do we have a Fb group yet? I'm so bad about remembering to check in here.. My June 2014 birth group had a great FB group in addition to the forum!

I feel like a group would work better down the road. Like way down the road. Otherwise you essentially have two separate groups of people and people start feeling left out, people start getting butt hurt, etc. No one is going to post everything twice and no one wants to read things twice, so FB gets busy and the board dies, except for newcomers who don't know about the FB group.

I just today got my BFP! I was also a member of the Jan 13 BMB that had a FB group spinoff. The FB group is my lifeline and I love those ladies (and one dad!) like my oldest dearest friends.

Since we have not told many able it the baby, I would be hesitant to join a fb group right now and have someone find out that way. But, once everyone knows about our little Appleseed, a fb group sounds like a great idea!

My Feb 2012 bump board has a Facebook page and it's private. We talk about some crazy very private thongs on there. I love those girls.

I would be open to a Facebook group after more time has passed. I like the idea of weeding out the crazies on here and then letting people know my full name.

I am on a Facebook group for my August 14 bmb. We didn't start it till almost end of third trimester. Considering everyone can then see your real name I would really suggest holding off. You also had to be a recognized user to get added to the group.

FB groups are great. I would suggest waiting until third trimester so we really get through the war that is pregnancy together. I was in a 2011 group and the support was great but we waited until over halfway through.

@aliciacm2005 I am J14, who are you??? Facebook groups are great, much much much later on. My J14 ladies are my lifeline on fb.

That would be great but I agree that it would be best way down the line. However not all of us have fb. Such as myself. So I would be out of luck if the baord dies.

It would be a shame to see the board die early on because of a FB group. I agree, much later (3rd tri or even after babies are here) would be best.

I started a facebook group for February and March mommas. If you are interested in joining, PM me your email address. I joined my Feb 15 facebook group early and it was wonderful to go through our pregnancies together on facebook. It's a secret group so no one else can see it at all.

@KRMcD did starting early kill off TB group? We had one branch off way early in J14 and they mostly stopped coming on TB.

The Bump group was still super-active until the upheaval in January(?). I'm still not really clear on what happened since I had my baby 6 weeks early and missed everything. I finally got him home from the NICU and went to go post about it and it was a ghost town there.

I would be open to a FB group. I am still part of one from my 2 1/2 year old. We just met up. 10 ladies from 6 different states! It was awesome. I think it's best to wait and start when everyone is past the 12 week mark. It was awful when people had to drop out of they had a loss.

I agree it's a bit early too, but I'd love to be added when one gets going! Just getting to know you mamas here, and it'd be sad if half of you left before we even have all the March '16 mamas in here - some of them may not have even gotten their BFPs yet!

I'd love to, but not right away. I've sat back and watched some crazy drama go on at those FB groups. I'm not comfortable joining till I know everyone better. Think of all the personal information you're giving everyone! People can copy your pictures, find out where you live, etc. Its easier than you think to track someone down with just a little bit of info. Build some safe relationships here first.

I don't have a facebook so I wouldn't be able to join anyways but even if I did, I'd want to wait until later (3rd trimester) because there's too much personal information available on facebook.
