Not showing yet at all. I did lose 5 lbs due to MS as well. But my boobs did get a bit larger. I'm kinda hoping not to show closer to 18-20 weeks. This is my second.
I'm almost 12weeks and this doesn't feel like bloat to me! It's as hard as a rock and in already starting to feel flutters! This is my 2nd pregnancy and I'm def showing faster than with the first!
You can "show" early. But it's not the baby, it's the water retention, hormones, bloat, gas, etc. But congrats, you're still showing....something.
Some people on this board seem to get personally offended when this is pointed out. For those of you who say it's just bloat and you can't feel your uterus yet and quote because science...obviously don't understand the multitude of veriables. And saying because science does not mean anything that phrase annoys the cap out of me. I think people take offense at people saying their bump is just bloat "because science", because a complete stranger is telling them they know their body better then they do.(and because hormones) Only time will tell wether what we are feeling right now is uterus or bloat or that piece of chocolate cake we ate for dinner... so please stop quoting "because science" to support your opinion about another's body unless you are going to link a scientific document proving your opinion and disproving thiers. Thank you
People may find it "offensive" that others are saying its bloat, but you know what I find borderline offensive but mostly just annoying? When people claim that they're showing baby at 6 weeks and swear they're feeling movement at 8 weeks because it's their 2+ baby so somehow they have a SUPER baby that's growing faster than anyone else's and their baby has already mastered judo chops in the womb so that's why they can feel it. You aren't growing a superhuman, it's a regular old baby just like mine.

I'm 10wk6days and have a noticeable bloat bump. I was a little worried that I was gaining weight too fast (first pregnancy), so I'm relieved to hear that many others are showing early on! 2nd sonogram tomorrow
I am HUGE. I already look like I'm 4 months... I've heard you show quicker on your second pregnancy & I guess they weren't kidding... Skinny jeans, I miss you already. : /
Second and third (and +++). Yup. Your body definitely remembers it's pregnant state, things pop back very quickly, especially if the previous pregnancy was pretty close to this one. Muscle tone basically sucks. Same with feeling the flutters/bumps/pokes early on. Once you've felt it, you just "know" what it feels like.

The only problem I have with this is that some women actually can feel baby at 8 weeks. What does everyone keep saying? Oh yea, every pregnancy for every woman is different. So whether your showing or feeling earlier than someone else doesn't make it false. Like the pp said. Only you know your body and no one can tell you something different about yourself. Personally I'm on my 6th pregnancy (I have 5 children) and with every one I started showing sooner and I have felt slight movement at 8 weeks. That's just me but I would never tell someone they're wrong in what they're feeling or seeing.

Every pregnancy is different, but there are limits to how "unique" one's experience can be. I was lurking on a TTGP thread the other day, and someone mentioned that her colleague, who is otherwise very intelligent and well-respected, insisted that she could *feel* when the sperm fertilized the egg. Someone who was 4 weeks pregnancy on the April BMB I think it was, said she was already showing. At 4 weeks. Like, at want point is it not okay to call out the BSC?

I guess if there were actually a point to these kinds of threads (the "anyone else showing" or "anyone else feeling movement") then it wouldn't be so annoying. People seem to start these threads to be able to say "look what I'm ALREADY experiencing!" when your raspberry-sized embryo (8wks) is most certainly not kicking to where you can feel it yet.
I'm in favor of keeping this a realistic BMB because it's more enjoyable in the long run when people are real with one another. It's not hurting anyone to claim to show way early per se, but to tell people not to say their piece even if it's scientifically backed up, as another person did, is absolutely absurd. And the fact that others agreed with it is mind boggling

