December 2015 Moms

What all did YOU eat today?

I love food. SO much. All the food here lately. My MS is finally dying down a bit, so my appetite is back in full force. What all did you eat today?

I will start, no shame :)

Breakfast: 7 mozzarella cheese sticks..Puked them up :(

Lunch: Nada..Still queasy.

Dinner: Panda Express black pepper chicken and fried rice

Dinner 2: Midnight, and I am making a bowl of spicy chili..I can not wait.

Today was my least healthy day ever. *Sigh*

  • I love Campbell's double noodle because it doesn't have any gross chicken in it... Carrots instead. I might have that later, that sounds good!

For breakfast I had a hard boiled egg, a slice of pineapple and my morning coffee with milk. Lunch was half a cup of brown rice with red kidney beans and roasted chicken. Snacked on some crackers for my nausea, so had a lemonade and for dinner spaghetti bolognese.

@CMDD I'm so trying that recipe
    I'm 29, husband is 30

Dinner #2: the rest of the can of corn chowder
Water and ginger tea through out the day.

I'm helping out with cub scout twilight camp this week, so dinner will be sandwiches every night.

OMG after reading the majority of your posts and your rather healthy choices, I am way too embarrassed to list my food choices lol

I am usually the healthiest eater but this pregnancy has me all out of whack. I can only stomach starchy foods and heavy carbs!

The only exception is strawberries. I can eat them allllll day long

I'm going to try peaches and watermelon tomorrow

I feel your pain!!! That's all I was able to take in up until 2 days ago. Plain pasta and bread T.T
  • My diet consists mainly of cheese and crackers, I have them everyday for breakfast and sometimes for lunch and dinner to, I find it helps with my nausea
  • Jealous of the healthy eating -I'm still in carb land too
    Breakfast- cereal
Lunch-cheese and crackers and a slurpee
    Dinner-mashed potatoes
Snacks-a peach, triscuits, juice, frozen sour gummy life savers (I've been freezing my gummies-it's amazing)
  • Jealous of the healthy eating here as well, although yesterday I was allowed to eat a ton of fruit salad, which was awesome. I also had mashed potatoes, an Amy's frozen bean burrito and fruit leathers as snacks. So weird.
  • So jealous of this healthy eating and variety of food eating, my limit is bread at the moment, only thing I can keep down
  • Breakfast: corn flakes cereal with frozen strawberries/ OJ to drink.
Snack 1: cucumber with cheese stick
Lunch: Greek yogurt with granola and banana
Snack 2: tortilla chips and hot salsa (yummo)
Dinner: deviled egg, grilled pork chop, baked beans and oven roasted potatoes (my DH request)
  • @ealiska my DH loves frozen gummies so your post totally made me smile. When I go to the store they immediately get put in the freezer and he gets annoyed when I sometimes kick them out temporarily if I need the freezer real estate :D
  • since i just finished breakfast I'll do yesterday:
Breakfast- Granny smith apple 2 hard boiled eggs
Lunch- Ranch dipped buffalo Doritos penn station 10 inch club sub
dinner- chicken sandwich with more doritos
  • Well, so far this morning I've had some fruit loops and 2 pb&j uncrustables.

    Yesterday I had:
Breakfast - pecan wheel, fruit loops
Snack - 2 packs of fruit snacks, cheez-its
    Lunch - bacon cheese fries
Snack - handful of grapes and a nutty buddy
Dinner - a delicious club sandwich and fries
Snack - half a box of salt water taffy.

  • Today was breakfast burritos, but yesterday I had
Bfast: 2 slices ezekial toast with PB & banana w/honey
snack: greek yogurt and about 5 Claussen pickle spears
Lunch: 2 crunchy tacos with veggie beef & beans
snack: Chex Mix (the bold flavor kind)
    dinner: Spaghetti  & salad

I can't get enough of claussen pickles & chex mix lately!
  • Yesterday:

breakfast: bowl of honey nut cheerios
lunch: two turkey pinwheels (I know, lunch meat is a no-no, but it's one of the few things I can stand eating right now!)
dinner: penne with vodka sauce (so good, but it made my dysgeusia flare up something fierce)

Today, not doing so hot, health-wise:

    breakfast: orange juice
lunch: A "Tina's Burrito" I had stashed in the office fridge (because I forgot my lunch) and two chocolate covered strawberries (however, didn't manage to forget to bring dessert)....

