I watched this one! I was like - 'you took TWO at home pregnancy tests and BOTH came up inconclusive and you didn't bother to follow up? At all?!! Maybe try another home test from maybe a different brand? Or go to a planned parenthood and get a free test? Or have your Dr do a test? NONE of that? Girl, you stupid'
Yeah this girl was the worst. She smoked and all of the sudden was nauseous from smoke smell..... Hmmmm duh!!!! Usually smokers aren't grossed out by smoking lol
Both my mom and my sister have separately come up with the exact same date and exact same guess as to sex of baby. There is either some next level ESP shiz going on there, or they both decided on their own to choose a date and sex contrary to my 'preferences' (not that I have a preference of sex of baby, but I've had a feeling for a while, and their guesses are contrary to my feeling)
Mom and sis predict next Friday, June 12, and a boy. I've been thinking its a girl, and 12 is the opposite of 21, so we'll see....

I was just thinking this, but I bet she'll come back after things settle. We can all still really benefit from the board when we have babies. Here's hoping, anyway, that the board stays somewhat active! It'll be better when all our babies are out - right now it's weird with some in, some out, and a lot of randoms.
@Frogger5 I personally REALLY hope some people stay around the boards once the babies are born, especially since DH has to leave while I'm on maternity leave and won't be back for a while. It'll be real helpful to continue to ask other moms questions and what they're experiencing.

I will never understand why someone who has not been an active member would think anyone else would care! Why? I couldn't care less that some anonymous stranger had a 4 hour labor and only pushed 3 times. Congratu-fing-lations. Go AW somewhere else. I think you're right, @JessHeppell, they need more exposure. Imagine what their Facebook/Twitter/whatever looks like!

I am so excited that awesome people already went into labor. It scares me that maybe we wouldn't have "real" anecdotal evidence on here, but everyone is being real and sharing their birth experiences thus far, AND sharing their mom first victories, too.
We just need to keep the GIFS a comin' since @HayesRN13 is in labor! I've got 11 days before I'm due to fire this kid out, which means 11 days of giffing. Who's with me!!??!

@Westypet Yes! Pretty cool that I can say I witnessed a triple crown. Such a beautiful horse and a great race! I can't even begin to imagine how much those babies are going to cost!!!
@jessHeppel - I was wondering if a lot of regulars changed their names or if these new people really lurked for 9 months then suddenly felt the need to post an announcement! It is a public forum and for the most part I think my annoyance is pretty irrational, but there is no denying that disappointment when the new announcement post is not from a familiar name.

I had finally figured out how to change my username last week.
Do any other cat moms notice that their cats won't leave them alone lately? My Helen (who is normally very independent and sort of standoffish) will not leave my side. If I go in a room and she can't get to me, she freaks out. She is also letting me pet her, which never happens. I think she knows the baby is coming soon!
@Serenamarr I didn't get diarrhea until I was in active labor and not sure if thats normal. My nurse was mad cause I kept going to the bathroom but if I didn't there would have been sh** everywhere. I know that may be tmi so sorry.
@megtyrrell my cat has for sure gone crazy, but not in a nice snuggly way :-w she's taken to freaking out when I walk into the room or move near her and running at full speed into my daughter's room to hide under her bed. Maybe she's not ready for a baby??

My cat did this for the entire week before I went into labor... But she did sleep with me every night still... Maybe you are getting close!!

A similar situation happened to me today. I went to the bathroom and waited for it, then guessed maybe it wasn't ready or I had my wires crossed with this whole baby pressure on everything down there sensations. So I go to the store for a quick run, and as I'm limping my way around the store THEN it's ready. I was able to finish my store run and come home, but then my neighbor wanted to talk about 'when baby is coming'. :-S

I get so excited when I recognize the user name in the birth announcements. I agree it's weird to see so many random people. Who really cares? I also realized that I'm not sure if I'm more jealous of the moms because they have their babe's or because they don't have vomit-inducing heartburn.

::Raises hand:: I'm here! And I can verify that as some of us regulars (I hope I am considered one) have our babies, you will see us disappear for about a week or so... I can barely find time to eat right now! I do try to read, but not able to post with a baby in one arm
Question..... Did everyone go buy the fancy hands free pumping bra? I was planning on doing the cut the holes in the sports bra due to large boobs and not wanting to order on the internet to be disappointed that it's too small and suffocates me........ Lol Am I being dumb? Is this something I need to purchase?
