Thank you, we are only just measuring 7wks and all other pregnancy symptoms are strong, so trying to remain positive. My next scan is at a different clinic so maybe the equipment will be more sensitive. Thank you for your positive thoughts x
This is my ultrasound from Friday. Mine seems to look different from everyone else's but I was told its measuring 6w4d and HR 115.... Hope heart rate is good ... Really praying for my rainbow baby!!
My appt is on my birthday 8/29 and I'll be 8 weeks. I'll share then!! I read something (not sure if it's true) that says you can determine gender by the placement in the uterus. Top or bottom left is a boy and top or bottom right is a girl. This was the case for my first. I had a m/c in May and had 1 u/s that showed it might have been a girl but I'll never know. Can't wait to see what this one might be
I miscarried at 10 weeks last time due to a blood clot next to the baby and it burst and took the baby with it ... Now a year later I'm pregnant again I have not made an apt yet but will on Monday and I will push for an ultrasound to make sure there are no problems with this one and I can relax .
My OB will do the first ultrasound at 8 weeks - they said they wait til then to be sure we can hear a heartbeat and to measure to make sure the estimated baby age matches the baby size. Can't wait! Love seeing your teeny babies!
Had our first ultrasound this morning - measured a bit behind so I am now due April 3rd (prev. due date March 29). So now I am 8 weeks 2 days instead of 9, but that's okay! Heart rate was 185 and we got to see it beating! So exciting!!
Do you get to have scan early if you lost a baby before ? I misscarried at 6 weeks last time in 2011. Now I am 7 weeks and touch wood all ok but I'm dying for a scan as I don't feel preg even though 100 tests say I am
@carleyodp it depends on your doctor's office. Mine will do early scans with a history of miscarriage, but some only do that with multiple losses, or higher risk moms.
I love seeing all of these and hearing the good news! We had our first ultrasound yesterday. I thought I was around 7w4d but measured at 6w0d. We saw a tiny baby but no heartbeat yet. We go back next week for another ultrasound. Thoughts and prayers for everyone who is still waiting!
Had my first u/s today. We saw the fetal pole but no yolk sac. We could see the flicker of a FHB. We'll be going back in 2 weeks to hear. The heartbeat. The Doctor said that everything looks fine. This is 6w1d
I had both types of ultrasounds yesterday at my first appointment. We were able to see the heart on both, and clearly see baby on both! Heart rate was calculated transvaginally.
Just had my first ultrasound this morning and our little bean made an appearance with an FHB of 121. I thought I was 7w5d but I'm actually 6w4d and have an EDD of April 16, 2016, which is my DH's parents 40th Wedding Anniversary. They are going to be so thrilled! So much happiness and relief right now.
My turn! 7weeks 5days with a beautiful heart beat of 158! Due date of April 8th! I had no clue when I was due, I hadn't had a cycle since Jan due to some health issues. My guess based on when I started noticing symptoms was April 9th so not to shabby.

Just had my first u/s! No pics uploaded yet but all looks healthy and a very strong heartbeat!
I measured 8 weeks and 6 days.
So, so, so relieved to see a great, strong heartbeat.
