I have mine scheduled for Sept. 24th. I'm so excited just to make sure everything is growing and developing the way it should be. I'm always a bit nervous until i have this appointment for some reason. We are also Team Green and it's going to be wonderful
Sept. 17th. Seems so far away but at least I have a countdown until we can see our LO. We are going team green but I'm still excited to see our LO and ensure all looks well. Plus DD and DS will be in the room to watch and I cannot wait to see them watcher their sibling.
Anyone else have theirs scheduled too? Hoping the next 5 weeks go by fast!
Ours is scheduled for September 17th too!!! We're so excited to hopefully find out the sex of our little Zinski!
We are September 24th as well... we haven't decided if we are finding out the sex of the baby.
Don't do it! Seriously, it is one of the most amazing moments of your life....or at least it was for me! lol Such a wonderful moment and then you get to tell everyone in the waiting room, or DH does. We made everyone wait until they came into the delivery room, a few at a time, so we both were able to see our family's reactions.
Level 2 ultrasound set for sept 28th (day before our wedding anniversary) and our 4 year old son will get to see. That's when I believe it will finally be real for him. Soooo excited.
We go September 17th. Unfortunately can't take our daughter because we have a fetal echo in the morning and then the anatomy scan 4 hours later and it's just going to be too much to take her. I'm pretty bummed because she loved watching the baby moving all around when we went for the NT. it's also two days before her birthday and I'm hoping that no matter the news we get I can enjoy her birthday (we go away for her birthday) and her party the following weekend.
Mine is schedule for Sept 8. I thought it was so amazing seeing all the things they can see (sex organs and other). Like being able to tell if the great vessels of the heart were in the correct place, how many veins you have in your placenta, the different ventricles of the heart, the separation of the cerebrum and the cerebellum...it was insane. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all kinds of things on my son. Finding out he was a boy was just the bonus that we wanted (not team green, but team withholding baby name until I get to present baby).
Went to the Doctor today and she just used the doppler. Baby is doing great! HB was 155. We scheduled the anatomy scan for Sept 1st! They will do it from 18-20 weeks.
Mine is scheduled September 30th... It seems sooooo far away ( I just want to see this cute little thing again... I am considering going in for an elective sooner, but my bf thinks it's crazy and doesn't support the idea (
@inomniaparatus That's strange! My brother had a heart defect but I'm pretty sure I'm only having the one anatomy scan. I'll be scheduled for mine at my 16 week appointment September 2nd and I'll just be doing the more in depth scan as my anatomy scan.
Yea I thought a cousin was too distant of a relation too. But, with a brother, I'm surprised they aren't having you checked early. I'm not considered high risk at all either and my NT scan came back as the lowest risk possible. I'm not worried- but I'll take the extra scan
My brother and dad were both born with non-life threatening heart defects. We are doing to A/S at the normal time and will follow up with a fetal echo.
When I made my appointment last month I was thinking, "I have over two months to go, this is going to take forever!" but it's going by really fast! It's crazy to think it's only a few weeks away now.
