❔❓❔Pre labour, confused❔❓❔

in June 2015 Moms
so been told I'm in pre labour, been having irregular contractions for over 3 days, my midwife says it's back labour, The babies head is positioned in the birth position but been told to just wait till the contractions are regular or my waters break, I've noticed a few times a lot of discharge which is clear and stitcky, but now I've had some which is unsticky, just want to know whether your waters can break slowly or anything along them lines and whether anybody can estimate how far I am off official labour, thanks

    Waters can break slowly kind of like a leaking faucet. As far as how close you are to labor, that's up to baby. There is honesty no way of knowing.

    We are not doctors. We are internet people........... It's hard to explain that over and over to people who NEVER post and just show up.......

    If I could estimate how far you are in labor I would be one hell of a psychic through a computer.

    That's no excuse to post a picture as if I'm stupid, to women with experience who maybe have been through a similar thing maybe they could give me an insight into how long it took for them, so just don't comment because this post was invented for replies off friendly helpful women, not stuck up attention seekers ha

    Yes. Your waters can trickle out slowly.
    If you can't walk and talk through your contractions because of the pain, then that's when you'll be able to tell your in labor.

    We have delivery stories in almost every thread and weekly appt threads for sharing dilation and effacement and progress........... Look there.

    Yep- you're exactly right @swaugh14 - this is when I do have time to read and comment if I want- when I can't sleep. Sorry that these are the people you learn from. And I think I'm entitled to put some rudeness out there, if I like, they certainly dish theirs out. So mind yo business.
