Congratulations!!!!! Don't listen to everyone else here! This is suppose to be a forum to support each other. We are all here for the same thing ladies.
I see you've not been active on here whatsoever, so I'll take it upon myself to explain. This specific board is for women who are TRYING TO CONCEIVE (many have been trying for quite a long time), therefore it is bad etiquette for someone who has hardly participated/contributed to come on here and show off their BFP.

@nlwz123 I hope I'm not mistaken, but I thought I saw on another post somewhere that you are pregnant? I'm so sorry if I'm confused, but if I'm not, CONGRATS!!!!

I read the "if you could tell a newbie anything" thread before I was allowed to post when I first joined here and honestly it was really informative and helped me a lot in knowing how to get started here. So some newbies do read them if that makes anyone feel any better. And I do remember this question was answered but at the time I could not for the life of me figure out what a "bmb" was. Lol it just kept saying "just head to your bmb once you're pregnant if you're new." It wasn't in the acronym list either but a little stalking goes a long way and I finally figured it out on my own. I was just asking again for clarification because recently I've seen a few bfp' around here and some are celebrated and some aren't so I just wanted to make sure no rules have changed or something. Also because I'm not sure what I am. I feel too old to be a newbie but too new to be a regular
But thanks everyone for the answers!!! I'm having tons of fun here, I appreciate the help!
It was a drive-by-posting!! (Oh the HORROR)...and it looks like more than a few of us felt the sting, myself included!
I don't know why though, the stupid thread is just "BFP" and yet, I too, like the rest of you, clicked on it and got pissed. Is this an example of our idiocy (re: Here to cope with my idiotness @babyintegers)??
Either way I suppose we are all in the same boat. That being said, I'd like to say this--I'm a new person and no, I haven't read every single thread/post because, well...because that's impossible. But to all the other newbies out there, just keep this one rule in mind. KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE! If you remember who you are posting to AND you have a shred of common sense and common decency you'll known what's right to post and what's not. If you have a question, be pro-active, try to find the answer yourself first....if you want some clarification, ask. But be open to hearing what people have to say.
And when in doubt post a funny GIF....or meme (for those of you, like myself, who about as good as GIFs as they are at getting pregnant...get it? cause it's hard?)

I've only been active a little over a month and I would never expect anyone to be like "omg I'm so happy you've been on here like 2 days and boom you're pregnant" so maybe that's just my brain thinking but why would you even want validation from people like that. Just say hey guys it was a short visit but I'm heading to the bmb now but thanks for the great advice. There is no need to brag, I get it must be really exciting but I'm glad I'm able to see what not to do because I knew clicking this link would make me upset but I did it anyway hoping it was a joke with lots of gifs to lift my spirits. I'm not trying to call anyone in particular out just sharing how I feel since many many others obviously agree in some way shape or form. But I do want to say congrats @LaffyTaffy27, you now have that joy for 9 months we all want so enjoy it and have a h&h pregnancy.
First: Congratulations @LaffyTaffy27
Second: Thank you @Carazona5 Looks like more than one of us had the same question, came to the same conclusion, and wanted the confirmation.
Third: I just love you ladies, everything I'd say has been said. Thank you for making my morning, yet again.
I just wanted to stop by to say not all newbies are total idiots: I, for one, did read all the stickies and lurked for a few weeks before beginning to post. I thought that was just common courtesy to get a sense of the board culture and what is appropriate and what isn't. I just thought that's what you do when you join a new forum.
Or, you know, maybe I do have a tiny shred of common sense?
