I have my appointment on Thursday and I'm kind of bummed because the nurse I spoke to today said they use a doppler to try and find the heartbeat... but I will be 8w 6d... they won't be able to find it or at least that's what I'm finding online... anybody here have thus experience before?
First sono this morning measuring 8w6d right on track with a Bpm of 163. Such a relief to see a heart beat and a wiggling babe after a miscarriage last January. EDD 23 feb
Baby's first picture! And super close to our original expected due date. Thought I was at 8w6days, baby measured 8w4days. Steady HB 167. I was a little disappointed it's not twins, but we're probably better just starting with one Haha.
Had another US today. Baby is measuring at 8wks and two days. So excited to see my little human grow and to hear their heartbeat along the journey. I go back for another US in two weeks. I don't want to wait that long!
I just wanted to post an updated U/S pic. I totally forgot about this thread and started a new one. My bad Pregnancy Brain I tell ya! This is my Gummy Bear at 11w4d. Heart rate was 166, and so far he/she was an active baby and growing!
Here's my little one at 8 weeks and five days. Baby is due 3 Feb. I'll be getting another ultrasound on Friday. A little nervous cause I had a miscarriage in Dec and it was around 9 weeks. Hoping everything is fine with this one
Had my first US 6/19 and measured 6wks0days. Baby is expected around Feb. 12! First baby. Next US 8/6... we are so excited to be able to see the shape of a baby this time instead of just a sac. Heart rate was 111!
Had an ultrasound today due to spotting. Little one was waving around and wiggling like crazy. Heartbeat was 157 bpm. Could not get over his/her long arms and legs and how defined the fingers are--at one point DH said--"look, they're giving us a thumbs up" First we have the "profile" type shot...and then the other is a little...strange. DH says s/he looks like Nacho Libre LOL
Had an ultrasound today and I am so relieved! Measured 10 weeks. This is actually my 3rd ultrasound. I had my pregnancy confirmed at my regular doctor and since I was a little unsure about the timing of my last period she ordered an ultrasound (it was a week early which has never happened to me before and it was much lighter than normal). I was only 4 weeks +3 so there was only a gestational sac. No yolk sac and no fetal pole. The problem was, nobody explained to me that this was totally normal for how far along I was. My doctor was on vacation so another doctor told me I need to follow up with an OB right away. At the OB a week later there was a yolk sac but no baby. My OB said this is totally normal and everything is on track, but in the back of my mind I've been worried there was still no baby. I have apparently been really lucky to have mild pregnancy symptoms which only made me worry more that something was wrong. But today we got to see a baby with a heart beat of 175 BPM! So excited and so relieved that everything is ok!
They gave us a bag of prenatal samples today but I wasn't expecting there to be the cutest little binky in there. We both totally teared up when we found it.
Had my first ultrasound today at 10 weeks. After having a large fibroid and a miscarriage, I was very excited about having an ultrasound that actually shows a baby. However, after the initial happiness of seeing the ultrasound and the fun of telling my family, I am still having a hard time being excited about being pregnant. Trying not to over think things.
Taken at 7w4d, doesn't look like much now but I know he/she has already changed so much and I am already in love (: we're due 02/29! Wouldn't it just be awesome having a leap year baby!
I had my ultrasound a week ago today and the heartbeat was 170. I had my fingers crossed most of the time that it was twins but then had them crossed just hoping that the baby was healthy. I can't wait for my next ultrasound!
1st ultrasound today, thought I was 11w3d turns out I'm a week ahead at 12w2d! EDD is 2/1! It feels real now and we can finally share our news
ETA: Those of you sharing ultrasound pictures, you may want to be careful of allowing your name to show. I've seen some with full names, unless you don't mind. Just thought I'd mention it, there's some crazy people on the internet.
Ah! Congrats to all! The wait is terrible, I'm not scheduled until the 30th for US. I know by dates I'm 11 weeks today but certainly prepared to be less. Although seeing those sweet 12 week profiles is precious!
12+1 ultrasound. Much cuter than my 7 week one, little legs kicking and all... Had to do some star jumps in the hospital to get LO in a different position ha ha. We are so in love
So excited! My husband and I had a miscarriage last year .. So when we saw this little guy ( I say guy because I think it's a boy) we were so excited! We even saw his heartbeat and he did a little dance for us!! 8 weeks 6 days
Not sure if u have heard of the Ramzi theory but looking a your baby's position I think this might be a girl
