BFP 9/24/18 • CP (age 40)
TTC#2 (for me)
Temping/charting, opks
DPO #4 (I hope!)
I feel bleh but DH (as always) feels optimistic. I think I'm just got and cranky.
My pet peeve? People who don't use turn signals.
DH got a FT job! Thank goodness! So exciting! Two incomes will be sooooo nice.
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
efhoping2010/WY
IVF/ICSI/MESA #4 but FET 2 with 2 CCS Normal Blasts, the first at the big clinic.
Please see history for the details
Had second bloodwork this morning for E2 and P4, also had lining check/us, the nurse said I had a triple layer/trilaminar, YAY. Today I end lupron and start PIO, the nurse drew my circles for self injection. I also start doxycycline and Medrol and more bloodwork tomorrow for transfer on 7/13.
I am nervous/excited/hopeful and feeling scared about actually being potentially pregnant soon
I think we really might have a chance of something this time
dolphin012 hoping and praying you have a super high beta tomorrow!!!Preparing to TTC #2
I am tracking and OPK. I have a basil thermometer arriving this week.
O'd today according to FF and 1 positive OPk
Not actively TTc so nothing to feel about that. But feeling so stupid with all I don't know about my own body.
Pet peeve would be people who don't pick up their feet while walking. I have someone who shuffles back and forth at work. Drives me nuts.
1. Kris- from Connecticut
2. TTC #2 for 6mo
3. Seeing an RE. Husband has been tested. I Have had all my blood work drawn. Had a saline ultrasound. I have pretty bad scar tissue from my csection. Because of it they have postponed my HSG and I have to have a hysteroscopy on Friday.
I know it is an important diagnostic test but I'm frustrated that I had to be put on the pill for it. I feel like it is another month wasted....
4. On the pill for my test
5. Nervous but anxious to get all this testing done and put a plan in place!
Wishing everyone luck this month
Pet Peeve: people that swear too much. And I agree with the comments above, some of those other boards are rough! I pretty much just stick to this one and peak at the (very quiet) natural birth board.
While the remote monitoring clinic saw triple pattern my RE said the lining itself is way too thin only 6mm, blah.
So FET for Monday 7/13 is not going to happen.
I now stay on Lupron and add vaginal Estrace too and have another lining check next Wednesday 7/15.
Possible FET now 7/20
I found this out after my weekly acupuncture and am feeling very devastated.
I have fears and concerns that now I will not make it to FET.
So sad..........
I say whoever gets pregnant next shares the baby with everyone. Just ship it around in a box with holes. And don't worry -- we'll put some lettuce in there or something. I'm not a monster.

MMC at 10 weeks 03/2011 DD born 01/2012 TTC #2 since 04/2014
BFP 8/26/2016
2. TTC #1, not preventing since 11/12, actively trying since 8/14
3. OPKs, temping, prenatals, inositol supplements, evening primrose oil, Vitamin E, Zinc, probiotics, cayenne, Vitamin B, increased dose of Vitex (CD 3-9) and just started licorice (CD 3-9). Still on progesterone (Prometrium, 200mg), starting the day after O. Trying to increase protein, decrease sugars/carb, and exercise more but I haven’t done as well this past week because of partying at my grandparents place in Florida :O)
4. CD 8, waiting to O...
5. I’m really feeling like taking a break this cycle. I’ll still do OPKs and BD at the right times, but I think I need a mental break from trying so hard. I’m starting acupuncture in a couple of weeks and really hoping that will help with regulating my cycles (or at least relieving some of the TTC stress). My current insurance runs out at the end of this month so we are looking into a new insurance plan (hopefully one that covers a RE but it’s tough because H and I are both self-employed). Also, I’m without an obgyn right now (the last one was through student health and I’m no longer a student). She gave me 5 refills on the progesterone so I’m set as far as that goes but not sure if I should try to find another one right away just to “check in” with someone and to get another opinion about my TTC status. Or should I just wait until I get close to running out of progesterone or I end up pregnant (whichever happens first)?
@CarrierandRoy - OMG, yes! Some of the other boards scare me!! I remember reading one that said, “Don’t feed the troll” just because someone new asked a silly question. The poor woman was like, “Um, I’m not a troll.” It was just terrible. And the sharing the baby idea made me really crack up!
@emsmama15 - I’m so excited for you!! I really hope this is your time! Let us know if you POAS before Monday…
@dolphin012 - fingers crossed for you!! Can't wait to hear the results from the beta!
@happyktmom - do you think the high dose of Vitex does anything? This is my second cycle trying it…I have one more day so hopefully I’ll O early again like last cycle. Oh, and I agree about the people asking personal TTC questions. I can’t believe how many people ask me and H - “Where are the babies?” I find it so hard to not just break down and cry right there and tell everyone about all the struggles I’ve gone through. Instead I just smile and say, “We’re working on it.”
As far as my pet peeve, I hate it when people spit or throw or toss gum outside. As if nature is their garbage can. It’s just gross.
And lastly, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring us a BFP soon!!! We need the positive vibes to keep the hope alive. Someone! Anyone! Please! [-O<
