After about 6 months of not having a single headache I now have a very mild but annoying one... And after some cramping last night I woke up to my body mocking me and saying "ha got ya"... Really really wanting to go into labor soon...
I was up peeing a million times last night, and I have an annoying cramp in my right leg.
I have a dietician appointment this morning and an OB appointment this afternoon, where hopefully I will find out my cervix has progressed from last week (I'm hoping for a VBAC). If it hasn't I'm not sure what that conversation may look like (since induction is a bit tricky and I don't know how ready I am to lock into a repeat c). All I know is that I'm ready for baby to come.
I also had a leg cramp last night. I hadn't experieneced one in months, so it was a bummer it returned as a symptom. Hopefully it was just a one-off for both of us!
Still really crampy, but thats been since 31 weeks so who's counting? 2 weeks left today. Starting to feel really jealous of my friends who are having their babies are are due around or AFTER me.
Due tomorrow. So antsy for this to happen. Headache yesterday and today, hadn't had a single one since 16 weeks. Lots of BH yesterday, most painful cramps I've ever had on Monday. So far today, just the headache.
Been having contractions every 25-30min for two days. I wish they would pick up or get more intense. Thought I was leaking fluid and went in for appt, turns out I'm just peeing myself a little. so that was fun news...And still walking like I'm crippled because of sciatica. Waiting for a phone call today to see if I will be induced tomorrow! (All mine have had to have to be induced -- not waiting for 41wks if I can help it!) I'm really hoping we'll only need the 1cc/hr of pitocin to just get things going!
With my due date being yesterday I now have become beyond paranoid that every pinch, cramp, or back pain means it is finally time for labor and then of course it isn't. Lol. :-q
I think I am a believer in the full moon.. Definitely not in active labor yet but I woke up at 4am with pretty consistant (but still relatively mild) contractions and lost mp - progress!! Other than that, just fat, tired and itchy.
18 days is so far away...... I would like this baby to come on his own before that. Normally 18 days is nothing...... 18 days in pregnancy is a decade. I do love the "what are you doing before LO is born thread".... Great one @Westypet
Feel that weird very low cramping/cervical weirdness going on all night. Every other day it's either the 'd' word or constipation..... Make up your mind body. The baby movements are STILL painful. People keep saying this will go away. When?!? The day before I deliver?!?!
Note of positivity today so I don't sound like a wet rag....... My friend is off and we will go walk and hopefully grab coffee if my esophagus can dig today!
My snoring is so crazy. I think my husband sleeps like two hours a night. Around 1:30 am I had my first real, painful contraction. Freaked me out. I still have a lot to get done before the baby comes.
Feeling swollen and fat. Carpel tunnel is hanging around. Hoping for motivation to clean and organize our bedroom today. It's been the one thing I'm dreading. That and brushing the dog.
Attempting to stay calm while I wait for my appointment at 2 where they'll tell me if I'm being induced tonight or not. YIKES. So I'm just feeling like a big bag of nerves over here.
Also, feeling irritated because I got my eyebrows waxed yesterday and it broke my skin out for some reason so my eyebrows may look goofy as hell in my first pictures with the baby. Haha.
It's induction day for me! Going in at 6 pm for wonderful ripening of the cervix!!! Just relaxing all day today, spending time with my fur babies and going through my hospital bag that I packed more than a month ago! And I'm vacuuming AGAIN today! My 2 huskies are shedding like crazy right now blowing their under coats, it's bad for about a month every year and of course it's at the time Lo is coming!! Oh well! I love my boys! Lots of babies born yesterday and last night! Hope the full moon brings me some luck tonight for an easy induction!!! Have a great day ladies!!!

