Gained 3 lbs at the 10 week mark, I'm now 14 weeks and have not stepped on the scale since. The only thing that helped my morning sickness was eating every 1-2 hours, but now that the ms has subsided in trying to make better food choices. Will be weighed Monday at my next doctors appointment... A little nervous!!! :-S good news I was 145 lbs (5'10") to start with, so hopefully the doc isn't too mad if I gained a few more lbs
Ugh me too!!!! I'm trying not to get too caught up in the weight because some days it's a 5 pound gain and the next it's 10! Can really mess with mentally
Im 5'0 tall only gained 1 pound in my first trimester. Im just now in my second haven't really gained much yet maybe 1 more pound but I do feel very heavy & breathless & my bump is there but its small but its been here since week 11 I seriously thought I was pregnant with twins so glad she looked & only saw one baby.
I'm 16 weeks and I'm Proud to say NO!! Baby is healthy and doing well...but I'm already a little overweight and doc says all I should be gaining is about 15 pounds, and it should be the babies weight - that is it. It's taking a lot of work and it's not easy resisting cravings. I'm very concerned about gaining to much though, so it helps me to be careful and motivates me to hit the gym!

Just curious, if you are 16 weeks pregnant how are you due in Dec? I'm just 14 weeks pregnant today and I'm due on Dec 2nd.
I am 13w2d and have actually lost weight, I lost 10 lbs from the time I found out I was pregnant and have since gained 3 back so I am still down 7lbs. I'm not sure how I managed to lose the weight, I only vomited 4 or 5 times and seemed to eat pretty much the same as always, maybe even more because I had to keep something in my stomach at all times to not feel nauseous.
I'm 12w5d and am at the same weight as pre-pregnancy. I have fluctuated a bit so far -- up 2lbs, down 2lbs...but as of this week I'm back to my regular weight. I definitely FEEL bigger, and my stomach looks bigger, but it just hasn't shown on the scale yet.
I will be 13 weeks on Saturday and despite eating CONSTANTLY, like every hour (no joke) I have only gained 3.5 lbs. If I do not eat every hour that's when I get nauseous. I wake up with horrible hunger pangs to the point I'm doubled over as I walk to the fridge. My stomach is growling right now and I ate less than an hour ago. And its not like I'm eating empty calories, although once in awhile I do indulge. But my average meal always consists of a good portion of protein, good carbs, and either a fruit or veggie along with a large glass of water, milk or reduced sugar juice. I don't over do it, I never overfill myself ever, I eat modest sized meals sometimes even smaller. But I have to snack every hour between meals. I don't understand with all the food I've eaten how did I only gain 3.5lbs? And how can I get my hunger pangs to go away? Anybody else with this problem?
how much you need/should gain throughout the pregnancy depends on your starting weight. If you are 90lbs you have more to gain to sustain a healthy baby compared to someone who is 300lbs.
I am 12 weeks now and have gained 5 pounds since my last checkup. I'm 5"0 tall. Before I was pregnant I weighed 92 pounds, at 4 weeks for my first checkup I weighed in at 96lbs and now at 12 weeks I weigh 101 lbs. I've had no morning sickness so I've just been eating lots!
Down 10 lbs in 2 weeks and am going on 11 weeks tomorrow. The most I ever gained when pregnant was 10 lbs. I've always had horrible HG and crazy food aversions. Pretty much go on a vegetarian diet plus chasing 3 kids under 4 sure keep me busy.
I stepped on the scale today for the first time in weeks. I've gained about 2 pounds. It feels like 10 though, I was actually shocked when I looked at the scale. I am 10 weeks 4 days.
I've gained 6 pounds already. And all your responses make me want to cry (
I've gained about 5. Don't feel bad, everyone gains at different rates. I gained maybe a pound in my last trimester last pregnancy. Could not gain weight even if I tried. As long as you eat well, it evens out in the end.
I've been considering doing another whole30. It's all real, healthy food, so there'd be no risk to baby. I just don't know if I'm ready to eat so much meat again.
Oh man I was so hungry when I did Whole30. I don't like meat so it was a struggle. It is too restrictive for me during pregnancy, but the day I get home from the hospital, I am back on that bandwagon.
As crazy as it sounds im 12 weeks as of today & im pregnant with twins! I haven't gained an ounce of weight ; if anything I've lost!!!& I eat like a pig! Literally but it comes & goes because sometimes all food is icky I gotta force myself to eat ; I also work at a semi hot factory so I usually loose weight in the summer. But im concerned because of the simple fact im pregnant with twins so i should be gaining. Morning sickness has definitely got the best of me!
I am really happy to see that other people have lost weight as well. Before the pregnancy I lost about 20kgs and finally got down to my goal weight. Since the pregnancy I have lost about 3kgs more and was getting worried but doc told me its all good.
I'm currently 14w and before finding out I was pregnant lost 30 pounds on an strict diet nd extreme fitness (took me forever to even start) gained 13 and broke down when I cudnt button my old favorite jeans

It's hard.
I think I've been losing because of all the SLEEPING
