Re: Daily Symptoms Check In June 8--all symptoms posts here!

  • Not too much nausea today. Was hungry ALL day. Haven't felt hungry since the nausea kicked in 2 weeks ago, so that was a change. A little spotting, so keeping an eye to make sure it doesn't get worse. No cramping. (8w1d)

I called my midwife in tears this morning about my small blood clot yesterday morning and my lack of symptoms over the past few days. She recommended I move my dating ultrasound to this week (instead of next Monday). She said the dating will be less accurate but at least I'll know "if there's a baby in there."

For anyone who has it happen to them: she did reassure me that blood clots are actually fairly common at this stage, and that they don't usually mean anything bad. I think she just suggested moving my US for my own peace of mind and to make me stop crying...Ahahah!

Within 20 minutes of that phone call, I started feeling queasy (which is what my MS was like before). Now I can't tell if it's legitimate or just wishful thinking that I've felt like crap for the rest of the day. Never before in my life have I actually wanted to feel like shit...
  • 7w3d. This is our first pregnancy but we've been trying for nearly 2 years so it's a huge blessing. I was complaining last week that other than sore boobs I didn't feel prego, but karma got me this week. I've been nauseous and haven't been able to eat anything. I want to call my mom for advice but she doesn't know yet. We plan on telling both parents this weekend. Anything you ladies do to keep nausea at bay? No weird questions yet - only my hubby knows

I started taking this algae EPA-DHA supplement (friend recommended) last week, and it's helped quite a bit. I still get nauseous part of the day, but no more puking for me. Yay! Definitely check with your doc before taking, etc. :)

  • Well I feel nauseous all the time, except when I'm eating or sleeping... and since I cannot constantly be eating or sleeping it's quite a dilemma.

And I'm sunburnt... I was in the sun for literally 20 minutes.

GTKY: since this is our third I got the "did you plan this?"... along with the "well you guys are just popping them out aren't you!" (My son is three and my daughter is almost 20mo)
  • 7w 3d. Morning, noon & night nausea, the only thing that helps is San Pellegrino Limonata sparkling lemonade.

I am Celiac and Lactose Intolerant so I'm trying to find a way to make myself feel better while being aware of my allergies! Grr!

Otherwise, I can barely get through a whole day of work, lasting until 5 has been nearly impossible since last week. As far as they're concerned I've had 'The Flu' for 5 days, which isn't easy when you work for your dad!
  • @l4rk I'm so sorry you're feeling this way, I'm really wishing for you have a good US to settle your fears. I know everyone tells us "this is normal" "that is normal" but we still freak out. You'll be in my thoughts!!
