So these preggo hormones are sending me fairly squiffy!! I now can't stand the smell of cake baking!! It's so bad! What odd things can't you stand since finding out?
Last pregnancy it was cooked chicken early on. Then later it was Chinese food. It got so bad my MIL bought a bunch of takeout on her way to our house, and I made her leave it in her car.
This time I'm getting squeamish over weird things. Today, it was sausage. I'm really hoping I don't develop the Chinese food aversion again...
Depends on the day its something different everyday I was loving cheese & tomato on toast until last week now I can't stand it & I am normally a huge coffee lover & just the thought of it now turns my stomach :-&
I couldn't eat chicken with both of my sons and the aversion stayed even after I had them. Now that I'm pregnant again I'm not having any issues with chicken so my husband swears we are having a girl since its been over 9 years that I hadn't eaten chicken yet today I had to have some.
where do I start? everything is off putting but I force myself to eat. can't even smell decaf coffee and have no interest in sweets... i almost gagged making my DD beans for lunch... it smelled like dog food to me. just opening the fridge UGH! I bought extra baking soda to absorb odors...
The first few weeks I craved vegetables and grilled chicken and tilapia but now at week 8 it seems I have an aversion to my whole kitchen. I can't walk through it without gagging. When I'm hungry I have to have my DH make me something otherwise I can't eat. I'm a FTM and everyone tells me that it gets better. I sure hope so cause I LOVE yummy foods but nothings yummy these days.
I can only eat what appeals to me at that minute. .a few minutes later I may not want it lol. . And I can only drink really cold ice water otherwise I can't drink water now..makes me nauseous. ..so weird. And I love water normally!
Chinese food and brocolli...cannot stand to think of them! I don't think anything sounds good but then this morning texted my husband that I was craving Pillsbury cinnamon rolls...super specific I know!
Peanut Butter... I normally LOVE peanut butter, but the thought of it coating my mouth makes my throat tighten. Even typing this is making me nauseous...so thanks OP.
Pretty much anything that isn't grilled cheese and tomato soup makes me barf. My husband is a chef in training and about to lose his mind with the same request for food every day.

This is me this morning.......normally I love eggs toast and organic bacon........today the thought of them makes me want to hurl......but Tomatoe soup with a little cheese was PERFECT.
Thankfully I am so stuffy ALL THE TIME that I can't really smell much, otherwise I am sure I wouldn't like anything right now...
Pretty much everything I can keep crackers gatorade and usually a couple small things down but everything makes me feel awful. Even just looking at it. Bleck lol
Bbq chicken :-/ DH brought some home from work one night and when i opened the fridge the next morning that's all i could smell and it was soo awful i threw up.
February Siggy Challenge- Post pregnancy indulgences
Pretty much anything, but the three biggest triggers for me right now are: Salad dressings...any kind. Fried Rice (even typing that my throat is closing up!) :-&
Beef. It's all I wanted for the first two weeks and now just the thought of it makes me gag. I'm also having a hard time with water which is really horrible for me because I was an avid water drinker.
The texture of chicken breast! It turns me off so much I want to cry. I took a meat mallet and pounded those suckers super thin and was able to tolerate them.
Coffee (I used to be a 4 cup a day junkie), anything sweet - chocolate, watermelon, bananas. I love all those things normally. I cannot stand anything sweet with meat (bbq sauce, teriyaki sauce, etc.) and any type of cake or dessert. Ice cream. Yuck. Shrimp. Cereal and granola. I also can't stand any vegetables now. I'm a very healthy eater and we grow tons of our own veggies. I love veggies and fruit and fish, but not when I'm preggo. Oy.........
I told my husband I need things bland like baked potato and sour cream with salt, or smoked salmon with avocado, or a very sour granny smith apple, or a plain full fat yogurt with some walnuts. Those don't seem at all bad, until I eat too much of course. Even crackers make me nauseous. Water, unless it's mineral water. I live on san pellegrinos and probiotic kevita drinks now.
I'm not a coffee drinker but I have to make it at work and I gag the whole time! I never used to mind the smell but now it's the worst thing evar and even thinking about it right now is turning my stomach.
