What kills me is when people post pictures of their babies on FB directly after being born...umbilical cord in tact, body fluids everywhere. I understand if you want these for your personal records but the internet??? That poor kid does a search of their name 20 years later and bam... there it is! Plus I really don't want to see it. BLEH

I'm Waaay late to the party but my UO is that I still think Tom Cruise is dreamy. True Story. I know most people find him crazy pants these days but he could rub my feet anytime. Ahem. Just saying.
I have never had Chipotle so I have no opinion on that. What I will say is... The best Mexican (New Mexican) food is homemade and with that said... I am spoiled!! Yum yum. Growing up in NM and being married to a native NMan has gifted us with quite the menu. Green chili cheese fries, green chili chicken enchiladas, red chili cheese enchiladas, homemade beans, frito pies, stuffed sopapillas, breakfast borritos... the list goes on. Now only if my heartburn would stop!

Unlike most who praise western medicine, having done extensive research to what corporations like big pharma set as their priority (profit at the cost of human life) I don't plant on vaccinating my baby. And if it's a boy definitely no circumssision. I go out of my way to eat organic and build a healthy immune system. If vaccines work for u great! There's more harm in eating meat with dangerous amounts of antibiotics (due to filthy conditions), hormones and GMO's. That literally alters DNA.
I personally blame anyone who does not vaccinate their kids for the eventuality I will get whooping cough. I have only been partially vaccinated for this because I had a severe allergic reaction as a baby. I was told as a child I'd be fine, since everyone else was vaccinated no one would get it. But more and more people aren't vaccinating their kids, more and more people are getting the disease, and I know it's coming for me.

That's anecdotal evidence and not indicative of the overall benefit of vaccines for the entire population. Vaccines save lives.
I didn't say don't get vacc I was just commenting on the fact that she said she blames people who don't vacc their kids if they get whooping cough. I just was responding you can still get disease even if vaccinated. If you open the whole quoted thread you will see what I was responding to.
i was all about nursing covers until i had my own nurslings. eff that stupid mess, dude. if it works for you and your kid, great, but DID NOT WORK for us. also, still nursing a 4yo and a 17mo, and i will do it in public whenever necessary (it is very rarely necessary for the 4yo now of course), but even without a cover, nobody ever sees my nipple.
so late here, but my UO: if you want to sound smart on a forum (for instance, trying to sway someone's opinion in a hot debate about something like vaccines) please for the love of all that is holy, TYPE OUT THE WORD "YOU!" i get it; i quite often abbreviate the word "because" to "bc" and i probably shouldn't, but "you?" It makes "u" look unintelligent. And then i struggle to read the rest of your drivel over my eyerolling.
also, do not tell me how "Autism is serious." i live with it every day. we delayed immunizations for a little while (stopped at 15m because his pediatrician advised it), but now at 5y, he has just caught up on everything and is doing better than ever. i was always on the fence about vaccines, but after *extensive* research on both sides, i feel confident about our decision to vaccinate our kids.
