Grilled Cheese!

I don't have many talents but, of the few I do have, making a killer grilled cheese is one of them (if I do say so myself).

My dh wants me to try a new kind tonight- any suggestions??

These are some of the kinds I've already tried...

Fall Harvest (my personal fave): Gouda, cheddar, apple butter, sliced apples, toasted hazelnuts in brown butter and arugula

Summer seasonal: spicy bourbon peach chutney, bbq shredded chicken, cheddar and Swiss

Spring green: herbed cheese spread, fontina, mozzarella, avocado, pesto and arugula

Spinach artichoke grilled cheese

Jalepeno popper grilled cheese

Pepperoni pizza grilled cheese

And, of course, the classic ...

I need more ideas so thought it'd be fun to crowd source a bunch of pregnant women

OMG I'm texting my husband your description of the spring green above now.

We make one called a chicken hog. It is pepper jack cheese, grilled or baked chicken slices, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Of course you can always add more cheese

Give me all of the grilled cheese. Let's just say they are a big part of my diet.

I don't really have any recipes. I just use whatever I happen to have on hand.

My husband makes what I think is the perfect grilled cheese

of course I'm partial, but it's cheesy, gooey, a little spicy, and omg I really want a grilled cheese now lol

One slice Swiss on one side, one slice of velveeta (or whatever milder melty cheese you'd like), a slice of tomato in the middle, and horseradish spread on the inside of both slices of bread. Yummmmmmm

These are my ideas so far:

Buffalo chicken grilled cheese- I'd do shredded buffalo chicken in a spicy buffalo sauce, some sort of bleu cheese sauce and cheddar with celery salt

Loaded baked potato: chive sour cream/cream cheese spread, candied bacon and cheddar on potato bread

But both of these my baby isn't necessarily feeling today -ha. So, they may go on the back burner for now.

French dip is a great idea! I may hold off on that one until I can eat my roast beef rare again lol. I'll definitely put that on my list!!

All I want now is a grilled cheese..... counting down the hours til I leave work now! Yum yum yum yum!

Also, grilled cheese with homemade guacamole. I used to make them for DH while we were dating and called them "proposal sandwiches", cause it was so good that if this grilled cheese didn't make him propose, I don't know what will!

As a grilled cheese connoisseur, I'm embarrassed to say I don't like goat cheese

But I love the idea of a blueberry something in there!

Maybe it's a Cashew thing. DH doesn't like it either. It's tearing our marriage apart!

But seriously, blueberry and brie is a brilliant combination too!

I decided on the loaded baked potato but instead of potato bread I'm going to use bakery bread but add really thinly sliced skillet cooked potatoes with the mixture of sour cream and cream cheese, chives, cayenne-maple candied bacon, and cheddar.

I don't usually eat grilled cheese but I've been eating a lot of it this pg. BTW, if you are ever in Ohio, we have a gourmet grilled cheese restaurant called Melt that's insanely good and dangerous for a pregnant woman to wander into

I can't even look at most of these suggestions.. I don't consider it grilled cheese though if it has anything other than cheese and condiments, lol. I do like grilled cheese though. Only additions I like are pepperoni, Bologna, and ham.
