gender reveal idas?

My SO and I want to do something cute for our reveal. We have one Ida.
We were thinking our two LO's my SO and I dress in shirts one has boy and the other says girl every other person all the way up. We also found some animal safe kool-aid paint and we want to paint our tan PitBull blue or pink and do pictures with us and then bring the dog in painted to reveal the gender.
What do you all think?
We like the Ida but we arnt shore about painting the dog.
Anyone else have any ideas as to some ways to reveal the gender.

    I second this motion. It also sounds a bit cuter than painting the dog? And a lot easier to clean up!

    Have you seen the Britney Spears themed baby announcement video? You can see it on YouTube. I thought their idea was cute. The whole family wore white and all their friends had big super soaker water guns (im sure pre filled by one designated person). Then the friends started squirting them. Out came pink water and it soaked onto the white clothes to reveal they were having A girl! Super cute!

    I love the paint idea! But I also would be the wife who suggested it made my SO do it and then didn't help clean up :) haha I love it tho!

    Thank you ladies! I love the squirt gun Ida! I was not 100% about painting the dog he is huge and would have way to much fun painting my house by rubbing on everything haha. I loved the balloon Ida as well! Looks like I have alot to look at so many new great Ida's when I just want to do them all haha.
