Anatomy Scan Scheduled!

Sept. 17th.  Seems so far away but at least I have a countdown until we can see our LO.  We are going team green but I'm still excited to see our LO and ensure all looks well.  Plus DD and DS will be in the room to watch and I cannot wait to see them watcher their sibling.

Anyone else have theirs scheduled too?  Hoping the next 5 weeks go by fast!

We don't have ours scheduled yet, but that's my dad's birthday! I think we schedule it at our next appointment on the 25th. The 17th is the earliest day we can schedule and have 4 weeks to get it done I guess. Sooner the better though!

I probably would have if my 12 week appt. didn't get rescheduled last week - so now I am going in on Wed. for an ultrasound and check-up and should schedule it then, I am guessing it'll be the 3rd week in Sept.!

I want mine on sept 18th! But I haven't booked it yet. I'll book it at my appt on Friday, hopefully that date is available, it's the earliest I can do it and I can't wait!

We booked ours for September 23rd. That was the earliest they could get us in. There is a baby boom in our city! Over 25000 babies born last year alone!

Ours is September 29th! It seems wayyyy too far away, especially since we didn't get to have an NT scan done. I just wanna see baby again!

Me either. I do have my 12 week Thursday but I already know if it's even an option we can't book between the 13-18 because h is out of town. I would only be 16 weeks anyways

I have my 13 week general check up (no labs or scans) on thursday afternoon. I assume Ill schedule my anatomy scan from there. It always makes me nervous, just wanting to make sure everything is all good and healthy AND we are still team green.

Aug. 18th (16 weeks for an early anatomy scan because I had a cousin born with a heart defect)

Hoping we can find out sex then

And then we have another on Sept. 10th (at 19w 2d)

Sept 21st here!! I scheduled it at 7pm so DH wouldn't have to take work off but now I realized that was stupid cause its gonna be torturous waiting all day for it!

We arent finding out the sex of the baby until birth. We wont be Team Blue or Team Pink until birth so until then, we are Team Green.

@inomniaparatus That's strange! My brother had a heart defect but I'm pretty sure I'm only having the one anatomy scan. I'll be scheduled for mine at my 16 week appointment September 2nd and I'll just be doing the more in depth scan as my anatomy scan.

I don't get to schedule mine till my next appt, Sept 2. I'll be 18 weeks so I hope I can get in quickly because there are a couple mom to moms sales I want to go to in Sept.

Yea I thought a cousin was too distant of a relation too. But, with a brother, I'm surprised they aren't having you checked early. I'm not considered high risk at all either and my NT scan came back as the lowest risk possible. I'm not worried- but I'll take the extra scan

I have a apt the 18th of this month but my ob said nothing about it being an anatomy scan. So I think it's just a regular check up.

Nothing scheduled yet, but I'm guessing the anatomy scan will be around Sep 22, since they keep doing 4 week intervals even though by that point I will be almost 21 weeks. I think we are doing an elective US sometime in August. I can't wait that long to see the gummy bear, we haven't seen it since June 29th.

Probably around the end of Sept/Beg of October, not that far yet! We did schedule the ultrasound that will tell us the sex for Sept 8, I'll be a day shy of 17 weeks! Can't wait!

Nothing is scheduled yet, but I'm moving out of state at the end of the month and hoping to have it done before I start my new position. I'm transferring within the same company and still have my insurance. Fx I don't have to take time off in the first week or two for the appointment.

I have an appt scheduled next week. They gave me the option of having an elective U/S. We havent decided if we are going to do it or not. I will be a day shy of 16 weeks. Is the anatomy scan normally done at 18-20 weeks?

Yes anatomy scans are typically done at your 20 week appointment.

Mine will be around Sept 24th-ish I'm guessing.

OB says she'll schedule it after this next appointment, and it will be in Sept. as well. Assuming we have no issues it will be our only u/s.

I go in at 15 weeks, and I'm thinking about calling ahead and finding out if I can find out the sex or see if they'll delay the appointment a week or so, because my doctor is about an hour from my house and two hours from my work. My appointment is scheduled late in the day, though and I'm pretty sure the US tech leaves before my appointment begins.

August 28th here - just at 16 weeks.  I am so excited to our LO again!

I asked about it today at my checkup, but I guess it's too early to schedule. Luckily, my doctor's office does an u/s at every visit, so I get to see the little one a bunch! Plus, at my NT screening, the tech was almost positive it was a boy!
