First time mommy here too! )that does feel weird) me and my DF(dear fiancé) found out July 3rd. One year from our wedding day. So looks like we'll be putting that off a little! My dr. Appt isn't until the 4th of Aug which seems SOOOOO far away! I wanna see my baby! I want to know everything is ok in there!!! Does anyone else feel this way?? So far my symptoms have been mild. No nausea but have had headaches and caught a bad cold. Have had heaviness and bloating too but no morning sickness yet so I'm NOT complaining! My EDD is March8th but that just based off my cycle, it could very well change when I FINALLY see a doctor!
Hi everyone! FTM here and a little overwhelmed. Seems we brought this baby home as a honeymoon present EDD March 10th. Excited, but having a hard time not worrying. I talked our OB's office into letting me come earlier than they were trying to schedule us, so first US is July 16th! I think it will feel more real, and hopefully help me relax, once I see the baby. Can't wait! We are going to slip the US pics in with the honeymoon pics to share with our parents!
I'm a first-timer. I'm trying to stay calm and not jump at shadows. I don't feel much different lately--nipples are sore, but that's all, really. My first appt isn't until the 29th so I'll just have to stay cool until then.
I am a first time mom too! I am 34, my DH is 35. We found out we were expecting July 2 when I took a pregnancy test on a whim because I've been exhausted and nauseated lately. Happy news for sure!
I had an appointment today with the nurse at my practice. She did a quick exam and I got blood work done to test my levels. My EDD is 3/15 so it can be a nice belated birthday gift for DH
I am exhausted, wake up nauseated daily and it continues on most of the day. My boobs are so sore too.
I have my first ultrasound on July 24. I am trying to remain calm and relaxed but it's hard! It's also killing me not being able to share the news yet!!
Hi everyone, I'm a FTM at 31yrs old. I think I'm around 6wks pregnant but possibly could be 10wks as my last af was very light and only lasted 2 days. Went to register at the docs last thurs and he told me to make an appointment with the midwife at the reception. Filled a form out and now waiting for a phone call. Never knew I'd be so anxious waiting. Been having mild af cramps but friends have told me this is normal. My bbs have grown so sooo much and keep getting waves of nausea. Don't know about the rest of you FTM..but just doesn't feel real or it hasn't quite sunken in that I've got my BFP.. Xxx ♥

Hi everyone, I'm a new nervous, excited, shocked FTM.. Due March 10.. Very happy.. Do you ever get used to thinking there's a tiny human growing inside you?
I'm also a FTM and due on March 10 like many of you! Experiencing sore boobs, frequent urination, and just a tiny bit of nausea right now. I go in next Friday to re-check hcg levels and then the following week for an ultrasound. We found out on July 2 and shared the news with our parents July 4 by having our pup show up in a "Big Sis" shirt
First time mom here too although this is my 3rd pregnancy. I had 2 miscarriages last year (August and November) but it seems my hcg levels are rising the way they should be this time, so we're feeling pretty positive! I will be 30 before this little bean is born and my husband recently turned 30 as well. My first ultrasound is the 17th (early because of the miscarriages) and I am so anxious about it! So far I'm exhausted, sore boobs that are spilling over my bras and the occasional wave of nausea. I'm actually due February 29th, but that's technically March 1st :P
Also a first time mom currently 6 weeks 5 days and due March 1st. I just turned 27 this week and DH is 28. I've been having symtoms since 5 weeks including some nausea, dizziness, feeling lightheaded, fatigue, and sore boobs. Hopefully the symtoms will subside in a couple of weeks. My first appointment is July 23rd and I'm very excited
First timer here too! My husband and I just got married Feb 27th so this happened quickly but we're so excited ). Our due date is March 11th but the first appt isn't until August 3rd....idk about anyone else on here but most of my nerves right now are about that first dr apt (doctors make me nervous in general..high bp whenever I'm there but normal in everyday life) having my love of my life next to me and trying my best not to feel awkward/having my heart beat through my chest as he watches me get felt all over the place hahahah SO excited for our first ultrasound though! Hopefully after we see the little one on the screen, I can actually enjoy the pregnancy and have less worries )
Hi! I'm 28 & First time mum too! Just had my first ultrasound this morning, all looked great, 'saw' the heartbeat! I am 6 weeks today & my due date is 7th of March! And I'm Getting married in 4 weeks, so it's going to be tricky keeping it a secret on the day!
Hi! I am a FTM, 24 and been married 2 yrs. currently a student and we got this big surprise... so a lot of changes on the way, but we are thrilled! We spilled the beans to 2 of my sisters already but trying to keep our mouths shut for another couple weeks before telling others. I am 5.5wks, EDD March 11, first doc appt tomorrow morning!!!
FTM here! Est. Due March 17 2016. Still in shock. But my chest is so sore that it's a constant reminder. Also peeing a lot more. But I'm also drinking a lot more water so that could be why! Excited to begin this journey with you ladies!
FTM and couldn't be more excited! Im 24 and my husband is 27. Our due date is March 2, putting me at about 6 weeks now. We had an appt with an RN at my OB last Tuesday to confirm and have my first ultrasound August 18th. It feels like so long, I don't want to wait that long! The nausea and sore boobs have been the worst, with exhaustion and food aversion not far behind.
Congrats mommys! (Feels weird accepting that means me too)
This is our first, had a MMC third week of May at just over five weeks, got a BFP four weeks later! Very nervous, DH can't get excited until after the first tri. Haven't really told anyone, just a few close friends. Everyone was so excited before, and I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. So far so good, 7 weeks today, morning sickness started last week and is progressively getting worse! I'll take it though, didn't make it that far last time. EDD is 03/01! Ultrasound this Friday to check for fetal pole and HB
Anyone know how long it takes for that initial bloodwork to come back? Did my blood and urine samples this morning and hoping I'll hear by the end of the week...!

