I'll be 38 weeks on Halloween and baby #1 came at 37 weeks... I'd love to have him around Halloween ( a couple if days before or after). I love the energy that time of year
I'm due Novemeber 14th and having a really hard time not buying any of the cute Halloween baby clothes stores have already! This is my first and I don't see her coming early.
Halloween is my favorite holiday but I will probably do a simple costume, if anything at all, and hand out candy.
I'm due November 2nd, and my husband is hoping for a Halloween baby. I'm not sure if we'll be up to anything or not (most of the costume suggestions I see when I search are cheesy, IMO, and an Alien bellyburster might be too much effort). If I'm not in the hospital, I will probably just pass out candy.
All I want to do is to be able to go trick or treating with my kids and go to the school Halloween parade, but that's not going to happen considering I am going in for a scheduled repeat csection October 29. I feel like I am ruining their Halloween which is so not true because no matter what someone will take them.

I suggest going after Halloween and getting something 12 months on clearance, that way you can get the cute outfit for next year for a cheaper price.
I'm not due until 11/20 and I have been looking for a great costume as well! I don't want to do the cheesy bun in the oven thing. Why do people keep responding to say that they cant dress up? I thought the topic was to get ideas for those who can? Love love love the minion costume for the baby!
Umm. If you read the OP asks what people plan on doing. Some of us plan on giving birth or recovering from it. If you just want to find cute ideas on what you can dress up as go to Pinterest, don't put down other women on here because your reading comprehension is lacking or we haven't provided you the exact information you want.
Right, because when the OP says "what do you ladies enjoy doing on/for Halloween? We also allow each other to do makeup and costume choices for the other.. He made me darth maul from Star Wars last years haha. What are yall thinking of dressing up as?" she clearly wanted a bunch of people to reply with I'm going to be in the hospital or recovering. If that's true - that's great for you! Congratulations on your addition! But don't come at me talking about reading comprehension when she asked more than what you plan on doing...
At any rate, when I join my stepdaughter at school and take her trick or treating I found some cute ideas for Winnie-the-Pooh, the red Angry Bird and Snoopy that only require a T-shirt! Woot woot!
I'm considering having a few people over for a little Halloween party so I cns have an excuse to wear a cute/funny costume, assuming I don't go early. I'm considering going for Marge Gunderson, the pregnant cop from Fargo. I told DH that if this baby comes on/before Halloween, someone will be sent out to get a damn baby costume. Can you tell it's my favorite holiday?
My DD is Nov 20 so I'm pretty sure I'll be up to doing things for Halloween, plus it's my favorite holiday so if I can do something I'm gonna try. I was thinking of using this baby safe paint and having a good friend help me paint my belly like a jack o lantern for some pre Halloween pregnancy photos bc that's the last holiday I'm assuming we're gonna get before he comes. Then I was thinking maybe doing a simple outfit with crazy makeup and going to a party with a couple of friends ! Like maybe the queen of hearts or a zombie just a thought

We aren't Pinterest. We are all telling OP what we plan to do, same as you. Boy howdyyour first response totally helped the OP with ideas.
In another thread, someone mentioned dressing like a cat, with your belly as a fishbowl. I may do that-- simple and cute, and I can still function at work. Since this is our first, we won't be trick-or-treating, and I don't know of anyone having a party (it's still early), but I still wanna dress up!!
Hopefully I'm having a baby on Halloween! He is due exactly one week later and I was born November 1st, so I hope he comes end of October or on Halloween! If not, I think I'm totally going for my treasure troll costume this year lol
I absolutely love Halloween and typically go to the big parade in NYC. And I'd get bar hop with friends. Seeing as how that is out of the plan, I'll stay in and give out candy. I'll be pregnant wonder woman lol
I'm due 11/6 so I'm probably either going to have a baby or be huge and lazy for Halloween, but if I'm feeling up to it I was tossing around the idea of dressing up as a hobbit since they are known for having big bellies. My husband gave me the idea this morning when I mentioned having "second breakfast".
I'm due November 2nd but will be having the baby a week early due to having a repeat csection! We take the kids trick or treating for halloween, for 7 years now ☺️ It isn't about us anymore.... But we will have a teeny tiny minion this year
DH wants me to paint my stomach like a basketball so that I can be a prop to his Jackie Moon costume haha And I'm pretty sure he is about 70% serious... FML :P
My csection is scheduled for a few days before Halloween so probably recovering and taking care of our new LO. I already have some cute newborn Halloween outfits.
Re: Halloween!!
Sorry, but slutty Halloween anything is a huge pet peeve of mine, and I can just see the bump boards filled with them now.