Hands feel like someone hit them with a Mallot also extremely swollen along with my feet. Numbness in hands and feet. Lots of cramping and having to pee every 10min. Yea my scheduled csection on 6/9 could not come soon enough feeling so miserable. :'-(

You are not alone! The first thing my husband told me when I woke up this morning was that I snored all night. I asked him, well..why didn't you wake me up and try to move me? His response was " I did!". Umm...oops! I don't even remember him trying to wake me up lol
Other than snoring... Extreme pelvis pain. It seriously hurts to walk. Thank God my job is understanding and as long as they know I'm alive they don't expect me to be there.

I downloaded Ina May's guide to childbirth yesterday and dreamed that I had a home birth at my grandparents old farmhouse that no matter one has lived in for years. My granny was my midwife, which was also odd as she passed 5 years ago. I tossed and turned all night with my hips and knees hurting. Praying these next 3.5 weeks pass quickly.
GOOD NEWS INTERNET AMIGOS!!!! This is my third day in a row working from home this week and I too can see my ankle bones again (high five @elizab14 !) So this means I'm not just FAT!!! YAYYYYYYY!!! <:-P
I am stabby and jealous still though lol. After yet another dream that I had my baby last night, I'm aching to be done. Was having contractions every 15-20 minutes for about 3-4 hours last night. Some were only mildly painful, while others were taking my breath away. Spent most of the night walking around and just trying to either get comfortable or get things going a little quicker. Then of course they just stopped all together :-w I was starting to get excited. Still have major pelvic and lower back pressure today. Can't feel little one moving so much except for a random foot stretching into my side every little while. Hopefully that means she dropped into position and things are starting to happen! doctors appointment this afternoon so hoping that I'm finally starting to dilate (maybe I'll even be told I'm going into labor! - a girl can wish!!!!) officially 5 days from due date...
The Bump App says baby is now the size of a pumpkin. Personally, this isn't a confidence boosting or empowering analogy.. considering the size of Virginia in comparison to a pumpkin. Fffff...
So jealous of everyone having their babes!! But even more happy for you guys! My cousin has the same due date as me and she is getting induced Friday.
I'm super happy for her though. I wish I could know exactly when LO was coming. 4 days till my due date and showing minimal symptoms. Pretty convinced she will be late. Really wishing my body would show some signs that she will be here soon. DR app tomorrow, curious to see if I'm dilated anymore. But I doubt it. Thankfully if I do go late I do feel pretty good and not miserable, so I can handle it.
Had contractions bad yesterday evening so I went in to get checked. They decided to spread out once I got there. The on call dr was former military and to the point and wouldn't let me ask questions. DH and I weren't happy. The residents were so much better when they came by to check in. Anyway, the on call dr sent me home and i've had the contractions all night since. They're super strong and make it hard to breathe or think. I have a dr appointment early tomorrow and will definitely talk to my normal doctor about it. I'm officially 39 weeks today so we're getting close.
In other news, my level of annoyance is more than a little high. They are paving outside my house and making a giant mess and noise. I wouldn't normally mind since this is the kind of thing I supervise at work, but they're notorious for not doing things correctly out here and it caving in. Also, my house smells like asphalt....

Nesting urge and energy still strong. I cleaned out our outside trash can this morning. Like the one we roll to the street for trash pickup. To be fair, we threw away a couple of rotten watermelons last week and they leaked out of the trash bag and made it disgusting, so maybe I would have felt compelled to clean it regardless?
Overall feeling pretty good today. Officially 40 weeks and looking forward to our appointment this afternoon. Come on, baby girl, we are ready to meet you!

I know some of you hate the term, but when my BH start up, all I can think is, "Yep. I'm about to pop. What an accurate description." My belly feels like it's carrying a bowling ball inside of a giant water balloon.
I feel almost flu-like, but I'm going to call it a plus because I'm sleeping so much better. The dogs have been extra loving and hubs is in panic mode about getting all of the final stuff together, so I am totally milking not feeling well. Can't wait for this guy to decide it's time, though. I feel like a whale and not being able to get out of chairs sucks. Haha

Contractions are now 10 minutes apart & it's looking like a great day for a baby. Please send prayers and positive vibes my way!
