I think my DH would do exactly what I do now. He'd be all over the internet trying to find a balanced answer and when he felt he found some sense then he'd run with that. I do think he would get very stressed about the amount of time it takes and would fret that something was "wrong".
When we TTC in 2012 he didn't really get why I was so into it. This time around I think he gets it and supports me taking whatever steps I need to in order to feel good about the process.
"What other data can I collect on this topic? Can I enter it into my own spreadsheet that I've personally coded so I can track fertility as a function of a number of different variables? I'll save it on my computer next to all the other data sets I have, like the ones on fuel economy of our cars and the energy efficiency of our house."
And then...
"From what I've read, we should BD ED to maximize our chances. So I'd still like to collect all this data, and we should also DTD as often as possible to maximize positive outcomes."

@vinerie We must be married to the same man. My husband has an obsession with Excel.
"We don't need that FF app, let me create something much more elaborate than that" because he too is a computer nerd. You should have seen his spreadsheets for our wedding!

It's crazy! For instance, every time my husband fills up the gas tank, he writes down the amount, the cost per gallon, the total amount, the fuel economy of the last tank (hybrids will tell you this). Later he enters it into his excel sheet (that goes back longer than a decade!) Anyhow he periodically calls me in to look at some new finding--like how the time of the year effects fuel economy, or the new tires, or something else. He's s scientist, so I suppose he's in the right profession!
No way would my DH do any charting, temping, etc. I can't even get him to take his daily supplements to help w/ motility. He says "it hurts my throat to swallow them" Like seriously? Do you know what I go through?
He usually says "Why are you doing all this to yourself? Let's just adopt a 3 year old?" (he wants to pass right through diapers, staying up late nights, etc)

"You mean I have to go all this... everyday..." "I am pretty sure Adam and eve didn't have to go all this crap" "why must it be so hard to get pregnant"
Re: GTKY- if your husband/SO had to....
That's how that would go. 8-}
