If the rule of conception suddenly changed and your husband/SO found out it was him that had to temp, chart, take prenatals, check ball position and ultimately carry, what would be the first sentence you think he would say?

I kinda wish there was something we could do to ensure thing's were working on his end.... without expensive tests. Though I suppose his tests aren't that expensive.

I don't really know, at first I think he would say "let's just see what happens", but I think then he would research and would pick just one way to find the FW and just do that. He would come up with some argument on how that is all you have to do and would be confident it would take 2 months, maybe three.

I'm pretty sure that before I told him so, he didn't realize that you can only get pregnant a few days out of the month, and even then, it's a slim chance! I think he thought there were days where you'd DEFINITELY get pregnant and days where it was more difficult. I've been telling him about the process, little by little as we go along.

If the shoe were on the other foot, I think he'd just say "let's just have lots of sex and let it happen naturally."

There would be no temping, charting or any of that. I'm sure I'd get the same "let's just have lots of sex and see how it goes" type comments. As far as carrying the baby, he would do it but OMG would I hear about every ache or pain.

I've seen the man get a papercut and that reaction is not pretty so I can't even imagine what childbirth would be like. 8-|

Haha @CherylAnn789 my husband made spreadsheets for our wedding also. As much as I thought he was going overboard, it's what really kept me sane through wedding planning.

Initially mine would say, "let's just have sex every day of the month", but then his engineering side would come out and he'd create an intense spreadsheet. Even our vacations have spreadsheets.

He definitely would not do any charting, he's a doer but more of a lets get this done and move to the next thing type lol. That would all seem too meticulous to him. Although he has showed interest in my charting so that's always nice

DH would do whatever. He didn't even baulk at getting a SA.

But he would however annoy the shit out of me by constantly referring to what he's "googled" & no amount of anything would convince him otherwise.
