In regards to naming your kid Virginia being discussed on the appointment thread, I have an uncle by marriage who has a sister named Regina, but they pronounce it Ragina. Like vagina, but with an r. They also call her Giner. Apparently when my aunt and uncle got married, my granny called her vagina at the wedding. So awkward and they see nothing weird about it.
@virginiaunicorn11 yeah my username has part of my name in it. I half worry about that sometimes and half DGAF. Maybe I'll switch it one day. The boys name was Talwin, after a character in Raymond E Feist's 'Talon of the Silver Hawk' series. The character is Talon and hubs actually wanted the name Talon but knew I would veto that rightquick. Talon is eventually taken in by a mentor and trained to be a spy and takes the name Talwin for his cover. So hubs thought that would be a nice compromise and I was behind it, until I googled it. I just can't do it. I just name my kid the same name as a drug. Sorry, babe.

Morning all! My daughter is actually sleeping in due to the sugar high she got at the baseball game and 11p.m. bedtime so I'm just gonna veg out on my phone for a bit. It's my last day of week 36 and I'm just wanting to be lazy and make sure these BH don't become real labor contractions or I won't be able to go to the birth center (first world problems, I know) Eta: () and is there a character limit on a comment? I love QFP because it doesn't actually mean Quit F'ing Posting, but somehow that always seems like a contextually appropriate meaning as well.
Random for the day: DH and I just took a nice walk in a nearby forest. We knew it was there, but didn't know how close or how big it was. So exciting to find it! New daily activity.

Hahaha....It's so strange. My uncle and the other sister have normal names pronounced correctly, but not her. I really wonder how she introduces herself
Oh and my husband kept insisting we name our kid Latuda, after seeing some medication commercial on hulu. He was kidding but wouldn't let the joke die for weeks. Probably why I decided* to find out baby's sex.

You guys have inspired me to search for my username (which i changed back in january since my old username was used on other social media sites) and I had to chuckle because google wants my name to be "Momma's Whizz" as someone else had previously mentioned. Thankfully there was no revealing information in the search results... TAKE THAT PREGNANT SERIAL KILLERS!!
I had a dream last night that I had to deliver without DH. Now I get a call from my husband this morning after work saying he has strep throat!!!! I swear the man has no immune system whatsoever. Let's hope he's over this crap before baby makes his arrival!!
It's awful, but he gets sick so often I can't even feel bad for him anymore. The first thing I said was, "Well, you're not holding your son!"

Probably. Lol. During this pregnancy, he has had the flu, the GI bug, every form of the Man Cold, 2 ear infections, and now strep throat Thankfully, I only ever caught the GI bug from him, but I can't be a sweet little nurse for him at this point.
Started watching the show "Nashville" on Netflix, starring Mrs. Coach Taylor. It's fun, and oddly DH likes it, too. Not a country music fan, so that part's rough, but it's mindless and short enough for me to enjoy right now. Not enough fits that category this week...

I googled mine and I guess there is a rapper named Mellymar? My bump profile did come up as the second to last result on the first page, but clicking that just yields the normal stats. My profile pic came up in Google images tho. Not like I care cause its a pic of the ground.
clearly have too much time on my hands ..... Made the most amazing white chicken chili to eat and freeze + another freezer meal + 36 muffins + 24 cupcakes. And I am so not a good cook.....I'm forcing this for less stress after the baby. Walked 45 minutes. I feel like I might be dying now...... Give my love to the fam Love, Kasey P.s. Just came to say I very much enjoyed today's drama so thanks to jill holt.sad I was away from my technology most of the day. And as a person who is fat pregnant or not I was not particularly offended because I'm always like And I don't care!
DH just left with the roomate to go to the bigger town (where the good hospital is) till tomorrow. and here i am all by myself with 9 muffins left and almost a full pan of brownies. what will i ever do /:) and yeah.. not a huge people person. definitely a socially inept introvert.
now i just gotta figure out dinner for 1.. maybe ill just go buy hamburger meat and a couple arizonas. thats a meal right?

I "google imaged" my name on here and it was a bunch of random pictures and then about 10 pictures down (on page 2) was @virginiaunicorn11 's avatar! Haha (my avatar was no where to be found) Random.
@virginiaunicorn11 I love Nashville and country music. Switched at Birth is another show on Netflix that really surprised me of how hooked I got and then DH too.
I am a terrible person... In my stupor to try and get up to relieve my intense acid reflux instead of flinging my pillow around I whipped my DH's pillow right out from under him... Somehow he remained sleeping and now I'm debating how to get the pillow back to him without waking him...
