What have you had to eat today?

I had a bowl of cinnamon life with fresh blueberries for breakfast and 2 slices of pizza (1 of them was salad pizza, very healthy of me, I know) for lunch.  I am still ravenous.  All I want to do is eat food all day long.  I am trying to figure out what to eat next, and looking for some inspiration.  What have you ladies had to eat thus far today?

  • I too feel that way. Yesturday I went out to eat with my DH and MIL and about 30 minutes after we get home I'm craving lifesavers gummies. For breakfast I had french toast. Just got done eating a loaded baked potato from Wendy's with tons of melted cheese. Now I want fruit... Thinking mango.
  • My DH brought lunch home, and as lovely as that is I could only eat 1 fry, 2 bites of the burger and a small sip of iced tea.
I had a couple crackers for breakfast.
And half a popsicle for an afternoon snack.
  • So far today:

Breakfast was a banana with all natural peanut butter

Lunch was a homemade stuffed bell pepper (rice, lean beef, tomatoes, shredded carrot, garlic, onion, basil, and a little Parmesan cheese).

    Snack 1 - yogurt
  • A bowl of honey oat cereal for brekkie, and a bowl of chilli with obscene amounts of sharp cheddar for lunch (oh hey heartburn, havent seen you for a while...). Oh yeh, and an entire bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk while waiting for delivery guys to show up with my couch. The only thing stopping me shoving more food in my face right now is the minor inconvenience of being stuck at work...
  • A bowl of cereal and then 3 slices of pizza. I'm about to break into some oranges I think.

  • @ceridwen77 - I am drooling at the thought of the stuffed bell pepper - yum!

Breakfast - waffles with sliced bananas

Lunch -  a crispy chicken salad

Snack - a rice crispy treat and some strawberries

  • First thing - raw supergreens powder in water

Breakfast - coconut milk, chocolate protein powder, oats, natural pb, cacao nibs all blended in Vitamix

Lunch - bell pepper stuffed with ground turkey, brown rice, and homemade tomato chilli sauce

Snack - apple and 2 Babybel cheese

Dinner - baked sockeye salmon, parsley boiled new potatoes and steamed sugar snap peas
  • I'm going to dinner at TacoSarah's! That sounds delicious.

A chocolate protein shake with 2 bananas, 3 scrambled eggs with a little cheese on whole wheat toast and a buncha water after my run this morning. Haven't decided on lunch yet. I ate bad all weekend and am trying not to go for the jalapeño cheese corn dog I have in my freezer. MMM!
  • Breakfast: bagel with cream cheese.
    Morning snack: grapes
Lunch: pb&j, cheese stick, and Apple sauce (my little kid lunch lol).

About to have some chex mix.
  • Breakfast was an everything bagel with a kind of ridiculous amount of cream cheese. Lunch was spaghetti and a big salad. I'm getting hungry so I think when I pick up my step daughter from school in a minute we will go to Starbucks for a frappucino and a brownie.
  • Vanilla long john and a french dip sandwich

We don't have a starbucks in our town, it's a 5 hour drive each way to the nearest one.
  • I'm staaaaarving right now and since noon (EST) I've eaten a bowl of mini carrots, an egg salad sandwich, watermelon, broccoli, dried fruit, cashews, a large piece of bread and butter, and a Nature Valley Sweet & Salty nut bar. Still ravenous. Give me all of the foods.
  • Love all these great meal ideas, ladies!

For breakfast, I had: Special K cereal, with unsweetened almond milk and a banana

Snack 1: Organic plan Greek yogurt with blueberries and granola

Lunch: Chicken soup, side of black beans and brown rice, small spinach and kale salad

Snack 2: green apple and a mozzarella cheese stick

  • All yall are so healthy!
I had a baggie of cinnamon chex cereal for breakfast on the way to the doctor for breakfast and picked up taco bell for lunch after. I just polished off a couple of bags DD's fruit snacks from my purse and I'm thinking of having a Greek yogurt.
  • Just reading this I realized not enough. Lol I'm starving!

Whaaaat?  How is there a place that exists where the closest Starbucks is a five hour drive?  I thought they had infiltrated practically every possible five mile radius on the planet!  We have two within the same mall here with a standalone store less than eight blocks away.

Yeah within a 10 mile radius we have at least 6.

I ate the yogurt I was debating about and now a nectarine and some pineapple... with all that sweet fruit I now want some radishes and cucumbers...
  • I think I'm stopping for a Starbucks drink and cake pop on my way later lol
  • I had crispix with peaches blueberries, and almond milk. That never tides me over for long so I had peanut butter and honey sandwich abt 3 hours later. Then it happened, I was driving between patients houses and I succumbed to the disgusting McDonalds craving that I e had for awhile now. Needless to say, that huge Amount of horribleness held me over for awhile so I skipped my typical afternoon snack. Tonight, it's just my DS and I so we are having baked potatoes with lentils.

I live in a small town. I'm just thankful that they have a hospital a lot closer than 5 hours. It's heathier for me to live without starbucks or I'd be there too much.

Side note: Breyers has Girl Scout cookie ice cream out right now... Yep... Time to go to the market.
  • Better question... What haven't I eaten today. Ugh, the struggle is real.
