My husband doesn't like any of the names I love. However, he has suggested two that I like. Gwen being one of them. Then, he throws a wrench in it all by mentioning that he prefers Gwin-spelled Gwynn, better than Gwen! Wth hubby?! Anyway, I can't decide if Gwynn is masculine?? Any help here?!?!

Ya I wouldn't use any of those as far as being credible. A lot of baby sites online ANYONE can post to, it doesn't take into consideration the history or the etymology of a name, just that someone states it's a name. Behindthename does and if it does end up adding a name that say is very modern it will show as a user submitted name. This is the about section of behindthename

On its own, I think I like Gwen better than Gwin or Gwynn, they looks a little silly to me.
