@monaclemere ok your response cleared it up a bit and I see you meant slightly different than how I read. But I still agree with @taysun on the importance of education. Ignorance is never bliss. It'd be nice if we could educate those who only use the wrong term out of ignorance (which definitely some do) without it becoming a fight with the same pros and cons every time. I don't mind reading "here is the difference between sex and gender... And this is why it's important..." The arguments that ensue after the initial response are what get old real quick thanks for clearing up what you meant so this doesn't turn into one of those arguments!
Eta: I did see your response to taysun, posted while I was typing
I dislike most condiments, so I can get on board with the minority here.
When I go on vacation to tropical places, I don't want to do excursions. I want to lay on the beach and eat the entire trip. That is very UO amongst my friends and colleagues.
@erikaalzet I can 100% relate to you on this! I feel like any time I end up on a trip with people other than my husband, each day is filled with dozens of plans. When I go on a trip I want to RELAX! It's fine to do a couple of excursions but when you have an hourly schedule for 5 full days, you need to relax lol
Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE planner in my everyday life but when it comes to vacation, I've learned to let my hair down, so to speak.
Apparently being outspoken is frowned upon amongst some on this BMB. I absolutely think it's wonderful when we get to hear from women that don't post all the time. I know that I've truly enjoyed the past few days on this BMB. But, I happened to be in the more outspoken camp. There are people that don't like it. But so long as I follow TOU and am not prohibiting anybody else's enjoyment of the site, my UO is:
Oh, and speaking about food… Has anybody else tried Trader Joe's cheesecake bites with cookie butter? I seriously cannot even explain the deliciousness.

Right? Also, the last few days I've noticed more new names posting and getting involved and there has been no drama from it! It's been amazing to get new opinions and outlooks from women who are polite and respectful. And it seems most of them have stuck around.

Agreed! It has been amazing. Plus, I'm laughing so much more than I was before. ❤️❤️❤️ u!
Another food UO: I'm in the grocery store parking lot about to do a massive purchase. We just got back from vacation and the cupboards are bare. My #1 priority is getting Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough so I can eat it raw, chunk by delicious chunk. I have no intention of making cookies.
I'm going to the store tomorrow and my personal list reads like this thanks to the board: -funfetti cake mix & frosting -cinnamon rolls -lava cake & ice cream -cookie dough (I'm looking at you @magburt )
I work in a daycare. My UO is that sometimes parents do not know everything about their kids. There's one baby that I look after-- he's 4 months old. He can never get to sleep because his feet are cold (if I rub them while he's in the crib he takes a nap... this takes like 5-10 min). I told his parents and they said, "nah, his skin just feels clammy sometimes..." I am going to go buy this kid some socks for when he's at my center. This is just one example. I get that people love their babies, but I spend 8-9 hours a day with them, I learn stuff too!

DD has never been in daycare, but I would love if someone could tell me something about my kid that could possibly help me! She's going to preschool for the first time this Fall two days a week.
@BostonBaby1 and @magburt I don't know if I'm on as much as others, but I consider myself outspoken. I know I don't agree with everything that you believe. The constant gender debate annoys the crap out of me too, but I still carry respect for you guys. I just sit back and have a mental countdown to see who will post first lol Just wanted to put that out there .
For some weird reason I haven't been craving funfetti cupcakes, but I have been craving chicken tortilla soup lol 7 hours worth of prep work later and I am finally enjoying a bowl. I think I'm going to end up eating this whole damn pot!

Who wouldn't want a tip on how to put their kid to sleep?!?!?! I'd be out to the store so fast buying thermal socks!

I appreciate the respect, even if you disagree with me. come August I'll have a lot less free time and might not be as active. Kindergarteners are needy and stuff.

We have this. I like the regular and DH likes the spicy. I like their mustard, too, but I don't like the bottle it comes in, so I use French's.
Ummm.... WHERE do you find this ketchup? DH loves the whataburger fancy ketchup, but we could only get it in the little packets at Whataburger. And now we've moved to where no Whataburgers are so.... No more Fancy Ketchup for us. I want to get this and put it in his Christmas stocking.

@Embuzz247 when I was a kid I ate ketchup sandwiches. Just bread and ketchup. So much so that one year the only thing I wanted for Christmas was bread and ketchup. Still just as weird as an adult
I guess my UO is I really don't give a shit about much these day. Not much ruffles my feathers enough to make a big fuss about it. On here or IRL. You want to call it gender not sex? You have been warned, ill sit back and watch the fireworks. You want to post the 700 thread about your fruit this week, I scroll right on by you my friend. Maybe I'm depressed? IDK, or maybe " I'm too old for this shit" but I will say I love watching it all unfold.

All the homebodies I know feel similarly. Are you a homebody typically? If there is even a small correlation between the energy you typically have to give and vacation energy, I wouldn't be surprised.
Drunk people annoy me, it's probably because I'm not drinking with them.
This. And I hate it when you're out with some people, they order drinks and then give you a look of pity or say "Can we drink in front of you?" "I bet it's so hard!" "How do you NOT drink?" "I feel guilty enjoying this." "I read pregnant women can still drink! Why don't you?" "You still let DH drink? That's so nice of you!" My pregnancy was highly planned. I was well aware I could not drink for 9+ months of my life and I'm fine with that. DH isn't pregnant so if he wants to throw some back and enjoy a DD, that's fine by me. Also, I'm pregnant, not a recovering alcoholic, so it's not very hard on me. (*Disclaimer, I'm not insinuating anything bad about anyone being in recovery. You're clearly strong to admit you have a problem and to conquer it every day!*)
@MrsBwIVF & @Mother0fDragons I have to agree with both of you. Drunk people annoy the shit out of me right now! I'm hoping I can survive football season. My hubby always works during the games as a bartender and all of our friends go and watch our teams play. I told hubby that this year I'm going to watch my team play and then bounce because I don't have patience for people's drunk stupidity when I'm sober. Haha
When people call MY baby their baby, it IRKS my nerves. It's silly but I don't think it is cute when everyone tries to claim my child....like bro... I AM going to give birth to my LO after incubating him for 9 months or so NOT you.... Grrr
Oh and to the ranch haters...I went to Chik-fil-a to satisfy a mean craving....put RANCH all on my chicken sandwich...YUMMY
@erikaalzet I am definitely a homebody. When I was active duty military I was constantly on the go. Since I've gotten out I've learned to appreciate my time at home which means most Friday nights I can be found in bed with my husband and our pups. Clearly the military taught me to lead a VERY exciting life lol

Omg. I ate ketchup sandwiches too!! Now the thought makes me gag!
