However, I was not impressed when they used the cervix opener (no idea what the technical term is), but then the new nurse practitioner couldn't find the swabs. There I am lying on the table, things shoved places that are not exactly comfortable and she is rummaging through drawers and cupboards. It seriously took several minutes! I know that there are going to be plenty of uncomfortable things down there, but c'mon!

Haha! With my daughter one evening I went into L&D to be checked because I thought I was in labor and I actually had a nurse come in, feel around for about 2 minutes (I'm not even exaggerating) and then say "so would you happen to know where your cervix is?" All I could do was look at her... Lol

I stopped going to my last doctor because she did an exam, didn't explain at first why she was digging around and then stopped during the exam and said, "I can't seem find your cervix... oh wait there it is!" Then she laughed. NEVER AGAIN. It was the longest and worst exam of my life.
Fast forward to my exam with my current doctor. The whole exam was done with in a minute and a half. I think it's safe to say I made the right switch.
I wish so much that I could take some NyQuil for this stupid cold!! It's 2015 for crying out loud, when are we going to get some pregnant lady NyQuil up in here?!?
Although I have absolutely no fun guessing a random child's sex and don't get into the predictions, theories, ect. it bugs me when I make a thread for the people who do and they still feel the need to post on other threads asking the same question multiple times. Ugh geeze! I think my ultimate annoyance with this is just that these women post only that one time wanting everyone's opinion and then never reply or post again. Rant over lol.

DD has officially hit the possessive stage. Anytime DH tries to get up on this, even to hug me, DD pushes him away and says, "nooooo!" I kind of love it. It's adorable lol

Hello M16 Mamas! I thought I'd pop in after following the thread from the start, just had been shy about commenting sooner. This go 'round had me a bit nervous but happy to say I've hit 13w, and our NT screen came back looking great! Now just dreading my results from the 3 hour glucose tolerance test, I had GD with DD1. Can't wait to continue this journey with you awesome ladies!
