Anyone else having drenching night sweats? Apparently it's a hormonal thing, and it'll stick around for longer thanks to breastfeeding. Joys of motherhood huh!
Yes! I am not enjoying it. I don't remember having this issue with my first. I'm about 2 weeks postpartum. Hoping it ends soon!
1) This past week was my first full work week with the boys on my own! While DH was at work I managed to take care of 2 under 2 and both are still alive Granted there may have been some TV/ iPad time along with a bit of junk food for the toddler, but hey I did it! It's a bit tough when both are crying and I have to prioritize needs. At least I've started figuring out how to get the toddler and baby to nap at the same time. Hopefully the nap routine keeps up!
2) Yesterday was Spitty's 2 month well baby exam and he's doing great! He's almost doubled his birth weight! At birth he was 3lbs 12oz and now he's at 7lbs 4oz. He also grew in height from 15in to 19in. He's still a little peanut but after shaken nerves and anxieties of him being in the NICU for a few weeks, it's such a relief to see him healthy and thriving!
How long are you guys keeping refrigerated breast milk? Guidelines say 3 to 8 days which is a pretty big range... Posted in breast feeding thread too...

I'll probably go with the guideline and not keep anything past 8 days. Haven't really started a stash yet. But definitely need to so my SO can do some feedings.
soo.... I pumped and had enough for a bottle... I took it with us when we went to the Amish Market this morning... When I opened the bottle (the nipple cover) a while oz and a half spilled out on the floor! ;-( I am devastated! I feel pumping I get hardly nothing. Maybe 2 oz together. And this was a 3oz bottle! Ugh! The joys of pumping I guess.

I usually get about 3 oz total when I pump too.
I wish I would consistently get 3 oz each time I pump. DS seems content when I nurse him so I'm happy with that. I just wish I could enough out of pumping for one of those night time feedings for DH to use.
I posted a little a few months ago but was always to busy to keep up with everyone, I try to read a lot of the threads on here. Anyway, my daughter is 10 days old and I was wondering if anyone else's baby had thrown up at all? I'm breastfeeding and this morning, last night, and the night before she threw up. Once was while she was eating, and the other 2 were a little while after and while she was laying down. It was a lot, definitely not spit up. I changed her doctor appointment from tuesday to Monday just to check it out but we seem to think she needs to burp better and maybe not lay down flat right after eating. Thanks if anyone has Any suggestions/experience!

Hi, welcome back! I just tagged you in the "Breastfeeding Sucks" thread, where a lot of us have mentioned this very thing. Hopefully you'll find it useful. But let us know what the doctor says, please!

Today I went with my brother's family, my husband and the baby to a fest. Spencer is just over 2 weeks old and was a csection. Probably overdid it with the walking but felt so great to be out of the house!
Anyone feel like this pregnancy messed up their eyesight? Or am I just getting old? I feel like I can hardly see close now??
Change in vision is completely normal. It should go back to normal shortly after giving birth. I noticed it with DS but not DD. No long term changes though!
I wish I was making this up... But today was DH's work party. I had a complete stranger (hubby didn't even know her, he only knew her husband) ask me if I needed an episiotomy. She continued to ask all sorts of questions about my labor and assumed that since I had twins I needed a csection and was strictly formula feeding. No lady, I pushed both babies out AND I'm pumping for them, not that that's your business? Then, as she was walking away she says "if they get hungry today I would love to help feed them!" ... Not sure why she thought I would want a stranger feeding my babies, but okay then? Why are random people so nosey??

Thank you, I didn't notice it with our first. Im 10 days PP now and I had to increase the text size on my phone. Haha
So I broke down and bought myself some new clothes as my current closet choices was a source of total frustration! It was funny how I kept picking my old size and getting angry they didn't fit... Reminded myself I came to the store to buy clothes for right now... But let me tell you if you still have baby weight to lose do NOT try on a romper!!
@ElRuby I broke down and bought 2 new tops... I felt like a million bucks. Just to have 2 summer tops that fit my giant boobs is amazing. I can't get my pants zipped and still wear the Bella bands to keep them up. Wonder how long before I break down and buy new pants?!?!
