34 weeks- Could my little man be trying to make an early appearance?

I just hit 34 weeks on Monday and started having a lot pressure in my crotch and butt (feeling like everything is going to fall out), mild cramping, with this said its making it very difficult to walk or anything. Today (Tuesday 5/26) i started feeling nauseated and almost vomited and have no appetite, very fatigued, etc etc. I have not (as far as i know) lost the mucus plug or started having contractions. However i went into preterm labor at 30 weeks and they stopped my contractions.

Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them and when i can "possibly" expect a baby? Someone else i spoke to about this said they give it 2 weeks.

Sounds like normal 3rd trimester symptoms to me.

Hi lady! You're about to get some replies that may put you off, through no real fault of your own other than not looking through other threads... I'm 35 weeks and I had a day JUST like this last week!! I was convinced I was going into labor. Ended up going back to normal the next day. You might just be pushing yourself too hard! Take a day off and relax

amark- not really worried about being set off, just want some other experiences that others may have had so i know what i can or wont expect. i know no one can tell you when you are going into labor!! Like i said i've had a previous pregnancy but this one is totally different. I'snt this what the discussion boards are for, is to ask questions and get different experiences/opinions that others have had? I didnt have any of these symptoms with my 1st so that is why i posted it.

OP, your symptoms are typical for 3rd trimester. Check out our Daily Symptoms thread and you'll see that most of us are experiencing the same thing and more.

I will have him either way on June 29th for scheduled c-section. I just wanted to find out if there was a possibility of him trying to come early.

What I am trying to tell you is that these opinions and experiences have been shared here, and thus people are getting prickly about the same questioned being asked. Repeatedly. Yes, it is the point of the board. But the board can serve its purpose better if these responses are collected together. Which has happened. In the threads I'm directing you to. You will find them useful if you use them. You will find backlash if you keep insisting you want all the responses here. Just trying to help you...

@amark11 gave you a really, really nice response. Most of those of us who post on here on a regular basis (and therefore, are most likely to respond to you) are sick of answering questions like these. To reiterate:

1) We don't know when you're going into labor

2) You might go early, but you might go late.

3) What you've described is typical of the third trimester. So, no, probably not a sign of impending labor. And yes, many of us have experienced what you've described.

well then just forget i asked for any opinions from anyone i thought this would be helpful and some have been and some not so much. Sorry i wont post again on here. I have never used this sight except for countdown and a little searching that is it and never once have looked/used the blogs/discussion boards, SO MUCH FOR A FIRST GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Thank you to the ones who have actually said something about a "possibility", which that was all i was looking for.

And ill make sure to tell people that i know not to use this sight for posting anything cause they will just get pushed away and told to look elsewhere.

Of course it's a possibility. Everything's a possibility. But these are questions you should be asking your doctor in terms of preterm labor instead of a bunch of random strangers.

its not that i don't like it, its just plain rude. Before i posted anything on here, i wish i would have known i was going to be told to look elsewhere that's all when this is my VERY FIRST TIME actually using this. instead of getting rude comments. I don't mind getting the responses I live in MN, i've had worse and do not take offense to anything. WE ARE NOT MINNESOTA NICE as everyone claims we are.

Everyone is taking this way out of proportion..... ALL I ASKED FOR WAS "POSSIBILITIES, EXPERIENCES OR OPINIONS or whatever not to be shot down and told go look here or go look there, you took the time to type that but cant take the time to type here's my opinion, experience or possibility? What sense does that make. im sure this sight is not for women to freak the hell out on each other and be rude as hell to someone who is using this for the first time.

OP I know you must feel ganged up on and I hope you can put that feeling aside for just a second and think about what you posted. After having preterm labor at 30 weeks (thus you are fully aware of the possibility that your baby may come early) you are asking a bunch of strangers when you can possibly expect your baby. What were you expecting the responses to be? The only sure signs that your labor is coming soon is your water breaking and consistent contractions that increase in strength and frequency. If you don't have those, your baby could POSSIBLY be coming at literally any time in the next six weeks. If you do have those signs, you should be on your way to L&D! Assuming you knew all this already, again what were you expecting the responses to be??

Yes, what you're feeling has happened to most of us. They are all 3rd trimester symptoms. I have them all daily. It does not mean the baby will come early. But no one knows when the baby will come.

Please don't feel like you are being pushed away. We are all here to help one another. Sometimes some comments and posts can be taken as "rude" but also please realize we are all in the same boat and as stated, sometimes posts get repeated. Sometimes it's a good thing and other times it just floods the forum. As far as your post goes, just be on alert and if I would guess anything, I would say you may go earlier then 40 weeks. But I also have no way of knowing as I'm not of fortune teller. I hope you carry until at least 38. But if you did go earlier, your baby would most likely be okay. Beat of luck and hope to still see you on here

Your friend that said to expect your baby in the next 2 weeks is full of balogna. Unless she is your OB and is totally psychic, she doesn't know any more than we do. And if she IS your OB, then you don't really need our opinions, do you?

You're pregnant. It's a possibility that your baby can come at any given time.
