Good morning! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. How is everyone feeling?
My MS is
back pretty harsh (9+1) and I had to have crackers at 2am lol. Otherwise, still
uncomfortable and emotional ![]()
GTKY: What is the strangest thing, so far, someone has said to you when you told them your were pregnant?
Mine was this weekend. I was asked if this was planned. Um, yes stranger who was listening to my conversation, me and my DH of 3 years have been planning this. Kthxbye. Even if it wasn't, who asks that kind of question? 8-|
Re: Daily Symptoms Check In June 8--all symptoms posts here!
I also feel really tired, lazy, and bloated, especially bloated after I eat (don't know if that's actually due to pregnancy or if it's all in my mind lol).
I'm also super emotional. Thanks hormones.
GTKY: My FIL was talking to me after we told him the news and he said that in his opinion it should be a boy. He says, "I'm old fashioned and think that the boy should come first and then the girl. But that's just me." For some reason this just irritated me. He said it in a way like he was going to be disappointed with us if we had a girl first. Hate to break it to him but I can't really push any buttons and make this thing a boy. Probably not that big of a deal but the "old fashioned" ways aren't really for me and my husband.

I started feeling better the end of this last week, but not good enough to make me worry! I still randomly gag about something at least once a day and the boob soreness has gotten worse, but the all consuming exhaustion has let up a bit and my sex drive is picking up again (the SO is thanking his lucky stars!)
Strangest reaction was from a close friend. She said "congrats! But for selfish reasons, oh no, not you too!"
GTKY: When we told my mom she kind of stood there for a few moments, asked if we were lying and then said, "What Happened?!"
We told everyone we werent going to start trying until after my sisters wedding in October, so this pregnancy wasn't exactly planned. But nonetheless, we're 25, married and have a house so I was pretty emotional that she was so concerned about the timing.
She did start getting excited a few moments later when it finally hit her that's she's gonna be a grandma again.
GTKY: We've only told 3 people so far so no weird reactions. I'm expecting some "Was it planned?" inquiries just because I was opposed to having kids for years. We're telling my parents and brother on Father's Day and my in-laws the following week.
7w2d and nausea feeling has gone away the past few days. Not missing it at all. But constipation is still in force
Gtky: I haven't had any weird remarks yet...but maybe someday!
Anything you ladies do to keep nausea at bay?
No weird questions yet - only my hubby knows

Haven't told anyone yet. 1st appointment tomorrow. <:-P

My first appointment is in 10 days finally!
No one has really commented on anything weird. Went to Oklahoma this weekend and told the inlaws. They cried. It was the best reaction.
GTKY: people always ask if it was planned. A couple people just gave me a sad look and said I will have my hands full since DD is 12 months.
So hungry but don't want to eat.
No one has said anything weird yet, but when I got annoyed with my husband about something completely valid (regardless of hormones) my SIL said "oh, just breathe, it's your hormones" lol I felt my "hormones" really starting to kick in then!
Gtky: This older woman saw a pic of my s.o. And said ooooo I see why you're pregnant look at daddy
I have been lucky to not have any throwing up yet, but I seem to feel sick first thing in the morning and then late at night too- so sleeping has been very hard since I cannot fall asleep and lot awake feeling sick. I wake up to pee several times and have bizarre dreams! Also when I literally am eating I feel good, but right after I am done I get so sick like I ate WAY too much- and sometimes I only had a few bites.
Also the opposite of constipation....but everyone is different right?
When we told my FIL (father in law?) he immediately asked us due date and when we said late Jan he said "good, studies have shown that the concentration of NHL players born in Jan-Mar is higher than the general population since those born those first three months are the biggest since the years are divided at Dec 31, so they are usually the best athletes and go the farthest in their career.." WTF!? Not even sure its a boy....and neither my husband and I are even Hockey fans? Sigh.