Depends on your doctor's office and whether their lab is onsite or not. My doctor's lab is onsite so I typically have results within 24 hours. If it has to be sent offsite, I would think 48-72 hours.
I am not a first time mom, we are on number two but I just wanted to say a couple of things that I hope you ladies find encouraging , the honest stuff that I wish someone had told me. (I am being all sappy and hormonal so feel free to ignore )
This is going to be the most amazing roller coaster ride ever from growing a baby to your first year and everything after
Smile and take the advice , everyone has a way that worked for them ... You will find a hodgepodge way of making it work for you but for most people advice is their way of reminiscing or trying to help
It is okay to feel happy and scared and sad and nervous all at the same time or one at a time , life is about to change forever , going through the process with your SO and recognizing that you have nine months left of "just you two" can be a wild realization but it is ok and it will be ok
It is ok if SO is happy, it is ok if they are freaked out and it is ok if, as long as they are supporting you, that it doesn't click for them until delivery .. You spend 9 months getting to know your little blip , they don't
Be kind to yourself . Sleep , you won't but you should. Love your body . Don't worry about the weight .. You can lose all of it in a second and your shape will still be new. You are growing a baby , the baby loves your body just the way it is , you should too.
Lastly thank you for reading , and congratulations mamas ... This is the most challenging and amazing thing in the entire world. ::hugs::
September Siggy Challenge : Favorite Childhood Movies ( Sorry I have two)
Hi everyone, I'm also a FTM, and just found out 2 days ago. I'm 30 and my husband is 29. I'm still really early - 4w1d - and my due date is 3/22. We live 5000 miles from our families, so I'm a little nervous about that, but mostly have been feeling a strange sense of calm...likely the calm before the storm
Hello ladies Iam also a first time mommy to be(yay!) I'm currently 7 weeks today and due March 2nd! I get my first ultra sound at 12weeks and yesterday we looked for heartbeat and lil fishy wasn't having it! If you hear a heartbeat anytime before 13weeks consider yourself lucky! Glad I have somewhere to talk to other future Moms ❤️
EDD is March 6. 6 weeks and 4 days today and I'm having every symptom in the book. The nausea and queasiness is the worst but the fatigue isn't a winner either. I'm super excited about being a mommy however and can't wait to meet the little bundle that's giving me so much hell right now. Lol
I'm a first time soon-to-be mom due March 4th! We had an ultrasound a few days ago at 6 weeks 3 days and saw/heard the heartbeat. My heart melted right off that table :P
1st time momma here! Finally expecting after 4 years of infertility. Due March 7th! Haven't had too many symptoms yet. Did have my first ultrasound today and everything looked perfect and we saw a heartbeat!!
FTM here too! 3 positive pregnancy tests and some major bloating! My doctors appt is on Tuesday and I'm due March 11! So happy to have a baby on the way and this group to go through this experience with!!!
I'm a FTM and first pregnancy. My DH and I are so excited. He's turning 35 and I'm turning 27. We've been married almost 4 years. We found out on June 28th that we were pregnant. We went in for a US 3 days later and were upset we didn't see anything. I had my second ultrasound today and was surprised to learn I was only 5w5d. We thought I was 7w3d according to my lmp. Which explains why we didn't see anything 2 weeks ago. It was so cool to hear his little heartbeat. I'm still in shock.
I've been fatigued, very sore and engorged breasts, and a slight touch of nausea. Hoping to be like my mom and not get morning sickness
Ftm, due March 10... I never thought of having kids bc I was so career driven and here I am... Going to have a baby... I don't have a dh I have a dd (devoted dude) comes over rubs my feet every night, cooks me dinner, started a baby fund. I'm ten years old than him!!!!! Eeeeek, it was a year of having fun and enjoying each other's company.. And now it is the rest of our lives. I saw the heartbeat the other day and it confirmed to me that this is happening... I will not longer have a bottle of wine but a baby in my hands daily... It's scary to think how my life is going to change.
I found out on June 26th, which was also our 5 year wedding anniversary. I'm now 6w2d pregnant, and due March 9th.
I feel hungover. All the time. And all I can eat is peaches and rice crispies. I feel miserable, but overwhelmingly happy and excited at the same time. My boobs hurt, so of course, my cat keep trying to smush them.
My husband is out of town every week Monday-Friday, so that's been a little challenging. But it's helping me stay on a more suitable diet.
I have 4 dogs... One has figured it out so far. It's adorable.

I am in the same boat. I'm a FTM mom, 5w1d. DH is 32 and I'm 29. We have only told my younger brother so far, only because I'm a terrible liar. We are very much looking forward to being Mom and Dad!
I am also a first time mom, after trying to conceive for three and a half years and one round of IVF here I am!! MY EDD is March 22nd so that makes me 4w2d today. It still feels so unreal to me, I am so so happy! Happy for everyone here as well.
Not any bad symptoms so far, just the usual tired and sore boobs, but I have had those for a while because of the progesterone supplements. But it is still early.

Hi everyone! I'm 28, FTM here, too! I just finished my 6 week going on 7 from my LMP. I'm super excited and super nervous since I'm not seeing my dr til the end of the month! No real crazy symptoms. Sore boobs, stretching and cramping - down there, and beyond exhausted. No naceous, though. Hoping that's not a bad thing. Congrats everyone!
Hello! I found out on July 4th as well. This will be our first baby and we have been married 9 years! I saw my doctor last Monday and they said everything looked good. They could see the Yolk Sac, but no baby yet, so they estimated me at 5 weeks. So, now I am around 5 weeks and 4 days. I have cramping and that is about it. I am very excited!
