I'd rather sweat my ass off than have to break out a winter coat. I hate wearing layers. Layers suffocate me. Don't get me started on turtlenecks.

I think baby shoes are amazing even if the baby can't walk. If my baby is outside, he/she will be wearing shoes. None of that footie pajama stuff or just socks. Even if they are totally useless.

I would not want to be famous either. I actually lived a pretty rich life with my ex-husband and now I am struggling to get by half the time but wouldn't change it for the world!!! My ex's family are millionaires and live that oh so fabulous life we all think is so great. Well let me tell you that it isn't all that great at all!! I lived in a very large house with fancy cars and was able to do whatever I wanted. Along with wealth came the power that my ex thought he had. He was in "control" and thought it was ok to have a mistress on the side b/c he thought he could. He thought he was entitled to it all. I was depressed, walked all over, and felt trapped with all the money and what comes along with it. Would never want to be that rich again...ever! I wish I was a little more comfortable but never want to go back to that lifestyle. Met so many other "rich wives" that all look like they are living wonderful but inside are falling apart. Many were alcoholics, suffered severe depression and some even tried to kill themselves. No thank you!!

Not saying ALL rich people live this way obviously but from my experience more money, more problems!!

A UO of mine- I have no problem wearing fur coats. I know, I know, it's cruel and I shouldn't, but I live in Boston and it's very cold here! I'm allergic to down and no matter how much I justify it, I'm going to be flamed for this one.

I would rather freeze my nips off than have swamp ass. I cannot stand heat. I get so incredibly cranky!

My UO: I don't think my kids NEED their own personal cell phones. We have 2 cell phones that all of my kids share (ages 9, 10, 11, & 12.) They only have access to the phones when they are away from home and may need to call dh or I. In fact the phones can only call me, dh, and a few other people that are our emergency back-ups. It is unlikely that we will ever provide individual phones for our children, even when they are in high school. They have access to our home phone to call friends. I'm tired of hearing from other kids' parents (mostly my 12yo daughter's friends' parents) that I am in someway harming my kids by not getting them cell phones.

I have no issue with parents that do give their children cell phones- I just don't think it is necessary for my kids.

@magburt I'm the same way, I hate coats! What makes it worse is I hate using heat! Heating is always too hot and too dry!

@BostonBaby1 Parsley is ok but I don't think it adds much to a dish. I love sage, basil, thyme, garlic, red pepper, and all the other herbs and spices. Cilantro just ruins everything. Apparently it is genetic (thank you @taysun

Okay, I've been holding onto this one... I hate how any picture you post of yourself is now called a selfie!!! It just infuriates me. The definition of a selfie is a picture you take of yourself....so if my friend takes a picture of me with my sister, for example, that is NOT a selfie of me and my sister. Also, if me and my husband are out somewhere and no one can take the picture for us, and I stick my arm out to take one of the two of us, to me that is not a SELFIE because I'm not the only one in the picture. Just drives me crazy how people took that phrase and now every pic you are in is called a selfie. UGH!

UO/confession is that I think there are a lot of ugly babies and I have flat out lied to people's faces about how cute their kid is. Because of this I'm actually hoping when people say how cute my baby is they won't be lying!

@Catherine1021 This sounds like a really good idea! I don't like the thought of kids with cell phones. I don't have any kids yet, but I was trying to think of a way for them to contact in an emergency and having a 'house' cell phone sounds good.

Um yes! It's gross! I became the OCD mom when at a park this snotty, drooly kid grabbed my daughter's doll stroller. I had to wipe it down clean before i let her touch it again. If i could use a hose i would.

I think very few newborns are cute. Most look like wrinkly old men. Mine included (and she was 5lbs when she was born so super tiny). She didn't get cute till at least 5 months or so, and today she's the cutest thing ever (not that I'm biased or anything).

Do you know that 20% of people's genes make cilantro taste like soap or metal? There's a scent in cilantro that makes your body trigger it to taste like a fragrance/soap rather than the actual taste of it.

YES! Kids other than our nieces and nephews creep me out and are gross!
And they're mostly rude! So many parents allow their kids do almost anything in public nowadays..... saying that makes me feel old.

Are you seriously reading my mind, I was going to tell @magburt that it is parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. BUT... you have to sing it in order for it to be effective. Also, it helps to sprinkle some cinnamon on it.

I walked into a presentation our campus ambassadors were giving freshman in high school about our campus and every one of them were on their phone. I remember barely having a phone in high school and only being limited to 50 texts a month.

I had a PAGER in high school...haha! Now I feel old!! It was a super cool pager though...it was clear and lit up different colors.

I'm totally with you on this. And I'll take it even a step further to say, I don't really like *many* other kids besides my own. Most of them annoy me.