Toast is pretty much the only thing I can keep down with regularity. And ice cream. I can't wait til I feel better so I can actually eat food with real nutritional value!
  • Strawberries, eggos, and crackers. All of you healthy eaters make me jealous!
  • peanut butter wheat toast with coffee, blt with avacado, a slice of poppy seed bread and water.. not sure about dinner..
  • Late to the game ... but today has been:

Breakfast: plain bagel toasted with peanut butter and a yogurt with blueberries.

Lunch: not sure yet ... it's macaroni and cheese day in the cafeteria which is actually usually pretty delish ... but they also have taco salad bar which sounds great or just a big ole salad.

Tonight: We were going to have leftover khao tom (it's a Thai style rice and pork porridge) but the weather turned and it's really warm now so that might not be very appetizing.

I'm also craving fruity candy so a bag of Skittles might be thrown into the mix.
  • Breakfast: A pickle. One. Pickle. Two slurps of coffee.

Lunch: A greasy fish fillet sandwich from McDonald's and an iced tea as big as my head.
  • Nothing :-( I did drink some water though. I'll be looking forward to DH coming home so I can get something to eat. He left me saltines and pistachios by the side of the bed but I don't want them.

lots of posts about healthy eating. I find it's easier to do so if you onnnnly shop at the farmers markets or on the outside of the grocery store, i.e. dont buy anything packaged or processed. and just skip the fast food (ugh it made me gag to think of fast food). I let myself eat carbs when i first was feeling morning sickness and it helped with that but the bloating was ridiculous. now that i'm back to being more healthful i feel so much better.
  • Breakfast: hard boiled egg, spinach sandwich and smoothie

Lucnh: Watermelon, water and sushi (judge me)

Dinner: Chicken, brown rice and veggies and a Popsicle for dessert
    Due 11.16.17
    Baby Girl 12.9.15
    MC 2.1.15 @ 5 W - Chemical
    MC 4.7.14 @ 21 W - Turners Syndrome

  • Breakfast: bowl of fruity pebbles w/milk
    Snack: saltines
Lunch: LeanCuisine pizza, crackers with swiss cheese, jello w/whipped topping
    Dinner: planning on having spaghetti.

Jealous of all you ladies who are able to eat all the healthy stuff! I'm looking forward to getting back into my meat & veggies phase. For now, carbs have been my friend. :|

Scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast

Tuna sandwich with lettuce, cheese and tomato for lunch

    Hot tamales for a snack.

Oh and when I stopped by my aunt's she gave me a lemon bar lol

Mashed potatoes with hamburger gravy for dinner.
  • Breakfast: OJ, then a big piece of sourdough bread with mashed avocado and chopped up hard boiled egg. Topped with S&P and chili flakes.
    Snack: Grapes
Lunch: Was really nauseous, but then thought "sushi!" and my mouth started watering (pregnancy is sooo weird). So I went to Whole Foods and got a Shrimp Tempura roll and a oatmeal/choc chip/coconut cookie and an orange soda - what a combo!

I am excited for when I can eat the way I like to eat again. My nausea has subsided, but the smells. The smells! I want fruit for breakfast, but all my favorites just turn my stomach. Besides the point.

    Breakfast: OJ and almonds

    Lunch: Pad thai left overs

    Random snack: Rice pudding cup

Dinner: (soon) Pad thai left overs

I've been drinking OJ and water throughout the day, and snacking on almonds and banana chips.

Tomorrow will be the same thing. Trying to get rid of this dag on pad thai!

  • Breakfast: Smoothie with strawberries, bananas, chia seeds, spinach, and unsweetened almond milk.
Lunch: Salad with vinaigrette & homemade croutons, grape tomatoes, and a peach.
Dinner: Black bean vegan chili (I am so looking forward to this!!!)

Probably the healthiest day of my pregnancy yet as it does not consist solely of french fries and doritos. :P