I can't help but compare my own experiences with everyone else's. It's why I'm here...to make myself feel normal.
Except in this case, I'm the odd one out.
11 weeks, totally NOT showing.
I'm 5'7" with long limbs and a medium size torso @ 127lbs.
I'm assuming that it's my thin frame that makes it so that all my clothes still fit me?
My belt has been on the same hole for years! (Is it me or that come out wrong?)
I suppose my organs feel a bit squished nowadays. Like the cat is sitting on my stomach when she's not really there.
And lately, I've been having issues with the dogs snuggling up against my belly, it's like I feel too full to tolerate the cuddling.
But other than that, there's no outward sign of any pregnancy.
And because of all the hormones, this has me in worry mode.
But the MS makes me feel pregnant...that's for sure!
This was me exactly with my first baby! I wasn't showing at all until 19 weeks. I think being taller the baby just doesn't pop as soon. This is baby 3 for me so it's a different story, but I know where you're coming from!
I was dying for a baby bump by then, but was still in all my regular clothes. But after it popped, it reeeeally popped! So everyone is different and every pregnancy is different, so don't sweat it!
Eta: I tried to tag you in it but apparently I don't know how to do that!

Please keep in mind that there may be an almost four week difference between some of us so someone could technically be showing at 12 weeks because the uterus has moved above the pelvic bone at that point

Okay scientifically speaking, Yes a woman who has had previous pregnancies her uterus will expand quicker than your 1st or 2nd. So it is completely normal for a woman like myself to be able to feel and notice the bump. If you pay attention to all of the articles it is not impossible to have your uterus above where another pregnant woman's uterus is. I have had 5 other pregnancies, 4 births. Though the earliest I have felt any of them move is 12-13 weeks. But that is the way my body is, no yours, hers or the next.

This is your first pregnancy. You have absolutely no experience being pregnant, being a mom, birthing a child, etc yet you spend a lot of time telling other women how they should be feeling and thinking like you are an expert. Enough already.
Seriously. One time you posted a bed with a bassinet next to it and suggested someone try that with their baby. Did you put your dog in a bassinet and it worked so you thought you would tell other women what to do with their child?
I'm even going to apologize in advance if this post hurts your feelings. I can't take your expert, but not really an expert, advice on being pregnant.

Ok, I'm unintelligent with a low reading comprehension? Grow up.
I do appreciate how you are "protecting the integrity of the bump" which is a website full of people you don't know but spend all day putting down and telling how to live during their pregnancy.

Did you actually read the post where I posted a bassinet? Your reading comprehension must not be that great, because I said that's what I was planning on trying that while ACKNOWLEDGING the fact that I hadn't used one yet. That had absolutely NOTHING to do with this thread and you're embarrassing yourself by even bringing it up because it's totally unrelated.
An apology isn't necessary because I don't put much stock in your opinion of me. You've already shown your ass on another thread.
People that can't handle opposing opinions, or ya know, reality, don't have to hang out here on the bump. And I don't have to have a kid to understand what's possible and what isn't. Disagreeing with the special snowflakes =/= claiming to be an expert.
Try not to get so butt hurt from message boards.

You're the one that decided to misrepresent what I said in a totally unrelated thread, it was either that or you *truly* didn't get what my post actually said. Either way, it's kinda weird that you remembered that.. Almost like you're keeping tabs on me. It's kinda weird but I'm flattered!
Also, do me a favor. Point out exactly where I told anyone in this thread how to live during their pregnancy, or even where I told someone specifically that they're just fat and don't actually look pregnant. Use that handy quote function and point it out to me.
Don't worry, I'll wait.

In my post that used "the b word" I actually said exactly what you just did. And I didn't say it because I was personally offended. My point was that I couldn't wait for everyone on this board to be past the 12 week mark so some, like you, would stop trying to burst everyone's bubbles. Yes, people can certainly be showing right now...whether it's their uterus, bloat, or organs being squished northward. I just don't get why strangers feel the need to tell someone it must be bloat. On the flip side, I agree that if it's bloat don't be bummed; you're still showing that you're pregnant.

