I'm going on 10wks (I'm approximately 6'2" so my bump probably won't be super noticeable for a while because of my long torso) but I've gained 3lbs so far. Have you ladies gained weight? And if you don't mind sharing, how much??
Depends on the day. I'm flirting within a 3lb range that seems to come and go with the blump. Almost 11 weeks, and it seems like I've been staying lower the past few days. Fingers crossed because I'd like to escape this pregnancy within 20lbs.
I'm wording on week 11 and I've probably gained 2 lbs. I try to weigh myself first thing in the morning for consistency, but it also seems to depend on how bad MS and constipation have been.
None yet! I lost a few pounds (down to 120) due to morning sickness and not wanting to eat, but I've gained them back and I'm now back to my pre-pregnancy weight (125). I'm 11w1d.
Right before I found out I was pregnant, I did a whole30 (very strict paleo) and lost 10 pounds. Fighting 1st trimester exhaustion and nausea, I haven't worked out much and have eaten -all- the carbs. I've gained back all 10 pounds. Hooray 1st trimester!
I'm 11w4d and I've gained 3lbs. I started out strong with eating healthy but the past few weeks were filled with junk food and carbs. I'm getting back on track with the healthy eating I was already about 15lbs overweight pre-pregnancy so I'm really nervous about gaining too much excess weight during pregnancy. My OB told me that 2-5 lbs during the first trimester was a healthy gain though so that makes me feel better.
I gained about 3 after a vacation at 7 wks, but now down to pre-pregnancy weight at 11 wks Really scared about gaining more than 20 (already overweight) so happy to be on track for first tri.
I'm pretty sure my cravings are kicking in, there may have been a bag of trader joes Cheetos that didn't last 2 days last week. I'll be catching up soon @christinapage@Fdpolla92
I'm 12 weeks and it's weird because I had gained 7 pounds but somehow I lost 3 pounds over the last 2 days (not sure how) and so now my official weight gain is 4 pounds.... kinda strange.
I have lost 14 lbs in 11 weeks but clothes with buttons are already out. I don't know where that weight came from as my stomach is so bloated and boobs went up a size and a half so far.
No I've lost a wee bit I think. My tummy has a giant gas bump but my arms and legs are thinner. I'm struggling to eat enough. It worries me a lot actually and I obsess over finding calorie rich foods. This is hard work.
I was underweight before getting pregnant at 5'4 and only 100 pounds . So they encouraged me to eat like a beast . And I have .. Lost the first however now I'm a whole 116 pounds with a 10 week baby . Gained 5 lbs from the time I got the positive .. Going to slow down now
I'm 13 weeks on Sunday, I've actually lost 8 pounds in my first trimester from 144 to 136. Baby is doing great and healthy so not too worried. I also only check my weight at my appointments as it is not good to become obsessive and there's so much fluctuation day to day!
I also did a strict weight loss program before finding out. I gained about seven just by adding carbs back in (my body hates them). Then, between my seven week appt and now im up another four. I went from super clean eating and hardcore exercise to not great eating and no exercise so im not surprised. Finally have energy back so hoping to get back on track this week and nip this before it gets worse.
I've been considering doing another whole30. It's all real, healthy food, so there'd be no risk to baby. I just don't know if I'm ready to eat so much meat again.
I was eating low carb before pregnancy too so i knew I'd gain quickly. I was surprised to only be up 5 pounds at my last appointment (13w) but none of my pant fit properly anymore...
Looking at healthier carbs now that MS has passed and getting back to regular exercise. I was about 20lbs overweight et the start of my pregnancy so I don't want to gain lots of unnecessary weight either!
I also was on a strict weight loss program- prescribed by my RE for PCOS- before I got pregnant. Lost 30 pounds in the last year or so, clean eating, very low carbs, lots of exercise. But I am still overweight. I thought for sure I would gain because my diet is now whatever I can keep down (which does not include any vegetables) and exercise is just not happening, but I'm down 4lbs from my starting pregnancy weight thanks to morning sickness.
I'm 13w3d and I've gained 3-4. Not one of the lucky ones who have lost but stayed within the 2-5 that my Ob recommended for the first trimester so that's good. Body shape has definitely changed though. I was 126lb 5'5" when I got pregnant, I'm hoping to only gain 20-25 but we'll see what my body says about that
I've gained 4 lbs so far, I'm 11w1d. I'm a fairly skinny gal though so my Dr wants me to gain about 35 lbs before baby gets here. Some days I'm still really bloated though so I'm sure my weight is going up and down. My OB simply told me to keep eating healthy and toss my scale out the window
At my last appt at 11w5d I was up 4lbs. I was also eating pretty well before pregnancy but felt so crappy during the first weeks that all I wanted was salt and carbs. I've been in a 2 week vacation and I'm pretty sure I gained more. At almost 14 weeks and second baby I definitely have a bump that's more than bloat. I plan to eat clean once I'm back to work Monday and try to level this weight gain. I gained 32 my last pregnancy but I was in a better shape and gave birth at 36 weeks. My goal is no more than 30 this time round.
I'm 12+6 and have lost 5lb (down to 135) and have no hint of a bump yet. With my previous 3 I'd gained by now and had a belly so don't know what's going on this time! x
Definitely have gained weight and vowed not to step on the scale anymore( which I barely did before). Before I got pregnant I was working out pretty hard core, doing Insanity Max30 workouts, and went from a size 14 to a size 8. I haven't had MS, but I've had crazy food aversions, and I am constantly asleep. So, no workouts and carbloading have led to a 10-15 lb gain( 5 lb fluctuation). I'm gauging it by how my legs and butt feel in my old pants, and what sz maternity pants I buy. I'm 13w3d. I already had an emotional meltdown about how much weight I have gained in such a short time, so I have vowed that as soon as I can stay awake long enough, I going to workout.
I was doing the 21 day fix prior to getting pregnant and have now gained 10-15 lbs. I was eating super healthy and barely any carbs and if I did eat carbs they were healthy carbs. All of a sudden I'm pregnant and sick and only eating carbs (refined, processed ones) and my body just gained in an instance
Before I found out I was at pre first baby weight for a whole 2 weeks....ugh. No weight gain this time yet and hoping to shoot for that 20-25 range by the time it's all said and done because losing baby weight is so hard. Like two years hard.

I am 9wks +5 and have gained 3-7 lbs depending on the day. It's more than I wanted for this early, but eating actually helps me not feel sick so I guess I'd rather feel fat than sick. I was also training for a half marathon when I found out so I'm hoping to get more regular runs in now that my energy is coming back. Hopefully that helps curb the weight gain.
