Don't get me wrong I'm so excited to be able to finally meet our little man but at the same time I'm not excited. Does that make sense?
I just don't how to feel about it sometimes, and I think people get the wrong impression on how I say yes I'm excited.
Any other ladies feel like this?
Re: Excitement for baby...
I'm not like that, but I feel like I'm meant to be.
Don't overthink it - that invites drama and anxiety. If you really think there's a problem, like with depression, talk to your doctor. Otherwise, you sound like a breath of fresh air and someone I'd want to get a drink with. I don't dig squealy.
Person I know - "OMG squeeee! Its almost time! I bet you're SOOO..."
Me - "Terrified"
Person I know - "I was GOING to say excited and happy" include dirty look and somewhat sneering delivery of words
Me - "well, I'm terrified"
Like @amark11 says, unless you feel there is a problem with the way you feel (depression), you're allowed to feel however you want. Its your baby, its your life.