I'm probably not showing, I'm almost 9 weeks and just feel super bloated and chubby. But I am wondering something... My lower abdomen/stomach is rock hard (below my belly button)- is that the uterus I'm feeling? Clearly a FTM here, I have my first us on Monday
Well, I started to pop out... I'm 11 weeks and my lower belly will not suck in and is hard as a rock. My belly button is already going flat too! I thought it was all in my head till my husband commented on it the other night. This is my 3rd pregnancy, so I guess that explains why the belly came sooner. I was kinda hoping it wouldn't be as noticeable till week 14-15, but oh well - time to pull out the maternity pants
So I have started to show.. but there are a few factors: 1) I am Due March 2nd so I am on the early end 2) I literally have no torso- like less than 2" between my hip bone and rib caage.. so basically before pregnancy I was a big set of tits on long legs... I also have no hips so I dunno where this baby is gonna come out 3)I have not gained any weight but I have went from 38DD to 40E and also DROPPED a pants size....
I wouldn't call it a perfect baby bump... more of a rounded muffin top which is a combination of bload and baby... its squishy around the sides are getting harder in the middle
So yes I blame it on the baby, if I was a different body shape maybe I would have a cute little bump instead of the bloated muffin... but I know for sure this is not all bloat (thanks to IBS and gluten I am well aware of where I carry that)
Now I am going to go back to my breakfast... a sleeve of oreos (I cheated last night and have been craving oreos so figured if I was going to go through intestinal hate today I may as well get my moneys worth) and a cup of coffee
A rugby playing scientist and educator who is looking to solve metabolic and age related diseases through research
I'm 11 weeks today, woop woop! I'm starting to get a small bump, it's all between my hip bones and just looks like I'm about to pee my pants lol. Whether it be uterus, gas or just plain boat... it doesn't matter. It's all due to being pregnant. So, yes! I'm starting to "show".
The original question was if anyone was showing yet, it was a question for individuals about themselvesssss. It would be nice if people could just say yes, no or nothing at all. I find it extremely rude to tell someone they are wrong about what they are feeling with their own body. If you don't agree, fine, you don't have to. It's none of your business, and will not affect the rest of your day to just ignore it like an adult.
I'm 11 weeks and one day and I am showing. My first pregnancy and I am 6'2 and overweight. My boobs also already gre a size and a half. I could get away wearing b's and c's but now I wear d's and Dd lol. And boy are they soooore. This app says my baby is the size of a lime.
It took one visit to this "community" to realize that it is not one I want to be a part of. Best of luck with your bickering.. Sheesh!
Just ignore the people who are being negative. believe me it doesn't get better on other boards there will always be people with a different opinion that they feel everyone has to accept. this board is actually a lot better than the one I came from. there will always be drama its what you do with it that makes this community nurturing or negative.
I'm 11 weeks today and starting middle of last week I've had a belly pop! I know it's mostly bloat, and I've been ridiculously constipated so I'm sure half of the bump is poop haha! Either way, it certainly looks & feels different than my normal "food baby" pudgy belly! I'm not the only first timer who's stuck my belly way out to see how it'll look in a few months, right?!
Yes ,! I was 50 kg 5'5 . And had a flat stomach and barely had fat . I struggled to put weight on . I haven't had a flat stomach since I was about 7 weeks . At my midwife appointment at 8 weeks I had put on 7 kg tomorrow at my 11 weeks midwife appointment I'll find out how much more I have put on . Feels good to be
Only 10 weeks so I'm fairly certain I'm not showing. I do look a little like I have had a weekend of binging on cookies though. My pants that haven't previously felt snug or slid below my belly are now acting a fool but I'm pretty sure it's just because of bloating. Total hot stuff over here, lemme tell you.

Now I am going to go back to my breakfast... a sleeve of oreos (I cheated last night and have been craving oreos so figured if I was going to go through intestinal hate today I may as well get my moneys worth) and a cup of coffee
Just ignore the people who are being negative. believe me it doesn't get better on other boards there will always be people with a different opinion that they feel everyone has to accept. this board is actually a lot better than the one I came from. there will always be drama its what you do with it that makes this community nurturing or negative.

Edit bc the bump ate half my post
