I don't care if the noobs post multiple threads every day about the same dumb symptoms. I just don't care. I've been around TB for 3 1/2 years, and I've always been more irritated with an extreme need for board organization that duplicate posts.
Flame away!
Edit-format was weird
I completely agree. The strict board organization is irritating, but I'm also used to 5 years of seeing multiple posts. I also don't like the symptom threads etc because then you have to sift through so many pages and responses and constantly go back and forth quoting people. The search function is also something I'm not used to, and it's obnoxious. Sure, redirect to a thread that is older and has good info, but don't say people can't comment on the new one. Maybe someone has something new to say, and again, sifting through 12 pages is obnoxious and being tagged in a month old thread is just as bad.

I love entertaining, but lately I kind of hate it because of all the last minute flakers.... And if you are going to flake, at least send a text or something. It's nicer so I just don't cook extra for you.
It'd be kinda cool if the symptom-specific threads worked well for everyone, rather than daily symptoms posts: like collecting everything thematic under 'spotting,' 'nausea,' 'urination,' 'dreams,' ... But whatevs. I can see the drawbacks of the search function and zombie posts, too. Fair enough.

I'm 24, but people are always commenting that I look much younger. It gets kind of annoying and I'm insecure about it; I know it's silly. I'm afraid of the looks I'll get from people assuming I'm a teen mom. I would never look down on someone who was in that situation; I know things happen. But I live in a small town where people can be judgmental and have nothing better to do than gossip. I want to be proud to show off my baby bump (when I get one), but I can't help dreading those looks I'll get from the old ladies at the grocery store.
Im going to be 31 and legit look like a teen mom... Well I look like a teen (maybe max 22) but obviously I don't look like the "mom" part yet. But in a couple months , I'll look teen mom status.

I say this in the kindest possible way....having kids ages you. It's really, really crappy for those of us who wouldn't mind looking a little younger, but when I look back at pictures, my face aged so much after having my first...and then AGAIN after my second! Ah! I'm going to need some pricey treatments after this one;)
Anyway, you might look the part more than you think:)
My DH took off of work today, and while I love having him home with us, it totally throws off my entire day/schedule with DS. With the hormonal swings I'm having between this pregnancy and breastfeeding, I have been more than a little irked today.
I have a really hard time when my DH works from home, which he has been trying to do lately to help while I'm still having the exhaustion. I really appreciate it, because his intentions are good, and he does help...but it's on his timetable, and not the one that would actually be most helpful. I have to constantly remind myself that it's not his fault that he has a conference call, etc at the worst times of my day when he could be most helpful - but my hormones always take hold first. I always get frustrated and then have to talk myself down! So, I totally feel ya.

I live in a tiny town that I love but 90% of the families here are all older (not old but in their upper 30's so older than me) and they have kids the same age as dd. when we go to the pool I'm always the youngest mom with a toddler.... It's fine with me they just don't talk to me or anything, just look at me and talk to each other. I need to find more young people... Where's the 10%?

This seems like a good idea, though I just posted a symptoms/question thread because its been the norm and MagnumJ isn't here to do it anymore. Im game to try something different though!!
My house is generally a pig pen. I hate that it's so messy and that there is a continuous coating of goldfish crackers or cereal bars on the floor. Plus my baby enjoys launching his plate off of his high chair whenever he is done eating. I have about 10 loads of laundry to do. We are a growing family of 5 (soon to be 6) and DH will not clean up to save his life. I just don't have the energy to get off my butt and I'm done caring. I'll do the 25 loads of laundry when I hit the 2nd trimester.
My house is pretty much like this too. Even when I'm not plagued with MS. I just think at the end of my life will I look back and think,"I wish I would have spent more time cleaning." Probably not DH finally hired someone to come in a pick up around the house. She doesn't charge much and it's worth every penny.

@TheBeggsBunch thanks for picking that up. There are at least five obvious 'symptoms' threads on the first page despite a dedicated daily thread! I think it's a lost cause. Other stuff will just have to be like buried treasures.

Yea I just saw that... Despite newbie requirements include the 3 day lurk, which Doesn't seem to happen. Oh well... We can keep it going anyways of everyone likes.
We don't have a Saturday thing. So complaining here for the day haha. Home for the week. Dad got me all these yummy fruits I posted a nice pic on IG that said I'm home! That's something my dad does. Knows all my favorites and has them here for me when I visit. So just with that picture someone commented "are You saying what I think you're saying?" WTF. TP. Seriously. How. When. What? I need to become better at being snarky and putting people on the spot just for being rude. And again, how do you gather that from a fruit picture. Geeeeeez!
