I am getting so impatient I wasn't to k ow ASAP this is my fifth and so far it boy girl boy girl and I am absolutely convinced it's a Girl now but I have my ultrasound the 28th so I can't wait.
I didn't know so many people found out so soon!! I'm 11 weeks 4 days and next appointment is this Thursday. So I'll be asking the doc when we will be finding out the gender! Most likely at my 20 week appointment sept 10th I suspect! Long time to wait but then the baby will be further along!
My genetic test results are in and my baby is completely healthy. that test has the results of my baby's gender BUT my husband wants to find out together so i have to pick up a paper and drive home and wait for him to get off work to know what i'm having... the suspense is killing me!

My DH is the same way!!!! But we have to wait a few more days for the results. I'm dying to know what you're having too now. I hate the suspense lol
I love hearing about what you all are having! I am surprised at the number of ladies on here being Team Green as well!!! I personally wanted to be Team Green but my SO just *has* to find out. He is more impatient than I am!!!!! LOL I did the cell free DNA test the other day... get my results in 2 weeks. I guess I am giving into my SO's desires lol
Same here. I wanted to wait to find out, by DH wants to know ASAP... He even said, it was fine that I didn't find out, but he would find out and he wouldn't tell me...... Um, that won't work lol. I'm not upset about finding out, of course I want to know! I just thought it would be a cool experience not to find out : )

I'm also surprised by how many people get to find out so soon. It makes me wonder if most people are paying out of pocket for these 'extras' or if they're just a part of their normal care? I asked how early we could find out and we won't be able to until 20 weeks exactly. They said that insurance won't cover it any earlier because not everything that they check on is fully developed until 20 weeks, and of course insurance isn't going to pay multiple times.

From what I heard it's if you are high risk of 35 and older. I don't know what classified myself as high risk... Doctor didn't say and I'm not 35. I took the test because she said it screened for abnormalities and as a bonus you can find out the sex. I figured it would ease my mind to find out earlier if I'm having a healthy baby. Only reason I asked for the sex is because DH just has to know for whatever reason.
My insurance covered it and for the Progenity test I believe they said $25 without insurance. I never asked for it they just recommended it to me.
NIPT test results back today. I'm about 12 weeks and it's going to be a GIRL! I already have a 2.5 year old son so I'm super excited. All those Chinese gender predictor charts were wrong.
I opted not to have the blood test done because my doctor said it wasn't at all medically necessary and there was no way I was going to pay out of pocket, but the tech gave us a 80%+ probability of it being a girl. I'm so excited! I had a feeling and it was nice to have that sense of confirmation.

I had a prenatal aneuploidy test done to check for chromosomal abnormalities and it revealed the sex also. Test test confirmed my suspicion that we are having a little boy! So excited!!!
I'm 14 weeks tomorrow, probably won't find out for another few weeks plan on going to a private 3d4d ultrasound place. I had another wacko dream last night this time it was finding out the sex of our baby and even in the dream we couldn't tell. So fate is telling us to wait yet again Congrats everyone
@stlmomof2 Ooo, fingers crossed for good news on your birthday! I took mine Thursday too, and when I called my mom today she was disappointed because she thought I was calling to say I got my results, lol.
After cell free testing, we are having our second boy. So far, as healthy as can be. We are eagerly awaiting to 20 week scan which will be 4D due to my first son's birth defects. Keeping our fingers crossed.
I'm convinced we are having a girl since this pregnancy is completely different then when I was pregnant with my son. Hubby of course is team boy. I'll be happy with either. Girl means new fun stuff and boy means someone for my son to share his room with. Hoping to find out the first week of August and let everyone know at my son's birthday party the following Saturday. With any luck he will be "getting a gift" from his baby brother or sister!
Took the blood test 11 days ago and finally got the call back (after calling and leaving a message on Friday, so if you're super antsy, don't be afraid to call them and ask if the results are back yet...my sister-in-law's mother was an OB nurse and she said things like this are low priority if there's no issues, so they'll leave them sitting there for days sometimes!).
Baby is healthy, and is a GIRL! I'm super excited, especially because I just won a bet, bahaha. Ever since getting pregnant, I had a feeling it was a girl, and kept saying our girl name over and over in my head, but never got as attached to the boy name we picked out despite liking it, it just didn't feel ready to use yet
