I don't have much sympathy for people who are surprised when their boyfriends skip out or are sucky partners. I'm not a traditionalist by any means and I know marriage isn't a guarantee, and that families come in all shapes and sizes: but if your guy hasn't even committed to you legally, don't be shocked if they don't feel committed to the baby.
PS I have nothing but respect for single moms - I was raised by one. This is more about the naïveté I've seen from a few women that makes me wonder what they thought the outcome would be!

That being said I'm the extreme in the other direction ... DH and I got married after 8 years of dating and pregnant after 12 years. So yeah we both like to be fairly certain about big steps!

I wanted to be cool like everybody else and have a for real picture instead of a generic one. And I wanted that photogenic badge. Here it is bigger to help recognize it
My FFFC is that if I see my in laws number pop up on my phone when they call 98% of the time I don't answer because honestly they both annoy me for different reasons (they annoy DH too) and I'm secretly glad when they can't come over to visit on the weekends because they're working or on call. I wouldn't tell them to not come over because DD loves spending time with them and I don't want to deny her time with her grandparents just because they annoy me but I'm so happy when they work weekends

I used to crop dust the walk in when I was pregnant with DS. It was the only "private" space (that was convenient) in the bakery. I also let one go when I was alone in a shared work space, only to have my coworker come back too soon. I tried to blame it on the Russian dishwasher who doesn't speak English, but I was totally busted. :-??
Also speaking of grammar/spelling, alot is NOT a word, it's a lot.

I see those, but I know I have others. I've seen them on the big screen version of my account. I think those are the most recent 'achievements' for interactions, etc. I know I have another single one like the "@", and other ones with the heart or check and different #s. Badge hunting, lol. Its taken the place of badge hunting on my untappd (beer app)
@mellymar - OMG, you are right! I do have the badge, and so do you! Yippee! (Definitely checking out that untappd app now, sounds like just the thing for this coming summer.)
@Frogger5 if you like beer then you should get untappd. Its like foursquare, for beer. You can get badges for a certain number of beers that fit into a certain style, or are regional (ex - 'brewnettes have more fun' for x many brown ales, 'das boot' for x many German ales, 'pucker up' for x many sour ales). It will recommend beers similar to what you check into, so you learn about new stuff that way. Lastly - I decided randomly at the beginning to accept every single friend request I got on this app (it barely shares any info about you - what you're drinking, and where if you have connected it to actual foursquare and tell it where you are) and I have met some awesome beer people who in turn led me to more events and a secret beer fb group...
My only problem is that there isn't a badge for women coming back from pregnancy (I've missed out on 3 or 4 special edition badges during my hiatus and it would be nice to have something to show for it). I actually mentioned it to the guy who created it 2 years or so ago when he was in NYC for a beer show, and he said he actually got this request a lot and was trying to work one out, but I guess he hasn't yet. Slacker.

Ah! Mine did this too at first. I think they are randomly generated. It stopped once I went on an actual PC and used the actual webpage to access my account and set a profile picture. I don't think it can be done from mobile, tho
