  • My friend said : your life is so gonna change! No more sleeping out!
Getting up early! Puking and diapers. You are not gonna be able to do what and when you want anymore. And maybe you are gonna have a cry baby! Al night crying! Good luck to you!

And then my mom was so suprised that everything is good with the baby ( had een us, everything fine, good growth and strong heartbeat! )
becaus i started with a very low hcg and it meassured behind
    ( aparently i just had a late ovulation! )
She is so convinced that i am stil gonna mc ( my last pregnancy ended with an mc )
    Omg mom! What the hell!
Where the fuck is the possitive support??!!!
  • We haven't told anyone besides my parents about the pregnancy. Well hubby asked for a couple of hours off to go to the first ultrasound, his boss automatically guessed why he was coming along. Now his whole freaking work place knows! WTF!!! I thought women were the gossipy ones! I feel so uncomfortable with them knowing!

  • My hubby hasn't told his parents yet and I really want them to know. I love my ILs and this will be their first grandchild and possibly only one since we aren't deciding about more after we have one and see how it goes. Also, his sister is 30, still lives at home, has no social life and we are fairly certain that she has never had a boyfriend so we don't see her ever having children. When I try to ask when he wants to tell them he brushes it off. I know he wanted to wait until we had a good strong HB and saw the proper growth on the US, which we did so I don't know what his issue is and he won't talk to me about it. WTF!!!!

How awful! I cannot stand when people do this. My SIL who has a three year old is like this.. She went on and on about the horrors of raising a child and I just kept thinking 'do you even like your kid?!' Its so rude and annoying!

Why is my toddler being a little tyrant today? I don't know what it up with her? She's normally so pleasantly sassy but today she is just mad at the world. She's taking a nice early nap right now lol
  • Why can people not actually READ an email?!? I sent you an email that consisted of all of two sentences. Two! And I get a response back from you with a question that is already addressed in that second sentence.

    WTF?? Read, people.

Yeah, it's not that bad. Really, it's not that bad. Sure, there are times where I wish I could just do whatever I want, but those moments are few and far between and the good stuff far outweighs any of the negatives.

On a similar note, MIL is constantly saying (in front of DH and SIL) that she wishes she never had kids. It's horrible.

My mother is particularly unique. She told me yesterday I had to send her an ultrasound picture because it's her "right." No lady, no one has a right to see inside my uterus.... ever.

Ok to be fair your mom's delivery was a little strong. It's definitely not her "right" but, on the other hand- I'm playing devil's advocate here, why wouldn't you show your mom? I mean, she's your mom! My mom also wants to see all sonogram pics and I text them to her, my mil, dad, step dad, show my grandparents, etc. She sounds like she just wants to be a part of it :)

I totally meant MIL... not mom. Whoops! We don't share things with MIL because she posts them to FB without our knowledge. The woman is actually clinically crazy (to the point we don't trust her with our child alone). She also joys in constantly calling me a bad mom (to me and others), is a pathological liar, threatens to kill her self multiple times a year if she doesn't get her way (and my brother actually did kill himself, so it's a sensitive topic for us)... I'm sure I'll be sharing other wonderful stories as they come up.

Oh wow! I take back everything I said - she absolutely has no right to see your uterus! On a serious note though, I'm so sorry you have to deal with all that crazy!!

  • My mil is always telling me how horrible life will be, or how I won't be able to do this or that. The whole time I was pregnant with dd she reminded me how I couldn't drink wine!

But she wants grand babies she's really just a biotch who has to have control or something

I HATE when people try to sue that scare tactic.  I have a 22 month old.  It is not bad at all.  He sleeps through the night and is pretty tame during the day.  It's totally doable

    WTF?? Read, people.

My husband works for IT for a university and he was just complaining about this last night! You are not alone. As a teacher, I understand the frustration, too!
  • So we told our immediate family pretty early on that we were pregnant. On father's day we found out that MIL told her mom (my DH grandma) about it then we sent a picture of our first ultrasound to all the immediate family and my MIL texts me and asks if she can tell one of her friends at work about it. What the hell! I know she is super excited but so are we and it's our news to tell. So I get my DH to talk to her about it and then she texts me back with an ok and a sad face. Don't make me feel bad because you can't keep your mouth shut about it!
  • Wtf is with this weather??? I'm so sick of rain

I'm totally feeling you on this. I'm changing my degree program and today was supposed to be my first day of classes...I got one of my papers sorted out but they still haven't changed me over yet! So I'm already into my new term and can't even take any classes yet. Ugh..

Edited to add: My point of this was that's it's all being done through email, lol.
