I thought I had a runny nose last night because DD has a cold. I already planned to wash the bed stuff today, so instead of getting tissue like a civilized human being, I just wiped my nose on the pillow case, blanket, my shirt, etc. It was not a runny nose. It was a nose bleed. It looked like someone had been murdered...
Just so you know, I went into a terrible coughing fit after laughing while reading this aloud to my husband ... And I ain't even mad about it . Thank you for sharing , I laughed because I know this totally could have been me ❤️ hugs for your pain lol

FYI ladies if you have boys, the fart humor starts VERY early. Last night we had a major laugh-fest in our car because my 14-month old started arm farting and then belly laughing. Between my two sons and my husband, ummmmm yeah. Gross but hilarious.

So I don't know who mentioned popsicles on tb but I've been thinking of them ever since. Last night Dh picked me up a big box of them and today... well I'm surrounded by like 6 empty popsicle wrappers. Big deal for me right now since I have trouble keeping things down.
Thanks so much everyone. I want to do something for her but we're not as close as other coworkers since I'm only part time there. Like, do I send a card to her house? I don't know the best way to show or offer support.... I know some have pitched in for gas cards, so maybe I'll get with some folks to get them one. It's a long drive between here and their hospital.
I turn 13 weeks tomorrow, so I fully expect to wake up and magically feel all better. No more fatigue or debilitating nausea. That's how this second trimester stuff works right? Second trimester fairy just waves her magic wand and it's all better. A girl can dream right?
March 2016 Moms: January Siggy Challenge "Pregnancy Problems"
I woke up thinking today was Friday.......what a disappointment....lol.
All that's getting me through today is knowing I have a four day weekend this weekend....so today really is my Friday. I don't mean to rub it in BTW, I'm just so happy.
maybe you could offer to make some meals for her to freeze to take some of that pressure off? That's what we did for a colleague when she got sick, I know she and her family really appreciated it. Gas cards is also a good idea and I think a card can be nice too if that's appropriate between you.

I agree with the weather. Its soo hot here (northern NY- think Canada) and I'm melting in my seat! I have TWO fans blowing on me and I can't cool down. Problem is I'm stuck in my office at work- whenever I try to leave the damn phone rings. It is seriously about 10 degrees cooler out in the hallway.
