnancy and I'm overjoyed. I'm 7 weeks pregnant today. I have been feeling exhausted and icky in the mornings until early evening before it lets up, but thankfully no vomiting so far. My OB is super amazing but also super busy so I'm not able to go in for the first ultrasound until Sep 21 (I'll be a little over 9 weeks) so feeling super anxious to see that Baby is okay.
Headaches were pretty bad around 5-6 weeks but I've noticed they haven't been around as much lately, thank goodness.
In addition to the nausea/tiredness/dizziness, this week my face broke out terribly. Every day it seems to get worse!! It is making me feel so self conscious at work and is seriously worse than the nausea. Moms who have kids, did your acne clear up in the second trimester?
Anyone else suffering from pregnancy induced TMJ? I'm in so much pain on the left side of my face I can't sleep at night and it's causing tremendous headaches, among all of the other symptoms...
I had awful all day sickness for 2 weeks straight, I couldn't even get out of bed.. Now I'm feeling okay (I'm 8 weeks tomorrow) and I'm scared that's a bad sign. Anyone have any insight on the matter?
I don't have pregnancy-induced TMJ but I have had regular TMJ issues and I sympathize. Have you tried Tylenol? Heat to relax the muscles? (In my case, heat to relax the muscles was more helpful than cold to soothe the joints). You may want to inquire about TENS machines, as well. I'm not sure if they are safe during pregnancy and have not used them on my face, but I have read other TMJ people have luck with that (and since it's not a chemical, it could help.) If you're grinding, try getting one of those mouth guards you mold to your mouth. I have had a lot of luck with consciously relaxing my jaw, too. Let us know if you find relief (or hopefully, at the very least, your symptoms will shift away from this trend.)
Anyone else just not hungry? I'm not overly nauseous, for which I feel lucky, I'm just never hungry and when I DH gets me to eat I feel full after a few bites. Trying to make what I do eat be healthy.
SORE BOOBS, heartburn and hot flashes- anyone else??
ALL THREE OF THESE! I feel like I'm going through menopause with how miserably hot I am the last few days - I'm a fairly cold natured person too. Misery!

Sounds like me. I was ravenous around 4-5 weeks but the last two weeks I've had to force myself to eat, and even when I do I'm full almost right away.
Waves of nausea! I was fine at work then I got so nauseous I transferred the call I was on because I couldn't concentrate on my customer anymore. It went away after 15 minutes
Then came back a couple hours later! So bad it's hard to walk
Only 6w3d and I can't believe how huge and sore my boobs already are! After having a breast reduction years ago I've been dreading the growing boobs. Other than that I get the weird cramps that feel like I'm about to get my period about 3 times a day. I'm hungry every 2-3 hours and if I don't eat right away the nausea is horrible...and if I eat too much I feel like complete crap. Slowly but surely I'm finding a balance. Oh, and they weren't joking about fatigue! Never have felt so tired in my life!
Ok guys...sorry in advance for the TMI topic but I'm desperate for relief! So this is my first pregnancy and I'm so constipated I might cry. (no one tells you about this stuff I swear!) I have been using metimucil multiple times a day and stool softener but no relief..I need to poop people!.... Again sorry for TMI...but does anyone have any tips? Thank you in advance!

I actually have a tens unit! I totally had forgotten about the TENS until you mentioned it, I will have to give it a try. I have stayed away from gum as well as overly crunchy foods or big sandwiches, which has helped. Also consciously trying to keep my mouth slightly open helps some. Tylenol doesn't seem to help much, but rubbing essentials oils on my jaw has helped. Thanks for the feedback and the sympathy, it's much appreciated!

I'm truly sorry for the pain you're in as I know how that can be... Drink a TON of water! I know it's basic but the fiber you're taking will make things worse if you aren't fully hydrated.
Also, been pretty damn nauseous myself but fever tree ginger beer and motion sickness pills have been helping. Safe too since I got them from my OB friend.
