I probably know why you chose that name. Was it off a TV Show called Scrubs or something? One of the nurses name was Elliot. I didn't like it at first but after watching the show I got used to the cast members calling a female Elliot. It doesn't bother me like some people but I wouldn't put the name on a girl.

I know it's wrong and I couldn't ever actually name my girl Elliot - but it's a definite guilty pleasure name that I think is really great.
